OAKLAND HILLS ROMANCE, BOOK #1
When a couch potato inherits a fitnesswear company in San Francisco, sparks fly with her arrogant, Olympic medalist vice president.
The world of fitness apparel isn’t ready for Beverly Lewis. She hates the gym, is nice to everybody, and shops at Ross Dress for Less. When she’s not teaching preschool, she’s wearing yoga pants… to nap in. So when she inherits her … So when she inherits her estranged grandfather’s fitnesswear company in San Francisco, nobody expects her to keep it. Fite Fitness needs a heartless suit to save it from bankruptcy, not a thirty-year-old woman who cries when her students leave for kindergarten.
Someone like Liam Johnson. A former Olympic swimmer, Liam is Fite’s executive vice president. Unlike Bev, he’s devoted his life to Fite’s success. Managing one little preschool teacher — and his attraction to her — shouldn’t be an issue. Right?
But Bev’s tired of being underpaid and underrated, and refuses to step aside as an obedient figurehead. To everyone’s shock and horror, she moves up to San Francisco, sets up an office, and dives into the business. Nothing — not mockery, not exercise, not sabotage, not a disastrously hot night with her aggravating VP — is going to scare her away.
As Liam realizes she’s tougher than she looks, he discovers that losing Fite might not be nearly as bad as losing her…
A story about the pursuit of love, happiness, and the perfect yoga pants, Love Handles will speak to anyone who’s ever had to face what scares her most.
Warning: contains at least two loves scenes and a happy ending.

A good book in some places did find it long winded.
Would you pick a new career even when basically forced on you? Bev finds out if she can hack the world of adults even when she has been in little people’s world for so long. Grab a drink get comfy and enjoy a good read.
3.5 This book was a fun ride. The protagonists were interesting and the story made me smile. Partly because I liked it and partly because it was outrageous. There was quite a group of characters to get to know, and whether you like or hated them they were unique. Great book for a light read.
Beverly is a preschool teacher with a crazy family who fight all the time. Her weird grandfather left her his fitness business so it would stay in the family. He had wanted her to marry his protégée, Liam. Liam is a former swimming star and marrying him would both keep the business in the family and let Liam run it. She and Liam fight their …
I found it a little slow in the beginning but glad I stuck with it!
It was a good book.
This was such a great book, there were many times when I laughed out loud after the main characters go at each other and how to interact with each other.
This is a great book, if you need a good laugh and want to smile.
FITE TO INHERIT
What do a thirty year old former preschool teacher and a hunky former Olympic swimmer have in common? A company named Fite Fitness. When Beverley Lewis inherits her grandfather’s San Francisco exercise wear company, she knows nothing about running the business. Liam Johnson, the executive VP, isn’t going to let an inexperienced …
I like all of the books in this series . I like how the characters reappear in other books.
This is a light romance leaning toward chick-lit. The supporting cast was broad and interesting, the writing of generally good quality, with only a couple of typos and one spot where the protagonist’s eyes went from blue to brown and back again.
Admittedly, I didn’t find the romance as compelling as the parts where they were actually focusing on …
I was reading this at my desk. I just couldn’t put it down. At no point was i bored, i got hooked right away. Love love love!
The book was good, the story was fast paced.
Ok.
Writing was difficult to follow at times, who was speaking, poor flow of story. Numerous typos noted throughout the book. Otherwise if you’re looking for something light to read, sure
I really enjoyed this book, didn’t want to put it down!
Sweet, funny read. I definitely want to read more of her books.
Good light reading.
Cute story
I loved the characters, and bought the rest of the series!
Really enjoyed this. Bit of a twist near the end. Found the main character relatable.
