The first book in the Love Me Series series that was one messed up woman what rotten parents she had. Cash is there for Abigail “Abby”, but see something and runs but Cash had nothing to do with it. I enjoyed seeing this story come together and glad she finally could see what she had to do. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Jaime Russell; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.

Abby comes from an abusive family and has always had problems with her self worth. She loved gaming and had met Cash through it. Cash loved BBW. He had always thought he would never commit to any woman. But since Abby and him had started texting and now talking he wanted to meet her because he was falling for her. But Cash would have to to fight the demons from her past before they could get their future. Great story

Can you fall in love with someone you’ve never met? Someone you know from playing a computer game? Someone you’ve talked to on the phone but never seen? Not even a picture? This is such a nice book. I love Abby and Cash, and how they met. They both have issues from their pasts – her abusive upbringing is just heartbreaking, and is life spiraled out of control for a while after his parents died – and they work hard to try to overcome everything. I love Abby’s unique relationship with Max, her adopted brother, and how the two of them have forged their own little family with her best friend Sarah. It was the sweetest thing ever when Max and Sarah, along with Rob and Aaron, conspire to ensure that she and Cash meet in person. Cash’s sister Sally seems to run hot and cold, but most of the time, she’s bossy and demanding, and not at all nice to Abby. It’s hard to like her most of the time. This book is long, longer than I expected based on other books from this author. At time, I felt like I’d been reading forever. The story moves along and doesn’t drag at all, it’s just long. Overall, this was a really nice book to read, and I’m looking to the rest of this series.

Abby and Cash’s book was a good interesting read and I will admit this is the first time I have read a story where the characters had met through World of Warcraft. This was a good book and there was plenty of heat but I have to admit there were times I wanted to shake Abby she was very childish a times, overall I did like the book
This is quite long & drawn out at times but if you like a girl that has body issues, brought on my her family, & an H who loves her curves, then you’ll enjoy this.
Cash & Abby meet gaming but not yet in real life. Through her friends the couple find a way to the other in his family owned hotel.
A lot family issues are at play here with this couple. I found Sally, Cashs sister, annoying. A bit overdone at times. Abby’s parent were horrible & more will come out later but I wasn’t happy how that was dealt with. The truth came out but it seemed secondary in this. Like I’ll add this in for effect.
It was just too much at times with all the inner dialogues, some unnecessary to me & others a bit repetitious & childish.
Maybe a bit of an edit here & there would help condense this.

Abby has a self-esteem problem. Possibly because her parents, especially her father, called her names her entire life. That kind of abuse makes it hard to believe that someone could love you for who you are. Her other siblings were not abused, only Abby. Now even though she has her brother and friend, she finds love thru gaming. With Cash, she can just be herself. When they finally meet, it’s an uphill battle to get through her inner demons to see what he sees. Triggers for some.

Very first book from new Author. I love the realistic characters, no cookie cutter hero or heroine here as both are flawed with quirky and damaged friends helping them along the way.
