When Natalie meets Easton she knows who he is, her father’s enemy. Easton thinks she’s just the new English teacher. They have to help together to organize the Christmas ball together. When attraction grows it’s even more difficult to come clear. What will happen when he finds out or her father…?
Sweet fun story.
This story is so sweet and beautiful!! Natalie moves back to her small town to help her father and leave the town that reminds her of her ex. Easton is a local rancher and the football coach with a bad history with her dad. They meet and connect but have to find their way from friendship to relationship. Their story is so beautiful!! I love the last of the whole book; it’s beautiful!

Natalie and Ethan are totally made for each other but she is holding on to a secret that she knows she shouldn’t but you totally get why she is and as you watch them fall for each other even though Natalie tries not to you hope things work out. I loved the pull they have towards each other and how Ethan woos her not knowing she knows a bit about the town from having grown up there until leaving at a young age, but you just know it will come out and not in the right way. This is the perfect read with some love, hardship, family, laughs as well as a sweet love story that has you smiling at the end.

This a well written and fast paced story that captivated me from the start. The storyline is entertaining and action packed. The characters are wonderful. Can not wait for the next book in this series.

This was a beautiful and heartwarming story. Natalie has had a tough time of it, losing her grandmother and going through a divorce, she’s not sure whether she’ll be able to move forward and go on. Easton has also been dealt a tough blow, suffering from an injury that ended his career. Both are complete opposites but they also have a strong attraction to each other. Easton is also her father’s sworn enemy. When they meet, she knows who he is but he doesn’t know exactly who she is. A good dose of understanding and forgiveness are in order once Easton finds out! This was a sweet and heartwarming story that was fun to read and I enjoyed it very much. I would most certainly recommend!

Natalie was foolish to judge Easton for her drunken father losing his job. She should have been open about who she really was especially when she got closer to him. If I were Easton I would have questioned why she was so evasive about so many things. She came back to Coldwater Creek after her grandmother died to get away from her ex and to help her father out. It seemed like he needed rehab if he wasn’t going to stop drinking despite being told repeatedly that it could destroy his liver and kill him. Natalie has her teaching job and is taking care of his horses. I loved hearing about the high school plays and wish I had participated in those even if it was just as one of the background characters. Easton’s teenage matchmaker sister Molly was a riot. It was good to catch up with Walker and Lauren from Love in A Blizzard. I’m looking forward to the rest of the McBride romances.
The book is a good sweet small town holiday romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. The story is an enjoyable sweet romance read.

She hides her connection to her dad from Easton while trying to learn the type of man Easton is. Is he the nice guy he seems to be or is he really the villain her dad says he is?
How long can her connection to her dad be kept a secret in such a small town?
Natalie and Easton are such a cute couple! They might be the proof that opposites attract, but they seem like the cute couple that every town has, that you just have to like, despite their perfect cuteness.
I love the small-town feel of this story and the believability of their farming/ranching family work ethic.
Romance at its finest for its simplicity.
I received this story as an ARC and am giving a voluntary review.
You know things are not going to go smoothly when Natalie has to hide her interest in Easton from her father and her last name from Easton. Britney M. Mills brings a tale of forgiveness and understanding. I enjoyed this story.
