Love In Santa Lena: The Complete Collection by Jessa York is a great boxed set. All four books are fantastic! The review for each book is included here.
Falling for Jack
A great debut story by Jessa York containing romance, drama, humour, suspense and passion.
I enjoyed Harper and Jack’s story so far. They both carry lots of previous relationship baggage but we don’t learn much about Jack’s until the very end (although it was pretty clear to me what it was!). Harper has so many insecurities but with good reason having found her cheating husband with her cousin. Jack slowly shows her how to live and love again even though he is just as scared to get involved with someone new.
Harper’s friends and colleagues really add to the story and one of them is a bit mysterious so I’m looking forward to find out what that’s about.
I’m really excited to see what happens next. Especially after that HUGE cliffhanger ending!
Convincing Harper
I really enjoyed getting to Jack and Harper’s happily ever after! Especially after the cliff hanger of the first book! They had such sizzling chemistry but needed to overcome their pasts and be completely honest with each other. I loved these two together and hopefully we get more of them in future books in the series.
The secondary characters in the story were so much fun! Roza, Riley and Audrey certainly kept things entertaining. I definitely need more of Riley’s story though, a tease in the first book and a little bit more in this one but I really need to know what’s going on with her.
This was a fun and sexy story, filled with plenty of humour, a little drama and even some action, this story had it all!
Waiting on Jason
I loved this book with Vivienne and Jason’s story even more than the first 2 books!
Jason and Vivienne fall hard and fast for each other, at least after that first night when it didn’t look like there would be another night to Jason’s disappointment. They are at completely different places in their lives. Jason is struggling, barely paying his bills, using a car for his driveshare business that is close to falling apart. Vivienne is established in her career with money in the bank and ready to start her family. Plus there is a 12-year age difference that is constantly at the back of Vivienne’s mind.
I loved seeing the rest of the crazy gang swooping in to help when they hit bumps (or boulders!) in their relationship. Plus we get to know more about Vivienne’s boss, Dean, and I really enjoyed this part of the story. And that epilogue, wow!
Healed by Chelsea
Dean and Chelsea’s story was sweet and sexy with a little bit of suspense thrown in. They both have tragic pasts that have shaped who they are and prevented them from moving on with their lives. Until they met! I was really happy for Dean to find Chelsea when he definitely wasn’t looking but couldn’t deny their chemistry. Their journey was bumpy and side-tracked by not communicating but in the end they’re able to figure it out and then some!
I enjoyed getting more about some of the previous characters and also a glimpse into stories to come and I look forward to whoever comes next.

Love In Santa Lena: The Complete Collection is a box set of all four books in the Santa Lena series by Jessa York. I have read all four of these books and reviewed them in depth individually. I loved every one of them.
Falling For Jack
This is the story of Jack McCallister, a sexy, overworked restaurant owner, and Harper, a woman who has been badly hurt in the past. Harper literally falls into Jack’s life and he’s immediately smitten. Jack is patient and determined and he’ll do whatever it takes to win his woman.
Convincing Harper
This is the second half of Jack and Harper’s story. Jack has kept a secret from Harper, a big one. Harper has fallen for Jack but once again, she is reminded why she can’t trust men. Jack has a hard road ahead of him in proving himself to Harper. Because he needs her in his life, and he’ll do whatever it takes to prove he’s the man for her.
Waiting On Jason
This is Vivienne and Jason’s story. Vivienne has always dreamed of the perfect man and a house full of children. She has the house, but lives there alone. Now her biological clock is running out. She’s given up on finding the right man. But a one night stand with a man who she can’t get off her mind, might prove her wrong.
Healed by Chelsea
This was such a beautiful book. This is Dean McCallister and Chelsea Daye’s story. Dean had the love of his life and lost her. Now he is the one lost in his grief. Chelsea is fifteen years younger than Dean, but has also suffered loss in her life. So she understands how he feels. Is there room in Dean’s life for Chelsea? Can he finally let go of his ghosts?
I loved every one of these books. The characters are all connected and support one another. They are zany and fun, flawed, sweet and loyal. This box set is the perfect way to get to know this crazy bunch. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Jessa York’s debut series Santa Lena is amazing and I loved all the characters in this series.
It’s full of strong, loyal women and Sexy, panty melting men.
Harper, Riley, Audrey, Roza and Vivienne can find all kinds of trouble to get into when they are together, but they are always there for each other when the times get tough. They will do anything to make sure that each of them are alright and happy. I loved Roza and her little stories about the old country. She cracks me up with her bluntness and tough act.
The men in this series all have these amazing stories. They are heartbreaking and heartwarming. These men are HOTTT. They love with everything in them and are swoon worthy. These men could melt the panties off a nun.
Jessa York is an amazing new author with a real talent for writing and I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us. If you haven’t read this yet you are truly missing out. So what are you waiting for Click that button.

