With a hit song sitting at number one on the country music charts, Gavin McNeer thought he finally had everything he ever wanted. All it takes is one look from the mesmerizing woman sitting in the front row at one of his shows and a brief encounter to make him realize just what he’s been missing. Even though he’s been burnt in the past, Gavin puts his inhibitions aside and his heart on the line to … line to earn the trust of the woman who could be his everything.
Working in an industry where relationships start and end in the blink of an eye, Alyson Dawson has made it her mission not to get mixed up with musicians, no matter how good-looking they are. Keeping her focus on her blossoming career and clients, Aly doesn’t even have time to date much less fall in love. That is until she meets Gavin, a man who changes everything with one smoldering look.
Just when these two begin to settle into their new relationship, Aly is asked to do something that may require her to choose between the career she’s building and the man she’s falling in love with. To make things worse, Gavin’s ex decides to add a touch of drama to an already delicate situation.
Will their love survive, or become just another sad love song?

Looking for something sweet to read that has just the right amount of swoon well look no further. Love at the Bluebird is that book. Aly and Gavin meet when he is at the Bluebird to perform and Aly is there for work. When these two lock eyes while Gavin is perform they can’t turn away from one another and the pull they feel. From that moment on Gavin does what he can to sway Aly to give him a chance and go out with him. Don’t worry she gives in and from date #1 sparks fly. There’s a few hiccups along the way but nothing too over the top that these two can’t push through.
We get a little glimpse at out girl Willow Mayson and some other awesome characters from the until world. So you have to go pick up this great book, you won’t be disappointed.
I thoroughly enjoyed Love At The Bluebird, a collaboration between Aurora Rose Reynolds and Jessica Marin. I’m a huge, long-time Aurora Rose Reynolds fan, but this was my first time reading Jessica Marin. These two authors were very well paired. Their writing styles blended seamlessly, and they transitioned smoothly between each other, which is exactly what I hope for in a co-written novel.
I was sold on this story the minute I read the blurb, and I was not disappointed. Everything I love about Reynolds’ writing – the devoted, determined alpha hero, a sassy heroine and, of course, the BOOM – was there with just enough light angst to keep me hooked and turning the pages. A country music star romance set in Nashville, there was plenty of southern charm to be found on these pages. An alpha hero from Texas, Gavin McNeer was extremely swoon-worthy, sexy and seriously into Aly from the moment he laid eyes on her. Alyson Dawson, an A&R assistant for a record label, was focused on her career, and vowed to herself that she wouldn’t get mixed up with a musician.
The chemistry between Aly and Gavin was combustible – everyone around them the night they met felt it, and the authors did a fantastic job making that moment – ARR’s BOOM! – leap off the page. These two were just so drawn to each other, and it was more than just sexual attraction, though there was plenty of that. It was clear that in each other they seemed to recognize a kindred spirit and that once-in-a-lifetime, soul-deep connection. These two fell for each other so hard and fast, and I was right there with them, loving every minute of it.
Love At The Bluebird was a light-hearted, feel good story with all of the swoony, sexy romance I love from Aurora Rose Reynolds with just enough angsty drama to keep me interested but not overwhelmed. I absolutely loved watching this couple fall in love, and I was totally swept up in their romance. I was charmed from the first page, and I devoured this book in a day—I simply did not want to put it down! Love At The Bluebird by Aurora Rose Reynolds and Jessica Marin gets 4.5 smooches from me!

