Love, Cass is a heart wrenching story about life, love, and loss. Loosely based on true life events of Author Stephanie St. Klaire, Cass is a relatable story guaranteed to make you look at life through a different lens. In this emotionally charged roller coaster of events, Cass represents life in fiction as she achieves triumph over tragedy, even in death. Stephanie shares her inspirational tale … tale of victory with symbolic representation as she says goodbye to the girl she once was…through Cass.
As requested by Brother’s Keeper fans, here is the companion novel for Liam…
There’s something they don’t tell you about fairy tales. Happily ever after isn’t promised. Happy forever? Now, that’s a thing…
I met my Prince Charming right out of pigtails and just before that point where boys stop being icky, and they just smell bad. Before I knew it, we went from best friends growing up to a whirlwind romance full of dream come trues. We were planning a forever that every love-soaked romance novel tries to recreate. I was living the ultimate romantic love story – skipped the frog phase and went straight to full blown prince. My life was perfect – until it wasn’t…
I’m dying. The fairy tale just changed a bit, didn’t it?
I can’t leave until those left behind know how to live their happy forever…without me. I won’t get the forever with them, but they’ll get a forever with me.
I’m Cassidy O’Reilly…and this is my story.

Loved it. Loved these series. Thank you!
I really loved the story of this book. It was a quick read, packed full of emotion. I sobbed buckets (on a plane! UGH), but more than anything felt deeply for this couple/family. I loved how close Cass and Liam were and even more in love with the O’Reilly family dynamic. I was very invested in the story and felt every challenge these two faced.
I really enjoyed the author’s writing style and would definitely continue to read her books. Anybody that can me feel like I felt on this book, is a keeper!!

This is the first story I have read by this author and I loved every moment of it. I laughed, cried, felt sorrow, and pure love. Being an Oregonian made me enjoy this book even more. I’m excited to read more books in this family I wish I was a part of.
This is the first book I’ve ever read from this author. I haven’t even read the first book in the series but that didn’t take away from this story at all. I feel I know everything about the characters I need to know.
I am sobbing. I am ugly crying. I am a mess. This has broken my heart!!!

Powerful and emotional story, full of courage and strength despite all that’s thrown at them. Liam is loving and supportive throughout as is his family. Cass is someone who I hope I could emulate if circumstances ever arose, she never gave in, never stopped fighting and despite everything tried to make it as easy on her family as she possibly could. That the author based some of this on own experience shines through, my heart goes out to her that she ever had to suffer even with things going in her favour. This story had me crying one minute and laughing the next because that is the character of Cass, having read the first three books it is awesome to go back and get Cass’s own story from her point of view. It helped make Liam’s story clearer. I can’t praise this enough the emotional roller coaster that all the characters go through but the love and bonds shared gives all the strength they need to bolster each other when each have moments of despair. Full of feeling and pain but above all else LOVE!
This book… I am really not even sure how to put into words how much this book just gutted me in every way. I was crying like a baby repeatedly just because of the emotion that Stephanie put into the book, and how truly selfless Cass is.
Cass won’t be here much longer. And she is trying to prepare her family for the time when she isn’t here anymore. She is more worried about those around her than herself. I cannot say enough good things about this book and just how amazing of a job Stephanie did. I couldn’t recommend it enough and will be adding it to my re-read list immediately.

Love, Cass is a book that complements Liam, which I have not yet read. This book could be read before, after, or completely as a standalone. I am going to read Liam’s book now that I have read this, as it takes place in the time after Cassy.
Cassidy O’Reilly is an amazing woman who lives a joyful life. She marries Liam O’Reilly, the love of her life and is blessed with wonderful family. Then when she becomes pregnant, she is given the worst news you can get. Together they make a decision to have a beautiful, healthy little girl, and then they fight and get a miracle. Remission!
But you can’t bet against the house twice and win. Three years later the cancer returns. More aggressive. How do you prepare to leave your baby girl and your adoring husband? How can you prepare them for your absence? There is no easy way. I cried ugly tears. This will hurt your chest and bring up every unresolved feeling you may have tucked deep away. Dealing with feelings not easy but it is cleansing. Liam has a very hard time.
Stephanie pulled from her own experiences to write this so it is a deeply personal book. She is Cass. You can feel it in every written word and every emotion expressed by the characters. The honesty expressed is what makes it so tangible and believable. And that is what breaks out hearts and heals them with the tears we shed. This is as true a book as you will get about life and loss, but mostly the joy of living every day to its fullest and making memories. No one is promised tomorrow. Have joy in your heart!
This is such an amazing story. It tells the story of Cass a mother, wife and a victim of cancer. We can all relate to some degree of the impact that cancer has on the lives of the person that has cancer and those that love them.
Cass is a brave and amazing person. Her relationship with Liam is amazing ; they are so in tune with each other.
This book stays with your soul and touches your heart.

