My first impression of him: Rude, hostile and a huge jerk … with a sexy booty! He was the one who called ME to sell his huge array of antique stuff. But when we get into an argument with him calling me cheap, it was clear he regretted even finding our little shop. And after this first encounter with the guy, I thought I would never again lay eyes on that delicious ass.But like always, fate had a … ass.
But like always, fate had a way to intervene where it should not. Especially when I discover a secret box in one of the many antique pieces of furniture I picked from his place.
It was old and the secrets contained in them too precious … so I asked him to over to my place to pick it up … who knew this would end up with him kissing me in my own bathroom right in the middle of the night!
This is the third and last book in the steamy romance series, Rules of Love and can be read as a standalone. No cheating. No cliff-hanger. And the kind of ending you will just love. Team HEA all the way!!

I laughed, cried, got mad and frustrated with the caracters! All in all this book has it all and I really recommend it! It is easy to read and fast as it isn’t too long, but I didn’t feel like the story was rushed. The author has a writing style that really appeals to me, there is backbone to the story, it isn’t rushed but it moves along withouth too much unnecessary “filling”!
This is the third book in the Rules of Love series it can be read as a standalone. Love Antique is a full of emiotions book. It had me hooked from beginning to the end. It was written and the characters were wonderful to read about. Thank you to Lindsey Hart for letting me read this story.

Lainey is the last of her three friends to find love. She does so with Hector who is totally unexpected. He is hurting and gruff and doesn’t believe he deserves to be happy. She has to work on convincing him otherwise. This story is a little more laid back than the other two in the series. It sits the personalities that the author has created for Lainey and Hector. It focuses a lot on the emotional turmoil of both characters and how much they change when they find happiness together.

This is such an emotionally entwined story that will have you in Hector and Laney’s corner. Hector just lost his grandmother and finds out that he has to sell the place he has spent his life. Laney has been assigned to go and evaluate the antiques which leads to a heated discussion between the two. When she finds items in a box that are personal she calls Hector over to her place to retrieve them and this is where their journey begins. He doesn’t feel he is good enough for her and tries to keep her at a distance but the pull is strong. Laney herself has personal baggage but she wants to be a part of his life. Will they make it? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
You never know what small decisions lead to larger, more difficult ones. By searching for antiques, a greater treasure was found. A treasure beyond the imagination of either of Laney or Hector. Both have serious issues to work their way through before any relationship can become a reality. But it may be too much to overcome.

Sometimes letting go of the past is exactly what you need to do to move on. He couldnt move on because of his pride. A little bit of lost pride won’t hurt you, it makes you a better person. I’m glad he figured it out. Good read.

This is such a good read. He has her come out to sell some antiques that were in his family. He just lost his grandmother and is hurt he has to sell everything to get the money he badly needs. She is the buyer of the antiques. He needs her and the more he tries to push her away the more stubborn and strong she gets and determined to help him. Feelings develop from there and the road is bumpy. It is so emotional in so many ways, exciting, intriguing and so much more. I need to go back and read the other two. I got a review copy from booksprout and voluntarily review it.

This read centered on the last of the women, Laney, who worked together as it’s book three of this series. This book was an interesting and complex look at the “baggage” we all carry and the different way individuals address their problems. The characters were portrayed well and the story definitely held my attention. Good read!

I really enjoyed this story. Hector recently lost his grandmother, now he’s being forced to sell the farm where he has lived all his life. He was lonely, hurting and so in need of someone important in his life, and then he meets Laney and his life begins to change. The writing and flow of this book is absolutely fantastic. I absolutely recommend this book.

This is the third book in the Rules of Love series. I loved this book, it is a unique story where the man in the story has personal challenges and is lead to believe basically his life is a lie as it unravels after his grandparents/parents pass away. Hector is left with cleaning up the family homestead to move forward with this life but as he attempts to make his way forward, he is sucked into the past. Laney is pulled into the mix by posting an ad to purchase antique items. Even these two are off to an awkward and rocky start things slowly start to smooth out between them and they both open up to one another. This story is full of twists and challenges for both characters in order to hopefully find their HEA.

They were destined to meet
When Laney showed up to cart away Hector’s belonging’s she had no idea that both their lives would be changed forever. He’d never known his parents and with his grandparents gone, it had become increasingly difficult to maintain his family home. Hector was having a rough time letting go and that lonesome feeling had him slightly off his rocker.
Laney couldn’t stand to see Hector so dejected. She had started to care for him and even though her actions seemed self-serving, she believed that she was doing the right thing when she took it upon herself to organize an event to help raise funds for him. No one said love was easy!
Compelling story. Interesting characters. Laney and the Ya Ya sisterhood made room for Hector in their lives and when he came to his senses, he realized that he hadn’t been alone. For the first time in his life, he felt like he belonged. Loved it!