Falling For Jack:
Oh my gawd, I absolutely loved, Loved, LOVED this book!
I loved both of these characters individually and together. Harper is a bit insecure but has every reason to be but as Jack helps her to see herself through his eyes she begins to grow in confidence. We don’t know much about Jack’s past at this point but we are very aware that he’s totally into Harper and all her crazy and wacky ways.
This was such a cute, fun and romantic read! It is well written and fast paced with an awesome hero and heroine. And Lord, the secondary characters are to die for! There isn’t a moment of boredom or place where you’ll want to skim. Nothing gets bogged down here as the characters are constantly moving, the relationship always evolving. This is quite literally one of the very best romantic comedies I’ve read in a very, very long time!
P.S. Did I mention that I loved this book???
Convincing Harper:
Holy Wow!!! I loved this book!
This story picks up right where book one ends. It’s full of fun, flirty goodness that just about made my heart explode with the happiness this couple found.
This was a great conclusion to a wonderful story that is actually low angst and high steam. The relationship is realistic and so heartwarming that I wanted to twirl in a giddy circle for all the joy it brought. And I’m not even going to mention the little twist. Oops!
Waiting on Jason:
Oh my gawd! I am absolutely in love with Vivienne and Jason as well as the rowdy group of characters that orbit their lives.
This is a fast paced read with some intense steam and a wonderful connection between the hero and heroine. I would’ve liked to have seen a bit more of them together, and a little less of the friends but I enjoyed the friends so much I can’t really complain. There’s a nice little epilogue that is only a few months into the future but I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of these characters as there will be additional books in the series.
Healed by Chelsea:
Oh my gawd! This is definitely my favorite by this author!
Dean’s story was quite heartbreaking and if ever a hero deserved to find a happy ever after, it was him. I loved that from the moment he saw Chelsea and then heard her laughter, a part of him he didn’t even know existed came to life. Instead of fighting it, he completely embraced what being with her did to him.
This is a fast paced story that moved fluidly from one issue to another, Dean and Chelsea growing closer with each obstacle they overcame. The steam factor is quite steamy and the chemistry between this hero and heroine is sizzling and completely believable. This also has some great jealous possessive moments with the hero.
As all other books in this series, this is filled with some wonderful humor and hilarious ant

