He’s her final and toughest assignment. She’s his last chance at success.Mia ~I’m next in line to inherit a legacy known as Music Haven, the place where dreamers become legends. My grandfather groomed me from a young age to take his place as CEO. All I have to do is complete one assignment.Except, my last project is the toughest one yet. Now, I’m representing one of the most notorious rock bands … yet.
Now, I’m representing one of the most notorious rock bands in history—Rebel Stone.
Nothing about this will be easy. I dread every encounter with the cocky lead singer, Darius. While I can’t deny his talent or the way my heart races when he’s close, he’s in my territory now, and I refuse to be his next fling.

Darius~
I know how to rock a stage as well as any woman’s bed. It’s one of the reasons why our manager abandoned us at the start of our summer tour. At least our agent scored us a sponsorship with the Brooks family. They are music royalty, the type of connection we need.
But there’s one catch.
I have to work with Mia, the owner’s granddaughter when I’d rather have her in my bed.
The thing is, she’s brilliant. Our songs are soaring up the charts, bringing us the fame we’ve desired. Now, the feelings I’ve kept hidden are surfacing, and Mia’s reputation could be in jeopardy, along with my heart.

Mia is due to take control of her grandfather’s music business, but first she must prove she can manage one of the bands. Darius is the front man for Rebel Stone and while the rest of the band are happy enough with the arrangement, Darius is set on making things hard for Mia.
When the band get some free time, Darius heads off to his hometown but Mia insists on going with him. Things are revealed to Mia by her father, and Darius admits why he’s been so awkward to work with.
This is the first of a two part prequel to the Rock-N-Roll Heiress trilogy, and I can’t wait to read part two and then the full story!
Mia is set to take control of her grandfather’s music business but she has one assignment she has to do first. She has to prove she can manage one of the bands and the band she is given to manage is Rebel Stone. Darius is the front man for the band and he isn’t happy with Mia managing them. So he does everything in his power to make things hard for her. Mia is very determined to show that she can do this so she keeps her head down and does what she needs to in order to get the job done. But will it be enough to show them she has what it takes to run the business? Or will Darius keep causing her problems?

Love Defined is the prequel to the Rock & Roll Heiress series and a great introduction to Darius and Mia’s relationship. Mia tries to prove herself capable of taking over Music Haven but she has one last assignment to fulfill, representing Rebel Stone. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
This is the prequel to the series. And helps define why mia and darius are who they are. Very good story

This is the Rock-N-Roll Heiress Prequel book, a well written story that held my interest throughout. This is Amelia/Mia Brooks, and frontman Darius Stone of the Rebel Stone band. A short well written start to a four part story. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Love how headstrong both Darius and Mia are as it makes for a perfect combination of fire and ice between them. It’s explosive. I loved reading this and seeing the start of their relationship and how they grew while also being in the public eye. Great start to a series. I want to read the rest of everyone’s stories now.

My experience with and idea of a prequel is getting a complete story that continues with new plotlines or inciting incidents in the succeeding book(s). This was more like a cliffhanger – the book basically ended in the middle of a chapter. I despise cliffhangers and do not read them. I cannot recommend this book or series as the author did not provide any information for the direction for rest of the book/story.

Oh my gosh…we got to finally see the history of Mia, Darius and the scumbag Wesley. Mia is struggling to show her Grandfather and her father both that she has what it takes to take over music haven. We see how the dynamic developed between Mia and Darius…how/why he treats her initially. He is not exactly as carefree as he seems and is running from something. We also begin to see the troublemaker that Wesley is and his history of the behavior he has.
I honestly loved this book and cannot wait to see Darius’ current story…hopefully he will have a book of his own in the Heiress series. This is an awesome book that fills in some of the blanks that we had in the other books!
The first of a two-part prequel to the “Rock-N-Roll Heiress” series, “Love Defined” provides background information on how Mia came to be in control of her grandfather’s music business. Although short, the book is well written and the story kept me hooked througout reading. Although I own all of the books in the series, I’ll wait for the second prequel before diving into them. I wish it comes soon!!!
I received and ARC from the author and I voluntarily leave a review.
Love this book.
As promised Kelli delivers a heart squeezer with this book. It leaves you in a state of aww as you fall in love with the rock and roll characters Mia and Darius. And if you’re like me you will want to dislike him because he is not Ayden… ( those who know who he is will know why) The ups and downs of being on the road and managing a band take a hard toll on Mia as she tries to bring Rebel Stone to the forefront of the music industry but will she be able to handle it? Will Darius be able to open up before its too late? I did receive an ARC of this story and I am leaving my review of my thoughts.
I’ve read the first book in the serie and it worked on its own, but this prequel gives me something extra. I understand more about Mia and the band.
I loved it and are looking forward to the next one.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
