All I ever wanted was to be a female fighter. It was in my blood to smack people around. Some girls wore pink dresses and makeup, I wore sneakers and bruises.I was a loner, stuck to myself because I was different, until Camden Steel moved next door. I punched him in the mouth, and he saw me through rose colored glasses from that day on.I had everything I ever wanted. The boy next door, inspiring … boy next door, inspiring career… until I didn’t.
He hates me. I deserve that.
They say you have to fight for what you want… What they don’t tell you… is it’ll cost you more than you’re willing to give to reach the top.

Love Tap is a second chance love about an MMA fighter struggling with what is left of his career and his childhood love who is trying to fight her way into the MMA world. Camden is a total Alpha that I struggled to like at first. He was a complete and total a$$ to Tate and did everything in his power to hurt her emotionally, but reading the flashbacks to what happened, I could see just how totally devastated he really was. Already struggling with so much with what he’s got going on in his professional life, finding out your long lost love is training at your gym, yeah can’t say I blame the guy. Tate is a total bada$$ and I wanna be just like her. Finally deciding that she’s going to live her life for herself and do what she’s always wanted to…fight, she drops out of school and moves back home. Finding a gym and a coach is her next step and imagine her surprise when she ends up at the same gym as her long lost love. The boy she left behind four years ago. Only now he’s no longer a boy, he’s definitely a man.
This book is both heartbreaking and heartwarming learning both of their stories. There’s suspense, and lots of chemistry that these two just can’t deny. Oh and did I mention some down and dirty? Yes, definitely some down and dirty! So much so down and dirty that my kindle was smoking. Overall I loved this book. It was definitely a page turner and just drew me in. I hope MN brings us more from the MMA world.

A breath of fresh air. A strong female lead. Cant get much better than that. Wonderfully written that characters seem real. Very entertaining. Leaves me craving for More stories like this.
One thing I love about MN Forgy is she know how to put her own spin on a story.
The MMA stories I usually read, and I don’t read them often, are always about male fighter. This one is about a female fighter that alone interested me.
Tatum is a tomboy not into pink, barbie or anything remotely girly.
Camden is her best friend/boyfriend who totally loves that she’s not a girly girl and they have great chemistry.
After a great loss, things go pear shaped for the two and you’re hoping they will be able to find their way back to each other.
Camden holds on to a lot of resentment towards Tatum.
I loved this story, a girl fighter who kickass and is tough as nail and it’s the male character that’s heart broken.
He can be a complete ass sometime making their relationship intense and they’re always fighting each other. But there’s love there they just need to find it again
I’ve only read M.N. Forgy’s MC books so when I saw the blurb for Love Tap, I got super excited. Not only is it about a fighter but it’s about a female fighter and I love strong female leads. Add that on top of being a second chance story and I was sold.
Tate Davis has only ever wanted to be a fighter since she was a little girl. It’s in her blood and she lives and breathes it. No matter how much her mother wanted her to wear dresses and look the part of the pretty little girl, Tate just wouldn’t conform. When a new neighbor arrives next door, this little fighter has met her match. He’s just as competitive as her and claims to be a better fighter then she is.
Camden Steel has always felt pulled towards Tate since they first met. She’s not like the other girls and that drawls him to her. Over time, they share their love of fighting and eventually involve into the love of each other’s lives. Or so he thought until the day she left him and never looked back. Then four years later, she shows up back in his life and at his gym. Are there still unresolved feelings between the two or have they finally moved on from each other?
First of all, Tate is one strong female. When life threw her a different path than she always dreamed, she finally said enough is enough and sought after what it is she needs. To be a fighter. She’s determined, strong, fierce, loyal and tenacious. She knows she wants to become one of the top female fighters and she knows she wants Camden back in her life and she goes at them full force.
What I really enjoyed the most out of this story was the emotions that caused a very thin line between love and hate. Camden harbors very strong feelings over her leaving him and he’s full of resentment yet he knows that she’s always been the one for him. I could feel the passion between the two. That love/hate line that just confuses the hell out of you.
“Hate and sexual tension race through my veins, as my heart longs for her. I both hate and love her.”
I also really liked the secondary characters. Each and every one of them played an important role in both Tate and Camden’s life and although there are times where they might be struggling emotionally, at the end they are all very loyal to each other and unite.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. If you are looking for a strong female lead who just happens to be a fighter and goes after what she knows she needs in her life, then this is for you!
This was nothing like I have read from this author before, going from her MC series to MMA was amazing. M.N. Forgy knows how to keep a reader on the edge of their seats. I was over the moon excited to read this story and I’m even more excited that I loved it even more. The characters are even more amazing and really great to read about. The 2 person POV was wonderful, they blended really well together and make the story that much more amazing. Nothing about this story sucked everything flowed together nothing out of place. The words on the pages are really easy to follow and make sense. The longer you read the story the more and more you want. I could go into so many details about this story, but I’m not one for giving away spoilers so this is definitely a MUST READ!!! so worth every word and turn of the page and more. Amazing, talented and really wonderful, makes your jaw drop, heart pound, edge of the seat read.
