What to expect when you’re not expecting love… father. Everyone in town might be eager for him to settle down, but he’s in no hurry. When he meets beautiful, independent Charlotte, he thinks he’s found a kindred spirit.
They say opposites attract, and Adam and Charlotte are the biggest opposites in Good Hope. Despite their differences Adam’s easy smile, strong arms and sizzling good looks prove impossible to resist. It’s all fun and games until they share an amazing night that leaves Charlotte breathless…and pregnant.

Another amazing story for the Good Hope series that I love. Charlotte and Adam are great characters and their story is a loving, romantic and sweet one. I felt a little frustrated sometimes with the characters but it’s all parte of the story of course and Madam Gitana needs to make more appearances I want to read more predictions from her. As always I love this book and enjoy reading it. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it.
I love returning to Good Hope. The whole feeling of community, friendship, family, and support is really uplifting. Who knew that Charlotte’s surprising change in plans would affect so many people?
This book can be read as a standalone with no problem. I have read the previous books, and I vaguely remember both Charlotte and Adam’s characters. They were not together, but that’s all I remember. This fact took nothing away from the enjoyment of the book.
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like Charlotte at first. I’m all honesty, she had to grow on me. I liked that Adam was was so insistent. I liked Adam from the beginning. That is not to say he didn’t have his moment of reacting before thinking about the situation. I like that there is not a lot of angst in the Good Hope series. It does often touch on real life situations.
Adam and Charlotte’s journey is interesting as I got to watch both of them open their hearts and minds to a completely new experience in their lives. This was romantic, sweet, full of family, and opening up to friendships. All resulting in an HEA for Adam and Charlotte.

This is another great book! This really focused on Charlotte’s need to control everything and raise her child without interference from a man, to Adam’s need to participate in his child’s life. She had uncaring parents that left her determined to give her child the best ALONE, and his mother loved him but was flakey and divorced his step-father when he was 18, and Adam stayed with the step-dad! That really gave him a sense of needing a father in a child’s life. Many ups and downs, some steam and a happily ever after. Pretty wholesome aside from a couple of steamy parts.

The Love Bug has Bitten!
Gladys & her crew are matchmaking again (or is it fate?)! It’s been awhile since we’ve seen Charlotte in Good Hope, but she’s decided to move back and go into business with Marigold.
We find out Charlotte is divorced, over 40 (gasp) & pursuing IVF.
Upon her return to Good Hope, Charlotte runs into Adam & we quickly learn they had a one-night stand a few years ago. The past repeats itself & we see fate repeatedly have Charlotte & Adam run into each other time & time again over the following days & weeks.
And baby makes…
Despite her attempts to push him away, Charlotte & Adam agree to give some sort of relationship a try. Adam doesn’t want his child to grow up without a biological father like he did and all of the questions that have surrounded that fact his whole life.
Charlotte learns times change, dreams change & people change. She finds her heart opening up to the idea of truly having this baby with Adam.
Will Charlotte & Adam find their Happy Ever After as a man from Charlotte’s past makes a reappearance?
A few of my other loves about this book: the relationship cards return (I love that these make an appearance throughout the series), I fell in love with Stan and then Molly…..because who doesn’t love a good dog

I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it. I love the books in the Good Hope Series. While Adam and Charlotte’s relationship wasn’t something either of them were interested in, it’s a sweet love story. Can’t wait for the next book in this series. Lots of unanswered questions about Piper in this book.
This is the 14th book in the Good Hope series and we are beyond the Bloom family and Bloom family adjacent folk and are now into the stories of the various town folk of Good Hope. Charlotte McCray had lived in Good Hope previously and had hooked up with local organic farmer Adam Vogele. She is now back in town starting a new Salon with Marigold Bloom. After another one night stand with Adam, she finds herself pregnant. Now she has to navigate her desire to be independent and her increasing attraction to Adam. Overall this is an enjoyable installment in the series. The only thing that kept this from being a five star review was Charlotte. I had a real had time warming up to her and I was about 60% in before my feelings about her changed. Adam, however, was a great character and he made waiting for Charlotte’s changes worthwhile. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.

I love the good hope series and this book has continued that. Adam and Charlotte have been mentioned in previous books and I never pictured them together. However Cindy brought them together so well and even though they seem so different in the end they just matched so well.
I loved that the cards where back in and Glady got involved as always. I loved the Bloom sisters being in and getting more information on them. I am looking forward to Piper book as I am not sure who her love interest is and I want to know more of her story!
I love visiting Good Hope and catching up with all the characters while getting to know the couple featured in the current book. I loved Adam from the start, his easy-going charm and love for his father and his work. I didn’t like Charlotte much at first; I wanted to shake her and tell her that Adam was nothing like her awful ex-husband. But Adam’s quiet presence eventually wore her down and in the end saw that them being together was a good thing. A heartfelt story with a very satisfying ending.

To be honest I wasn’t sure what to think of Charlotte when she was first introduced in our last trip to Good Hope as Marigold’s new business partner. I found myself feeling the same way about her as I did about Eliza. Charlotte is a tough no nonsense woman who knows what she wants and right now a man is not in the equation. But after a chance encounter with an old flame things start to heat up again. What was supposed to be just one night of fun will lead to something that will have Charlotte asking herself what she really wants. Could that small spark lead to a full fedge flame or made even a fire?
Adam is light and fun and so different from everything Charlotte is. He has found his home in Good Hope and found a family that he loves. While the feelings he has for Charlotte are growing he is not quite sure if she feels the same way.
Things heat up and time moves forward Charlotte is forced to really think of what she wants and when the opportunity of a lifetime comes along that could take her away from Good Hope again will Adam and their future be enough to make Charlotte rethink what her idea of a happily ever after really is.
Just as Eliza became a fully round character with so much more depth in “Say I Do in Good Hope”, so does Charlotte in Love Lessons in Good Hope. I really enjoyed this story. Take another trip to Good Hope and be ready for some great characters and lots of charm. I received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily reviewing it
This was another great installment to the best romance series ever created! At first, I couldn’t stand Charlotte. She was selfish, and a little mean. She wouldn’t let anyone close enough to give her a different view of things. Then, she bumped into Adam. And, love changed her into a character that I admired, one that knew what true success looked like. I love second chance romances and feel that this is a great representation of it. Can we learn from our pasts, and truly open our hearts and love again? Good Hope is a town that has so many things that the real world needs, such as the idea of neighbors helping neighbors. In this time, we need to stand up for each other and show more compassion.
I received an advanced reader’s copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