Laney didn’t know what she was in for when she went to pick antiques in Hectors barn. And, Hector sure didn’t know what he was in for. Talk about Miss Helpful turning Mr Grumpy into Mr Happy!!!! This was such a cute, but OH MY WOW, so hot book. Such an easy read. Didn’t put it down. Read it all in 1 sitting. Sad that the series is over. I enjoyed reading them all!!!! Laney and Hector’s story. They met at an emotional tie for him. Drawn to one another, but uncertain about pursuing it. They come together in a conflagration, the baggage and past hurts interrupt, until they get that out of the way. When he reacts predictably to something she does, it had me shaking my head, saying, “I knew it. I knew he was going to do that.” All in all, this was a great book. Romantic and steamy, Ms. Hart has captured the art of the romance novel. I look forward to reading more from her.

This is a great book. It has a great story and great characters, I loved the twist. This is an over all great book. If you liked the other ones you will like this one and if you haven’t read the other one you will want to after reading this book. Must read!

Another book I could not put down.
Rayvn, Charlotte and Layne own an antique shop where they buy, restore and sell the antiques. A call to look and possibly purchase antiques takes Layne to drive an hour and half to look, she gets lost and upsets the young man she is to meet.
Hector is the last of his family and has not got over that fact. He discovers he is not ready to sell his grandparents antiques and sends Laney away, only to call her back a few days later. Hector is not prepared to deal with a pretty young woman as he does not have much experience with women. Everything left for him to sell the farm and all the belongings is more that he is ready for.
Laney is captivated with Hector and determined to bring him out of shell. Laney finds a card box in one of the antiques she purchases. This box changes everything with Hector and Laney.
Happy reading to reveal how this book ends.

I liked this emotional and fun read. Hector and Laney were both likable and I thought they had good chemistry. There are some interesting twists in the story and the plot was fast paced. A solid addition to this entertaining series of romances.
HEARTFELT & ENJOYABLE!
An amazing read that is well written with great dialogue. Emotionally heartfelt an intense as the drama pulls you in dishing out bits of happiness and a flurry of sassiness, angst and gruffness dominated the banter and explosive twists that kept me wanting to turn the pages. Edgy hot chemistry! An enjoyable must read!
I enjoyed the book. The story line was different which was nice. Laney is asked by Hector to look at some antiques he’s selling after a death in the family. The story developed a little too quickly to make it believable but I did enjoy the story I just would have liked a little more character development.

Hector Erwin lost his parents and was raised by his grandparents. He was homeschooled and wasn’t used to socializing because his grandparents kept mostly to themselves. After losing his grandfather and then his grandmother he knew that he wouldn’t be able to keep the old homestead that had been in the family for so many years and decided to sell off the antiques and tear down the old barn they were stored in.
He came across an advertisement in the classifieds looking for antiques and called it. The woman he’d originally talk to asked Laney to pick because she didn’t have any plans to be elsewhere as she’d not been having any luck at dating.
Hector gets upset because he doesn’t interact well with strangers and she’s late because she got lost. He also thinks that she’s going to take advantage of him over the pricing of the antiques. He gets surprised when he finds that she cares about the antiques and how they mean something to the people. He gives her a box of things and she leaves with it when he tells her that he’s not really ready to sell anything yet.
Laney is surprised when he calls the shop later and asks her to come back. He helps load up the trailer and she pays him double what he asked for because as she told him, they would bring a lot more than what he’d asked for. She decides she wants to keep a particular dresser for her own home and in the process of getting it into her house finds a box in one of the drawers. Laney opens the box and decides to call Hector to let him know what she’s found and he decides to go pick it up right then.
Things get hot and steamy, but he tells her that he’d like to get to know her better before they do anything. She thinks he’s trying to “blow her off” like some of the guys in her past and tells him to take his box and get out.
She talks to her friends at the shop and they convince her to give him a chance. She drives to the farm to apologize and they decide to give their attraction for each other a chance and see how things work out. Hector tells her that he still hasn’t checked out the contents of the box and he holds off until they have a huge argument and she storms away.
Hector finally checked out the contents of the box and finds out his grandparents had lied to him for years about both of his parents being killed in the accident, he goes to the address on one of the envelopes and finds his sole living parent and asks why there weren’t any more letters later and was told that it was decided that he didn’t want anything to do with his parent and gave up on him.
Hector goes to the Antique Shop and tells Laney that he’d misled her about having a job but was accepting an offer on the farm. He asked if the job offer for working at the shop was still on the table…….