I really enjoyed this book. What a tear-jerker! I knew from the blurb I was going to get my heart broken but wow!
Love, Cass has given me quite an emotional ride. Stephanie has brought to life Cassidy , her world and the way she copes . She is a wife, mother, sister. She and her husband Liam are finally blessed with starting a family when the unthinkable happens. She discovers that she is diagnosed with Cancer and must make the ultimate sacrifice . She will delay her treaments until the birth of her child. She has finally been given the gift of a second chance and realizes that she will take this opportunity to leave each one that is near and dear to her heart a special gift. This was such a beautifl story written through the eyes of Stephanie and given to us in the form of Cassidy!

I absolutely loved it. The story is so good! I loved the characters and they were all so likeable and perfect. I had a great time with this book! I can’t wait for more!
This story was the complete package of a heart warming, loving, but sad story. Cass finds out the worst of news but really makes the best of it and every day in front of her for her family and loved ones. Every letter ending with “Love, Cass” was beautiful and so filled with love it was like I was reading them from her family’s perspective.
This was a beautiful story.
This is a fantastic book. It is heart breaking but to a point that most never see or know of. I love how Stephanie St. Klaire wrote this book to give Cass just what she need. And to also help everyone else around her that is important. (Husband and daughter) After going threw cancer and betting it I see how and why Cass need to make every minute count. Why it was important for them to know they would be okay after she went on.
I love this book the most out of all of Stephanie books and hope many people read it. You will not be disappointed.

This is just a breathtaking emotional book. It is so hard to not cry, not to imagine yourself in their places and how you would be. Then, when you do ask yourself how you would be in their place the tears start up again. This is by far the most emotional, heartfelt story I have read in 2019. For me, there is no way to read this and not cry. The journey Cass and Liam went on you’re going to need a box of tissues for.

Love, Cass is a heartbreakingly beautiful story and I loved it! I haven’t cried so much while reading a book until this one. I loved getting to know Cass and everything she went through before her death. I especially loved reading her letters. I highly recommend this beautiful story to everyone, but make sure you have a box of Kleenex ready you will definitely need it. Stephanie St. Klaire you ripped my heart to pieces and I have to thank you for such a powerful, emotional and unforgettable story.
5 Heartfelt Stars
Love, Cass is a companion novel to Liam, book two in the Brother’s Keeper series. If you haven’t read it, no worries, you can read still read it without being lost. St. Klaire has given us a heartfelt story based loosely on her own life events through Cassidy’s words.
Learning her cancer is back and this time it’s terminal, Cassidy has two choices…dance in the rain or roll over and give up. She choses to dance, and dance she does. I can’t even begin to imagine how to prepare myself as well as my family, for saying goodbye. Cass does it in her usual selfless and classy way.
Love, Cass has to be one of the most emotional books I have read this year. Especially knowing how personal this story is for the author. I was in tears before I even got to the first chapter. It is the last memoirs of Cassidy and her thoughts, wishes, and help for her family after she’s gone. The letters, (whew! Kleenex is a must), the letters gutted me, but they helped heal my soul too. Stephanie St. Klaire, you have proven yet again, that you are not only an amazing writer, but a fighter and survivor as well. Hugs to you lady for having the courage to share your story with us.

A truly heart twisting journey of a truly strong and timeless love that had me crying from beginning to end hitting every high and low along the way… was beautifully written, engaging, emotional and heartwarming story of hope in the darkness. Loved this chapter of this highly entertaining series, do not pass up this amazing read!
This story touched me in so many ways – I felt the joy and love and also the sadness of the story. Cass was introduced in Liam’s back story and in this book we get to meet her and live in her story. We see how she deeply affected all of those around her and the love she had for all of her extended family and friends. I had to read this story in short spurts because inevitably I would end up crying. This was a beautifully written story and I highly recommend it!
Wow! Love, Cass is such a wonderful, emotional story of love, laughter, loss, and heart break. This book has all the feels and takes you through every emotion. A truly beautifully written story that stays with you after you turn the last page!
