A Curvy Meets Cowboy RomanceTyOn Saturday nights, I watch over my bar and question my life choices. At least, I did before River walked in.It ain’t her sweet smile that catches me.Ain’t her cute little wave or the fact that she let me sneak her into my office for some fun.It ain’t that she doesn’t know a lick about my past. It’s all of those things and more. River is curious about everything. She’s … doesn’t know a lick about my past.
It’s all of those things and more.
River is curious about everything. She’s a sweet, sexy, curvy breath of fresh air, even if she’s hiding a wound she won’t talk about. I figure she might open up if I give her a reason to trust me. And what woman can resist roses and a fishing trip?
River
A few months ago, a moment of impulsivity cost me everything: my job, my apartment, and my faith in strangers.
Yet, it doesn’t take more than a single song for me to fall for the mysterious cowboy staring at me in this honky-tonk.
He’s got a way of making me feel like myself again… Of making me feel good in all the right ways.
Ty is the strongest, hunkiest, most protective man I’ve ever met… And he lets me eat barbecue in his hot tub. With him, I can see a future I thought I’d lost. I just have to open my heart enough to tell him my secrets.
Short enough to read in one sitting and long enough to satisfy, this trope-tastic, over-the-top little dual POV, standalone micro-romance is sweet, steamy, and full of old-fashioned cowboy nobility and goodness. The love is insta, and the ending is HEA guaranteed. *Note: the stories in this series are shorter and spicier than those in the Real Good Men of Oklahoma series.*

Ty was a famous guitarist and composer who hates people getting at him because of what he is.
River was a teacher until a video of a mud fight went viral and lost her job.
I like how they feel together and the anticipation. Short, easy to read and enjoyable.

I loved this story. River and Ty were so great together and I loved that when they met River didn’t know who Ty was. I am glad that River was able to teach again.

The Cowboy and the Kindergarten teacher
River is home, hiding out at he momma’s house after a very embarrassing and public video cost her first real job of 8 months teaching Kindergarten. Two friends from high school take her out and they end up at a cowboy bar in the middle of no where. Her friends, who aren’t really her friends any more are drunk and high, and she would rather be home. The only high point is she seemed to catch the eye of a handsome cowboy and the live bad playing the country songs that suck her in and and bring tears to her eyes.
Ty Henson can’t take his eyes off the curvy young women who came into his bar with the trouble making son of one of his best friends. The tears at his song and her clearly making a move to where they first saw each other has him making his move. River and Ty are pulled together like magnets, their difference in age meaningless.
Their first real date, is breakfast and fishing. The next BBQ and his hot tub. Secrets shared. Knowing you found your soul mate. Great ending to wrap up their story.
Sweet and steamy older man, younger women romance. Loved Ty and River.
Daisy Gold books are an automatic buy for me, I know I will get a great story.

In this book we meet River Davis and Tyler “Ty” Henson. River is down on her luck and has had to move home. She didn’t want to but with no job and no money there is only one place left to go home to mom. Mom is determined not to let her little girl just sit home and mope so she all but pushes her out with people who used to be her friend. They take her to this bar that she has never been to the in the past. One look at the rafters and she has found someone she wants to know better not the person she is there with. Ty can’t believe he just saw a vision walk into his bar. He normally just stays to the shadows and doesn’t interact with anyone including the women. This woman though is different and he is determined to know why. Can these two find a HEA or when they realize who each other are will they run for the hills?
This is another amazing story by this author. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t want to ruin the story for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
“I think you just leapfrogged into my favorite-person position.”
Love & River Songs is the second book in the Real Good Men of Arkansas series and it about Ty and River. River Davis is twenty-four years old and has been forced to move back home to her mother’s in Allenville, Arkansas. She was a kindergarten teacher for a private school in Little Rock but was fired for breaching the morals clause. It seems that Little Rock can be a little expensive to live so one night when she was out having some drinks with girlfriends she made a bad decision that someone filmed and them it ended up all over the web, plus whoever posted it tagged her school. Well living at mom’s can be crowded especially when your Aunt Karen has also moved in after recently breaking up with her latest boyfriend. Her mother is supportive and loving and her aunt eats men like chocolate, gravy and biscuits. What a family of great woman!
So one night after her mother let Maddie’s, a childhood friend, mother know she was back in town she was pushed out of the house and into the waiting muddin truck of Brayden Baylor, Maddie’s boyfriend and another friend who she aptly named the Atkins octopus. They drive into the middle of nowhere and end up in a secret valley at Henson’s Hideaway, a redneck castle. At HH the “welcome” sign says – No guns, knives, meth, minors or cell phones. Violators will be banned. Enter at own risk. So you just know what type of an evening you are in for………..fun!!!!
After they enter the building she sees a stage with a couple playing and singing, a dance floor, bar and tables. They take a table and she feels someone watching her but when she looks around no one is there. But when River looks up she sees a cowboy leaning against the railing of a catwalk over head. His face is hidden by the darkness and the brim of his hat but his gaze is a tangible thing. So she smiles and gives him a little wave of her fingers which makes the corner of his lips start to quirk up and it is electric.
Tyler Henson is a guitar player and was a member of the Jack Banner Band for fifteen years. He also wrote a number of songs and has made enough money to own two houses, Henson’s Hideaway, a fishing boat and money in the bank for the rest of his life. He is wary of people as his experiences in the industry made him learn that not everyone likes you for you as some want your fame, money, connections or other things. Ty is watching the door when the sees Brayden enter with a couple other people, including a beautiful and curvy young woman that he is immediately attracted to. All he can think is that she is an angel.
Thus starts the sweet, romantic and sexy story of Tyler and River. I really loved River as even though she has been kicked and is down she is still open to going with her feelings. When the time comes she will “throw down” and watch out as there will be coleslaw and BBQ flying. Ty likes River immediately. Part of that is the fact that she does not know who he is so he knows she likes him for himself. But he also likes her spunk and is more than turned on when she really lets loose and stands up for herself. But at the end of the day it is the fact that Ty lets River eat messy BBQ, fries and slaw all while sitting in his hot tub………….and he would let her do it forever as long as he is with her. This is a great book that is well written, funny, interesting, engaging, romantic, entertaining and of course very sizzling hot and sexy!!! A definite recommend read by me to others.
A fastpaced quick read filled with emotions and intriguing characters.