Love In Santa Lena: The Complete Collection by Jessa York is a great boxed set. All four books are fantastic! I have reviewed them individually below.
————————————————————————————————————————
Falling for Jack – *4 stars!*
Falling for Jack is a contemporary romance told in dual POV that ends with a cliffhanger. The story follows the relationship between beautiful divorcee, Harper, and sexy chef and restaurateur, Jack.
From their first chance meeting, Jack is completely smitten with Harper, but she’s got a lot of baggage from her ex-husband who treated her badly and cheated on her. Jack also has some baggage of his own, but we’re not privy to the details. He has a big secret that is revealed in the last chapter.
Not to spoil anything, I’ll just say that I really enjoyed reading this. The characters were likeable and very fun, especially the secondary ones. There was a great blend of humor with romance, mystery, drama, sexy times and some suspense. A great debut book!
—————————————————————————-
Convincing Harper – *4 stars!*
Convincing Harper is a contemporary romance told from multiple points of view. This is the continuation of Harper and Jack’s love story and picks up right in the middle of the action where the previous book ended. So book one, Falling for Jack, must be read first.
Jack and Harper both have a lot to overcome before arriving at their happy ending. From the crazy drama caused by unpredictable ex-spouses to dealing with family dysfunction, to work-related stressors, and learning to trust and communicate openly with each other. There are definitely some struggles experienced, but both Harper and Jack grow in the process and come out on the other side stronger together.
Once again, elements of romance, humor, and suspense blend beautifully in this great follow up and conclusion to book one that ties up all loose ends with some unexpected twists along the way. A fun, fast-paced read.
—————————————————————————-
Waiting on Jason – *4 stars!*
Waiting on Jason is a contemporary, age-gap romance told in dual POV. Although part of a series and we originally met Vivienne in the previous books, this can definitely be read as a standalone.
Thirty-seven-year-old, Vivienne, can feel her biological clock ticking. She has always wanted marriage and a family, but time is running out and she still hasn’t met Mr. Right. She decides to take matters into her own hands with her doctor’s help and begins to explore options of having children without the involvement a significant other.
Enter, twenty-five-year-old, rideshare driver, Jason. He was just supposed to be a one night stand – nothing more. Vivienne never expected to fall for him, and she definitely didn’t expect someone so young and sexy to be interested in something serious.
Vivienne’s convinced that he’s too young to be “the one.” But Jason has never felt such a strong connection before and he’s not willing to give up. Will they be able to overcome the obstacles caused by their age difference? You’ll have to read to find out.
I really enjoyed Vivienne and Jason’s story. They were both very likeable and relatable characters. It was also great to revisit secondary characters who brought fun and humor to the story. Actually, all the characters are fantastic and keep me wanting more!
—————————————————————————-
Healed by Chelsea – *4 stars!*
Healed by Chelsea is a contemporary, age-gap romance told in dual POV. Although part of a series where we originally met Dean in earlier books, this can be read as a standalone.
Dean lost his wife three years ago and never really recovered. He hasn’t dated since then or remotely had the desire to do so. That is until he meets Chelsea, a beautiful librarian fifteen years his junior and the niece of a business associate. They have an immediate connection and understanding of each other as Chelsea has also experienced tragedy. But in order for Dean and Chelsea to truly be together, they must overcome many obstacles – both internally and externally.
I have loved every book in this series so far, and this one was no exception. All the characters are fantastic and it is so much fun to get to know them better as they continue to reappear in each book. Full of humor, heart, romance and a touch of suspense, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Falling for Jack:
Absolutely amazing book! This book will give you all the feels and you will swoon so hard for Jack. There is so many twist that you don’t see coming and heart pumping action that will make you feel like you can’t read fast enough to see what happens. It does end on a heart stopping cliffhanger!
Convincing Harper:
WOW! What a book! You only thought you loved Jack after book 1, just wait till you continue this story in book 2. This book is such an emotional rollercoaster that you can’t get enough of. There is also some HUGE family drama in this book going on along with all the lies and deceit from book 1.
Waiting on Jason:
Great continuation of this series! This is a stand-alone but also has characters from the first two books in it. This book is an emotional rollercoaster that will have you smiling and crying. You will fall in love with swoony Jason.
Healed by Chelsea:
This story is phenominal! Dean has been through so much in his life that it will just break your heart and make you so happy that something positive is happening in his life now. Chelsea’s family has some dark secrets that come after them and will leave your heart pumping!

