I couldn’t believe the cliffy that book #1 left us with so I dove straight into this as soon as it appeared on my Kindle! I absolutely loved and devoured this book. Adam, well, I loved him and then hated him, then loved him again. This book is so well written and the chemistry between the characters jumps off the page. I love Adam and Sarah together but their journey hasn’t been easy at all. I have been on a rollercoaster of emotions with this book but it was so worth it. This is a duet not to be missed. It will definitely tug on your heart strings! When I finished this book I didn’t have any words, I loved it all A 5 read and a book that I couldn’t put down! #lovestruck
Ah The other part of Hate Struck!!! This book tore at my heart so badly. But it also made me want to enter my kindle and just beat the crap out if Adam and a couple of others!! And I was so surprised at how some things come to light. Like how some people could be so callous and petty. I mean I know that they are out there but to know that even though this is actually a work of fiction that it really could be based off of real life and that’s the really really sad part of this entire story. But the upside is that even in the worst of times that you can pull through. You can see how strong you are. And that your life can turn out to be beautiful even if you had to suffer through some ugly. Not to ever give up fighting. And I love that because everyone needs to be reminded of that every once in a while. I highly highly recommend this book!!! Although do pay attention to the trigger warnings. – By Tina
The first thing I want to say is I hated giving this second book a three-star. I LOVED the first book Hate Struck so much. So I was so ready to read this one especially after the ending of the first one.
Well, that is not what I felt was happening. I had to keep reminding myself that these are high schoolers and that they have those weird emotions. I also couldn’t figure out why after all these years and after everything that Adam’s father has done to him why he would 1. give him another chance 2. believe him over Sarah and 3. allow that kind of drama in his life.
Sarah is a strong girl and after everything, she has gone through to try to keep working things out with Adam when he wants a relationship with the man that raped her is beyond me. I get that Adam didn’t do it to her, but why put yourself in that position?
So ya there is just too much going on in this final book that I couldn’t go with.