5 SINGING THE LOVE STARS!! What a heartfelt story that sings the love for Gavin and Aly. This story will for sure hit all your emotion buttons and have you flipping pages. I hope these two write more books together. You definitely need to download this book.
It was a wonderful story, beautiful in its simplicity. I love Aly’s optimistic nature and Gavin’s love for music rather than the pursuit of fame. I normally don’t like rushed insta-love stories because they seem fake to me, but in this case, it didn’t matter to me much. Aly and Gavin’s confused reaction to the rate at which their relationship was progressing were very natural and made their feelings seem to be more credible.
I love the scene of their first meeting, there was so much chemistry between them, the connection they had was very magnetic and hot.
Love at Bluebird is a perfect in-between book filled with music love and steamy chemistry. I love it.
Short sweet romance with a little steam!!!
This was a great and fast read! I couldnt put it down! A great start to a new series! I cant wait to read the rest!!
Received an arc for an honest review.
Perfect pairing a little country and a little romance until things go public and then things go sour. Very well written- I loved it so much
3.5 Stars
I am a fan of Aurora Rose Reynolds. I will (and have) read anything she writes. And while I enjoyed Love at the Bluebird, I hate to say it wasn’t one of my favorites (and they can’t all be…). There were a lot of great things about this book- I liked the characters, I liked the plot, the writing was good. But… I didn’t quite connect with the characters. I liked Gavin and Aly, but I don’t feel like I know them deeply.
While this wasn’t my favorite, I still enjoyed it, and would love to get more from this gang!
I’m not sure any review I write can do justice to this book. Set against one of my favorite cities in Nashville, TN, I just adored everything about it. Aurora Rose Reynolds and Jessica Marin seamlessly collaborated to give us a book with all of the elements I love in a romance: an alpha hero, a smart heroine who can hold her own, emotion, heat, villain(s) you want to smack, and a wonderful cast of characters that I absolutely want more from. It was an instant spark for both Gavin and Aly, and you could feel the heat coming off the pages, but the development of their relationship was formed into a foundation for a love that will last.
“Not just any kind of love—a soul wrenching, wrapping-its-claws-around-your-heart kind of love the instant your eyes catch each other’s.”
This book is told from first person, dual POV, and from the moment Gavin sees Aly across the crowded bar while performing on stage, you will be hooked on their quest for happily ever after.
I’m SO ready for more from this writing duo, and hope that we will be getting books for Sosie, Scottie, Valerie, and Shane. I especially can’t wait for Aurora Rose Reynolds to give us our book on Willow Mayson, with the promise of a hockey romance with Brodie Larsen!!!!
I usually avoid any and all music related books; weird I know. But Aurora Rose Reynolds had a part in this so I finally gave in and started it.
Loved the H/h, the storyline flowed well and although there was only one blow up the angst was low and the love was powerful.
So in closing I have to say this chick who dislikes the music trope loves this book
Thank you Enticing Journey and the author for an advanced copy. I voluntarily reviewed this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

*REVIEW*
I was torn about what to say in regards to Love At The Bluebird. On one hand, this story is an easy charming read with that romcom chicklit appeal that I love. It’s pleasant reading basically. On the other hand, the story is formulaic. Aly and Gavin have insta love, some drama, hea, etc. I knew the ending from the start, so originality was definitely lacking. While it’s not my favorite, I did enjoy the story. I know this story will appeal to many romance readers.
I always love a Aurora Rose Reynolds book and now I can add Jessica Marin to list. I love how Alyson is always true to herself in the music industry it can be hard to do when you sometimes get star struck. However, she never comprises her plans until she meets Gavin. It was truly love at first sight for both of them. So Altson breaks the one rule she has keep, Don’t Date Within The Industry! Alyson and Gavin fall head over heels for each other and are on the fast track of love. Hopefully the business and past relationships don’t bring them down or break them apart! If you love a great love story with a music twist grab this book!
4 Love at The Bluebird Stars
Love at The Bluebird is a stand alone romance by Aurora Rose Reynolds and Jessica Marin.
Alyson is a twenty-three year old who has her dream job working as an assistant for a small record label in Nashville. Aly, is the younger sister of Valerie from Until Valerie, by Jessica Marin, part of the Kindle Worlds: Happily Ever Alpha series.
Gavin is a musician who has just been signed to a record label and seems to have everything he’s ever wanted. That’s the things about dreams. You think its what you want but when you get it, it doesn’t always work out how you thought it would. This is a little true for Gavin.
“This woman has captivated me like no one else has ever before. I need to know the identity of the woman I can’t take my eyes off of.”
Gavin and Aly have this insta-connection like only soulmates can have. But it started off on a very slow pace and had me wanting the story to get on with it which is not usually how I feel when I’m reading books ARR.
“You fit perfectly in my arms, like you were made for me.”
Love at The Bluebird has some really great secondary characters that made the story better for me. But overall I felt this could have been better and was a little disappointed in it. However this is just my opinion and I do recommend you read it.