This was a great read. Harper suffers a horrible betrayal by her husband and cousin, but she has some amazing friends to support her. I loved Roza, Riley, Vivienne, and Audrey. I want them as my friends! Harper meets hot and sexy Jack in a cute way. She has some self esteem issues to work through. Her husband was a real jerk. I love seeing her work through them and Jack really helps. He is amazing, supportive, and most of the time understanding. There is some hilarious banter between all of the characters and when Harper is talking to herself. There is cliffhanger! I love it because it’s a biggy and I really need to hear what Jack has to say and what in the world is Gabe doing? I love it when author makes me want to read to see what happens and not read half heartedly just to finish. I definitely WANT to read Convincing Harper! Great book!
Convincing Harper is the follow-up to Falling For Jack. Another great read! We get the answers from Jack as to what was actually happening. It wasn’t right, but it all boiled down to him being scared. He owned up to it and Harper is able to work through it. There are a few hiccups along the way, but they got past them without too much drama. We are introduced to Jack’s family and his tumultuous relationship with his father which had a wonderful resolution for everyone. I really enjoyed how Brooke and Harper’s relationship changed. The kids were written so accurately and with so much heart and humor. I loved the banter between all the girls and I especially loved the banter in Harper’s head. There were some real laugh out loud moments, and as much as I read, it’s hard to make me really laugh. Jessa York was able to flawlessly weave suspense, humor, friendship and love in a story that kept my interest from beginning to end.
Waiting on Jason is an amazing addition to this series. Vivienne is a little older than her love interest, Jason, but he couldn’t care less. I love Jason, he knows what he likes and he goes for it. Vivienne is great, secure and insecure at the same time. I felt like she was the more immature of the two because of some of her actions, but I think she is used to being independent and not having to consider other people when making decisions. Vivienne really wants babies. Her clock is ticking and she feels a her time is running out. She asks Jason to help her with this. What does he decide?Jason had a rough childhood, but I really admire him for pursuing his dream. I think he wanted a family more than he thought he did, he needed stability. They had a few arguments, but they were able to work through things. I think their connection was so strong that there really wasn’t another person more suited for either of them. Again, there was some really funny moments. Jason thoughts really made me laugh times. We get to see the other characters as well. I’m very excited for Dean’s story and hopefully Riley too. The author really balances what I love most about a love story, heart, heat, humor and a touch of angst. The epilogue in Waiting On Jason is one of the sweetest I’ve read! Looking forward to more.
Healed by Chelsea
Oh my! I didn’t think the series could get any better. I was so wrong. This book was heartbreaking, heartwarming, and so hot! Dean and Chelsea are amazing. Dean has had a rough go of it, he has had tremendous loss in his life. Chelsea has also had great loss. They understand each other so well. I love how Chelsea is somewhat innocent, but knows what she wants. She’s not fake and just does what comes naturally. Dean though cautious really dives in when he sees her for the first time. I love how the author injects such personality in to every character. I can see Chelsea with “grabby” hands and Dean “storming” up to her with arms wide open for a hug. I really felt for both characters when the times got tough. I could feel Chelsea’s heart breaking when she thought he would never let go of the memories and I my heart broke for Dean having a hard time opening up to another potential hurt. There is a great surprise that helped force Dean to where he needs to be, and it was written so well. I hate it when there is blaming and over the top drama. Such a satisfying story for these two. As usual all our favorite characters are there. Audrey is still slapping her hips and the twins are wreaking havoc. I really wish I new Roza in real life! Now I am so curious about Chad/Sam and hopefully a book with Riley and Det. Stone. Don’t miss this series or this story! Amazing author, can’t wait to see what she has in store for us next!

Love In Santa Lena: The Complete Collection by Jessa York is a great boxed set. All four books are fantastic! I have reviewed them individually below.

Waiting on Jason – *4 stars!*
Waiting on Jason is a contemporary, age-gap romance told in dual POV. Although part of a series and we originally met Vivienne in the previous books, this can definitely be read as a standalone.

These are awesome books for a debut series. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Twists turns I did not see coming. But the emotiins broke my heart and slowly put it back. This is a Do Not Miss series.
I enjoyed every bit of this series. The writing drew me in off the bat, and there is something in every character that you can relate to. They’re real and engaging, and you’ll have a hard time putting the book(s) down. Also, the love is strong and the sexy sizzles!
This entire series is fantastic! The angst, the misunderstandings, the suspense, the HEAs. I truly enjoyed each couple’s story and I’m glad to see everyone in one volume to avoid that pesky moving from one ebook to the next issue. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!
Jessa York has put her four Santa Lena full length books in one set! This Series is wonderful and you want to grab it up and start on these wonderful stories today!
Falling for Jack is the first book in the set and is about a woman named Harper who is betrayed by her husband and cousin and finds support with her friends. She meets Jack and they have a lot of push and pull and lively banter. This book ends in a big cliffhanger so it’s great you have the next book right at your fingertips!
The next book is Convincing Harper. Jack and Harper continue their push and pull chemistry and Jack has some explaining to do as they work out their relationship. Great HEA.
Waiting on Jason is the third book and it is about an older Vivienne and younger Jason. She feels he is too young for her, she feels like her clock is ticking to have children. Jason knows what he wants. Another great book!
The last book is Healed by Chelsea. Dean and Chelsea both had suffered great losses and felt like they couldn’t overcome them. But together, they slowly find they can help each other. But not without some setbacks. Awesome story!
This is an amazing set full of four FIVE STAR BOOKS! How great to get them all together!
