A full-length, standalone romance with a guaranteed HEA from USA Today Bestselling Author J.H. Croix! If you like romance with alpha men and strong women, you’ll love this series! What happens when different worlds collide and love gets caught in the middle?Garrett Hamilton is the quintessential ladies man, a handsome, wealthy corporate lawyer whose work keeps him far too busy to think about … too busy to think about romance. Yet, he’s lost his drive to win cases and finds himself hopping on a plane to visit his brother at Last Frontier Lodge in Alaska. Delia Peters is a single mother who learned the hard way that love doesn’t come easy. She figures life is good enough if she can pay the bills. Love is the stuff of dreams, not real life.
Garrett has spent so many years driven almost entirely by his work that he’s at loose ends. He’s hoping an unplanned escape will refresh and renew him. He didn’t count on Delia nearly bringing him to his knees with her unassuming beauty. One kiss and he’s lost. A man whose career was built on his ability to spin any situation to his advantage finds himself stumbling when faced with a woman whose mere presence rattles his control.
Delia is finally finding some stability with a new job as the chef at the local ski lodge. She’s so accustomed to the busy pace of single motherhood that the thought of romance hasn’t crossed her mind in years. She’s entirely unprepared for the scorching attraction between her and Garrett. One kiss sends her reeling…and wanting more than she ever imagined.
Delia and Garrett can’t deny the depth of desire that simmers between them. Falling in love wasn’t in the plans for either of them. Garrett is everything Delia dreamed of and more. Delia touches places in Garrett’s heart that he hadn’t known existed. Can Delia learn to trust in love? Can Garrett get out of his own way long enough to show Delia how much she matters?
*All novels in this series are full-length standalone novels with an HEA.

Another great book in this series! I love that each book is a standalone, but I get to see glimpses of characters from the other stories. I couldn’t wait to read Delia’s journey, single parent books are one of my favorite genres right now. Garrett is absolutely perfect for Delia, he just needs to get out of his own head and realize what’s in front of him.
Love this whole series and this book didn’t disappoint.
Dang, I love Garrett and Delia’s story!
Delia isn’t interested in dating, not since she got pregnant in college. Only to find out the father didn’t care for her nor ever want his child. Now, a single mom of six yr old Nick, she isn’t ready for the feelings brought on by Garrett.
Garrett is a well established corporate lawyer from Seattle, who flirts his way through women. That is, until he meets his match in Delia! He has no plans to fall for a woman, he’s just in Diamond Creek to figure out what to do with his career.
What they mean to each other is confusing for them. They have serious chemistry, they burn up the sheets or anywhere else they are, but what does it all mean? Does Garrett really plan to settle in Diamond Creek, or now that he’s back in Seattle to settle his business affairs, will he change his mind?
I am enjoying this series as much as all the other! I highly recommend checking all of them out!
I can click on all the above choices and then they disappear. This was good. Garrett is frustrated and not sure why. He is a very handsome, rich, successful corporate lawyer in Seattle but after be wins a case be hops on a plane to go visit his brother Gage and his wife Marley that bought and now run the Last Frontier Lodge. Garrett had met Delia before, whose parents used to run the lodge and now she works at the lodge and Garrett is attracted. After spending time with Delia and her 6 year old son he’s hooked. A great standalone with an HEA!! Great book!!!
Another brother finds love
Garrett shows up late at the Lodge from Seattle. He finished his trail and won but didn’t feel right, he has his assistant change his appointments and got on a plane. Dahlia was working late when Garrett showed up. She loves working at the Lodge it’s where she worked next to her mom growing up and made her want to cook. With the help of her dad she is raising her son Nick. But something clicked between Garrett & Dahlia.
I loved reading this series. I loved being in Alaska and the Last Frontier Lodge.
I enjoy reading Croix, her books are fast paced, romantic and I love anything Alaskan.
All of the books in series are great reads by an excellent author.
A good continuation of the the Last Frontier Series.
Again, I love her Swoon Series, so it was hard not to compare these to those. I fully enjoyed the book, it just wasn’t my favorite. Love At Last was the second book in Croix’s Last Frontier Lodge Series. They are interconnected but can be read as stand-alones. It was a sweet and swoony read with a touch of angst.
Garrett was getting burned out from being a corporate lawyer. He decided he needed a change and hopped the next flight to Alaska. He thought the remote wilderness and pure fresh air would help get his mind back on track. But meeting Delia had the opposite effect. His world was spinning out of control and he wasn’t sure how or if he wanted to get back to normal.
Delia was a single mom who had finally settled into a good routine. When Garrett stumbled into her world, he threw her completely off track. Could she learn to love again or would her past catch up to her?
These two had such an amazing relationship! And Garrett’s relationship with her son, gah!! So many emotions in such a short time had me crying and swooning! I am looking forward to see what’s next!
I enjoyed this book, the Last Frontier Lodge sounds like a great place to visit, the descriptions of Alaska are great and make me want to go there. The characters are good but I was annoyed that Garrett, a smart, educated man was unable to recognise and accept his feelings for Delia. The story is sweet and steamy with just a little angst. I enjoy getting to know all the family and look forward to more of this series, and hope that Ginger gets her HEA in the not too distant future.
This is Garrick and Delia’s story in the Last Frontier Series. This is another quick read. For the most part an enjoyable read. As it’s stated, all in this series is a stand alone read, and each story is about a Hamilton family member. I’ve found that as I’ve read 3 of the books back to back, some of the writing, IMO, seems to be copied/pasted, and repetitious from one story to another and some of the descriptive phrases of the characters, and the explicit sex scenes, are repeated though out the story. It becomes a disappointing waste of words to skip over, because it’s already been said and read numerous times already.
An awesome, heartfelt, beautifully written small-town romance with great characters, an enchanting plot and some terrific imagery. Part of a series but stands alone.
Good read
I enjoyed reading this book.
I love reading stories taking place in Alaska. You can feel as if you are there. It is a bit more racy than I expected, but the story was nice.
Good read. Enjoy this story.
Really good story. Did not need explicit sex.
This world doesn’t disappoint and if you’ve visited before, you’ll enjoy visiting again. This story is a sweet reminder to connect with family and getting your priorities straight. Love is strong and healing if you let it.
I would recommend this book.