Perfect length for a short read where you can escape. Both running from pasts, River and Ty end up finding exactly what they need. I read this in one sitting and it just the right amount of sweetness and steam.

River meets Ty in a bar, which he owns. They’re extremely attracted to each other. He used to play in a band, and wrote many of their songs. She doesn’t know that, because she’s so much younger, and she listens to different music. I just loved when River gave it to Brayden for ruining her career. She must have really hated him if she was willing to waste perfectly good coleslaw and barbecue sauce. These two are wonderful together, and am glad to see their happily ever after. I love these guys that the author has dreamed up for us, and Ty is no exception. I have roots in Oklahoma, but these Arkansas men are just as sexy as their Oklahoma counterparts. Looking forward to the next book.

River is at a bar and sees a cowboy on the catwalk and waves at him. She gets tired of the guy her friends set her up with and heads to the bathroom. When she comes out she bumps into the “cowboy.” She and Ty introduce themselves and the connection they both feel is so sweet and sexy. I really enjoyed reading this story by Daisy Gold. She writes heartfelt and loving stories. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is one of those insta love stories with River and Ty. Ty is the bar owner with a famous life in the music world one that River knows nothing about but he sure likes this older sexy cowboy. Ty is head over heals at first glance at the curvy sexy River and he knows she is the one for him. Enjoyed their story and all the hot sexy times they share.
A short, sweet read about a curvy young woman named River who meets a handsome, rugged older man named Ty. These two characters were so well suited, despite the gap in their ages, that this could not have been written any better. Thank you for sharing those men from Arkansas with us, Ms. Gold.

When River agrees to go out with an old friend she never expected the drama to unfold. She sure is happy to meet an amazing and handsome man of few words.
Ty can’t believe the beautiful woman who waved to him shyly. Something about her makes him want to know more but he soon discovers she’s been the one he’s waiting for.

Awesome short story about a star and a young lady! This is about Ty and River. The story starts off with River being invited to a club, but they have strict rules which include no cell phones. She goes in as her so-called friend set her up with one that wanted to be too handsy… Once she is in she notices this older cowboy standing looking down, when he sees her she gives him a little wave only to be told by her friends boyfriend not to bother as he looks for someone much better than her. She ignores his comment and excuses herself to the ladies’ room only to take a detour and the older man finds her. Ty played in a well-known band, but of course she is not much interested as this is not her music, so she doesn’t know who he is. Ty convinces her to come to his office after she spills her beer on her to chat and change into another shirt. Well things take off but of course they are interrupted. He does nice things for her but not because he just wants her in his bed, but because he is very attracted to her.
This is a cute short story but if you love the older man/younger woman romances then this is a good one!

River wants to be incognito. Ty wants to be unknown when it comes to meeting people. He is famous no matter how long ago it was but River has been so incognito doesn’t know who he is. Famous guitar player, songwriter or bar owner, take your pick. She knows nothing about this man. She has made a bad decision about getting in a truck with those who are intoxicated from her high school days. Entering the bar she sees Tyler on the cat walk and gives a little wave. From then on both haven been unknown and incognito but seem to have found each other. The question of his OCD on cleanliness versus her obsession with barbecue is interesting . And it fits to see who comes Out on top literally and physically. No cliffhanger

River is back home after being fired from her teacher job. When she meets up with old friends to go out she never expected to meet hot older man Ty who owns the bar she goes to! Ty takes one look at River and is instantly attracted to her, he is going to make her his! Only Ty is keeping a secret about who he really is, but it’s nice to finally find someone who likes him for him and not his money! Can River forgive him? Great book that I would highly recommend!
