A sexy standalone romance in the Pine Harbour series from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Zoe York. It’s time for this soldier to fight for the only woman he has ever loved. Jake Foster fell in love with Dani Minelli when she was a colt-legged high school senior. He knew he was too old to even look at her, let alone touch. But Dani’s been trying to get his attention since … attention since returning to Pine Harbour a grown woman—and Jake is all out excuses not to grab her with both hands.

Book 2 in a series. Enjoying,
This was my first book by Zoe York. It was a great introduction into a new author and her series.
Another
Dani, the only girl in both families is finally going to something about getting her man. Jake as never felt like he could give Dani enough, plus being best friends with her older brothers. Can they connect.
Just a really nice read. The characters are well-developed and it’s not an unusual plot but it works. Lots of potential for more stories with characters that we met in this book.
Una historia simpatica aunqie hubiese preferido que el no fuese tan inseguro.
One of my favorites. I read it and I read it again and again. Loved all the characters and the story.
Easy to read, interesting book. A little to predictable, great read when free.
I enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down
This was a wonderful love story you would read on a day you want to feel good. I loved the book. Although fairly predictable you can still get lost in the love story.
Good read, nice story!
A fun tale set in a small town with everyone knowing all and yet nothing. Steamy in winter and just enough drama to hold promises made kept.
Great book. It was like reading about my life way back when. Very good.
I’ve read a couple by this author. Enjoyed both. Great read!!
I loved every second of this book
Love the author. Always easy to read and interesting
Great read!
The two main characters did not resonate for me. The story was too predictable.
A standalone read with a HEA. The hero is 8 years older than the heroine. When she first falls for him age is a big problem. However, years later it is no longer a problem and she lets him know how she feels. They live in a small town, big families and although the men are all good friends there is the don’t date my sister vibe! One I have never understood but seems popular in books. However, they manage to get together but keep it a secret. The hero is a bit old for keeping secrets and he wants to be out in the open about the way they feel for each other. There is a bit of drama before these two find their HEA. I really enjoyed this story and I definitely recommend it.
I was not paid for this review. I am not a writer nor do I know one. I am not kin to this author. I am a reader and this is my opinion, nothing more, nothing less. 8/9/18
Average story, well written quick read.
Enjoyable Read.