Love at the Bluebird
Ohhhh the goodness! I loved it. Reynolds always does a fantastic job with her stories. Each one so different but they all leaving you swooning at the end. This one is much the same. The characters were sweet and unique. I loved their chemistry. I would most certainly recommend this book. Great storyline. Great flow. Great feels. No crazy insane over the top drama. It’s a feel good read through and through. LOVED IT!
I think this might be my favorite book by Jessica Marin or Aurora Rose Reynolds. This is a super sweet, insta-love romance that will have you swooning from beginning to end. I hope these two write more books together in the future. They have a great dynamic.
This is a first for me these author’s and book and I definitely wasn’t disappointed, I enjoyed this book immensely. Romantic, beautiful and sweet. Fantastically written.
Ally is a young woman who works extremely hard, she’s a very confident, sexy woman that barely has time for anyone. Ally works at a record label. Her best friends Willow and her boss Shane who always have her back.
Gavin is a sexy, alpha male song writer and has decided to release his own song.
Gavin works in the music industry and was performing at the Bluebird Cafe when he and Ally first met, they both felt the magnetic pull. They were totally taken with each other from the get go. Gavin is extremely protective of Ally and he’s a very genuine sweet guy. Gavin is every woman’s dream.
Ally didn’t ever want to date any one in the music industry but when they see each other, that was it. The intense chemistry between them was electrifying. They fall in love very fast. Gavin has been hurt before but he’s totally taken with Ally.
There is secrets and lies and some mis communication between them, it could destroy everything and I was totally rooting for them and their love all the way.
I absolutely loved these characters they were awesome and the love they have building between them and their sexual chemistry is of the charts.
This book is a complete page turner and I just couldn’t put it down, I absolutely loved Gavin and Allys story and I couldn’t get enough of them. This book is a great read and I will be highly recommending this book when it gets released.
I absolutely loved this book and I cannot wait to read more from these author’s in the future.
Thank you to the author and publishers for allowing me to read an early copy of this book.

This book is Out Now.
Gavin McNeer is a country singer and songwriter who shot to fame with a song he wrote for his ex-girlfriend singer Tori Langston. He recently signed a record deal with Charisma, owned by Tori’s father Atticus Langston, but he is not happy with the deal. One night he signs at the Bluebird and sees a woman and he knows he needs to meet her.
Alyson Dawson works at Big Little Music and loves her immediate boss Shane but has been warned to be wary of the owner, Kathleen Davidson. She loves her job working with new artists and knows her goal is to keep working in the industry and move up.
When Aly and Gavin meet sparks fly but with Gavin’s popularity they also find themselves in the press and people trying to find out who Aly is. But with Gavin unhappy at his current label and Aly working for a rival label, will they find themselves as pawns in a much bigger game where the two of them stand so much to lose?
This was a wonderful book and I enjoyed it from start to finish!
I liked Gavin and he was definitely in a difficult position with his contract and the fact that he was no longer dating Tori but essentially was working for her father. He loved song writing but really didn’t seem to like the political aspect behind the music business and hated that the paparazzi wanted to follow him and invade his personal life. I found it odd though that he was so “alpha male” instantly over Aly especially about where she lived but I was glad that Aly stood her ground.
I thought Aly was a wonderful character who really wanted to follow her passion yet she also knew she wasn’t going to use her relationship with Gavin to get ahead. I loved that she was independent and never did anything that she wasn’t comfortable with. I hated that she felt insecure due to Tori and her past relationship with Gavin.
The relationship between Gavin and Aly progressed quickly but both knew what they wanted and had a good level of trust and respect between them. Yet in the music industry things get twisted around and the things that happened in the book definitely followed along and certain things happened that changed the course of the relationship between Gavin and Aly.
I wasn’t surprised at why Gavin flipped out but I was mad that he never trusted Aly enough to listen to her or believe her. I was shocked at what Aly did and also super proud of her. What happened next to Aly broke my heart but I had been expecting that almost from the beginning! I was so proud of Gavin for how he handled everything and how that allowed him to change his own course!
The end was great and I was so happy for how everything worked out! Looking forward to more from these two authors!

Love at the Bluebird is a sweet love at first sight romance that was definitely an enjoyable story to read! It was filled with a nice amount of steamy moments as well as a few challenging ones for both Gavin and Aly. Their relationship started from a look across the room and moved at warp speed but they both knew they had something special happening between them. They both worked in the music industry and it was what brought them together but it also may the one thing that pull them apart.
This talented duo of authors has done an amazing job in penning Gavin and Alyson’s story. This is an engaging storyline with humour, and I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner. I highly recommend for all readers.
4.5 Stars for Love at The Bluebird
A new stand-alone from Aurora Rose Reynolds and Jessica Martin featuring country music star Gavin McNeer and Alyson Dawson.
Gavin McNeer has just found his niche in the world of country music, he is a singer songwriter with a heart of gold. Performing at an Industry night at The Birdbird his eyes meet Alyson Dawson and he knew from that moment on he needed to speak to her…….
Alyson works for a rival record label and when she spots Gavin across that crowded room she also knew this could be something very special but her problem is should she break her rule of never dating someone from the music industry…..
Love at first sight is a wonderful thing but will the industry that introduced them make them stronger or will it tear them apart ……
This may have started as a look across a room but as soon as this couples eyes meet they both knew this could be something so very special and they could be looking at their forever person. This is a sweet love at first sight romance with adorable characters, it’s an entertaining enjoyable read that will draw you in from the first page and you won’t be putting this book down before you have read the final line. Loved everything about this book and I highly recommend it to all romance lovers.
