He has trouble written all over him. From his dark brown eyes and cocky smile to the leather jacket and ripped jeans, I know exactly what kind of guy he is.The tempting bad boy comes out of nowhere and makes me question everything… and everyone. He marks people’s skin for a living, but what he doesn’t know is he’s already tattooed his way onto my heart. I don’t need ink for a permanent reminder … for a permanent reminder of him, but I’d do almost anything for his touch.
Readers are in love with this angsty and emotional story.
“This was so good I was drawn to both characters and their journey to find the path they are supposed to be on. Grab this story, grab some tissue and maybe a class of wine because you will probably read this in one sitting.” ~ Sam C

RayneVaughn! I Loved the Story & Narration
Love, Me
A Pleasant Valley Novel
By: Anna Brooks
Narrated by: J. F. Harding, Bunny Warren
This is such a great story, I enjoyed every word of it. I love Anna Brooks’ writing style and what she creates, the storylines and the characters. They are realistic, relatable and contain a lot of heart. “Love, Me” it is part of her “Pleasant Valley” series but stands on it’s own. We heard of Vaughn in an earlier book, learned of his mad tattoo skills, that he is one of the best tattoo artists in the area and there is a wait list to get an appointment. He opens his shop right next to Rayne’s family sandwich business. He comes in while Rayne was working the counter and there is an instant attraction between them. But she is pining for someone else and she fights that attraction and pushes Vaughn away. I loved the chemistry between those two. Turns out the two have mutual friends too, her best friend Kennedy and his cousin Brad are engaged. BTW, I just loved those two, especially Kennedy. A lot goes in Rayne and Vaughn’s story, drama, angst, twists as well as romance. I felt bad for Rayne and what she was going thru with Bryan. But my heart really goes out to Vaughn and what he had to go thru growing up. Each of them have their own heartbreaks and demons and once all is revealed healing can begin. Guilt can be a cruel b*tch, even when misplaced. Only getting past it can set you free. Anna Brooks thank you for that anther great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, J.F. Harding and Bunny Warren are awesome narrators and voice performers. They bring the characters to life, give each their own voice and personality. I just loved J.F. Harding’s Vaughn, his swoon worthiness and his attitude were perfect. Bunny Warren’s Rayne was great too. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen

The Pleasant Valley Series is three books 1 by Anna Brooks. Each is better than the last. Each of these stories are unique in their own written way and are just remarkable stories: Three full-length romances filled swoon-worthy alphas and nail-biting suspense.
First book is Fixing Fate. The Carpenter and the friend’s little sister. This story took me by surprise, just when I thought I figured it out, there were some pretty unseen surprises that were thrown at you.
Second book is Love me. The tattooed tattoo artist and the sandwich shop cook. Couldn’t be two more opposite attracts with these two. The emotional, letting go and trying to find that bit of happiness was never so sweet for these two.
Book Three in the series is Steady. Now since book 1 I was dying for more Erik and book 3 is finally when we get to meet up with him again.
Like I said each story is unique in its own way, and as they each standalones, reading them straight three together is so much more feeling to each couple throughout.
Love me, A Pleasant Valley Novel is a sentiment charged novel stemming from two individuals past. Love is electrifying with chemistry between Rayne and Vaughn instantly connecting. Character’s evolve with time and blossom conscientiously. Supporting character’s roles are validated. With a cameo appearance from previous book characters in the series that create a lineage of their own. A suspenseful twist seeps through the pages of this agonizing suffused audiobook. With a happily ever after
to end this romance.
Narator Bunny Warren has a sweet voice with just the right zeal. JF Harding puts it all in with his passion into creating the right voice for the character.
