I’m a small town myself, so I have a soft spot for small town romance stories! Lauren & Rick have tons of chemistry. I was rooting for them from the start. The author includes some fun humor in the right spots too! i’ll definitely be reading other books by her.

Read Stay With Me, Julie first, for a better understanding of this book. Julia’s best friend and business partner, Lauren, has commitmentphobia. She heads to Idaho to visit Julia and her fiance Luke, where she meets Rick. Rick wants to move to Idaho to open a microbrewery, raise his daughter, and try to repair his friendship with Luke. Rick’s been a big-time womanizer, love ’em and leave ’em type – he had an affair with Luke’s ex-wife Renee when Luke and Renee were still married, and has custody of their daughter.
Luke and Julia still have a lot going on. She finally agreed a wedding date, so plans are moving forward. Luke’s children have been with him all summer, with Renee in rehab. And Renee is hell-bent on making Julie miserable, blaming Julia for the breakup of Renee’s marriage to Luke.
This book was a continuation of the first one, and I am thoroughly enjoying the love stories coming from this small town. I’m looking forward to the story of Luke and Julia’s wedding, and hope that there are more books in this series.

Love Me, Lauren is the second book in the Faithful Falls series a well written story that kept me turning pages. These books should be read in order as Luke and Julia from the first book are part of this book. There is drama, twists, turns, stabbing, and romance. I know when this series is finished I want to read them all again. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I really enjoyed this one. Lauren had me in stitches from the first chapter. Her smart mouth and blunt honesty killed me. I loved her instant connection with Rick and how their relationship developed. I did want to shake some sense into her at points, but you’ve got to love a character with flaws. I don’t want to post any spoilers but I’m very happy two character’s have made up and become friends again. And I’m glad we got to see more of Julia and Luke. Especially as even though we got their happy for now in the last book, there are still bumps in the road and the path to true love will never run smoothly. Looking forward to the next one, especially as we got a few hints about it in this one!
*Thank you to the author for gifting me a copy of this book. This is my honest review.
