An Irish romantic comedy featuring a crashed wedding, a puppy with attitude, and a second chance romance.
Falling for the groom… trip eight years previously mean they’re legally married, her future plans ricochet out of control.
Gavin Maguire’s life is low on drama, high on stability, and free of pets. But Gavin hadn’t reckoned on Fiona blasting back into his life and crashing his wedding. I read this book previously and enjoyed it just as much the second time!
I loved the humor in this book. It definitely kept me interested and I love the love story, obviously. Definitely written well.
Maybe I was having an off night. I just couldn’t get interested in the story or the characters.
liked it
Give this one a try! I am so glad I did! Beautifully written, great characters and an excellent story to melt your heart.
Well, very sad and quite disturbing. I bought this Rom-Com with a smile. And after a couple chapters was left Angry. Being from London myself, I always by romance novels written by my fellow brits(especially in genres dominated by Americans). And had quite high hopes for this one. That being said, nice I dove into this novel. Something became …
You can’t help but to love these Irish romance novels. Zara Keane seems to have a good rhythm to her story writing too. The intro for Fiona and Gavin, in Love and Shenanigans is great. Gavin’s about to marry Fiona’s cousin and neither are prepared for the surprises to come from a long forgotten tryst in Las Vegas. A well thought out plot and …
This is a cute quick read. A light hearted rom-com with little stress, a lot of laughs and a happy ending. There is a little spice and intrigue to keep the story going and I look forward to reading more about the people in Ballybeg.
I really enjoyed this book.
Fun story and a quick read.
very hard to read
Loved the characters and how they came together
Good read.
A humorous and fun romantic read set in smaller town in Ireland. A fun read!
I’ve read other stories incorporating a Las Vegas wedding, but here bigamy threatens. While overall amusing to the point I laughed out loud, some suspense is also woven into the story line.
Fiona’s uncle and his family are the relations from hell. Gavin at first seems a bit of a pushover with regards to his future wife and in-laws, making me think …
Family
Fiona came back for her cousin’s wedding and as usual her cousin caused problems. Gavin was suppose to marry said cousin. Fiona & Gavin had a thing once in Vegas when they all showed up when she was working as an Au Pair in the US.
A new bit of info for me. A great book with so much more than I knew.
I did not finish this book
A very well written, comedic and romantic tale. The author’s voice is unique and evocative, and the characters come to life on each page. A wonderful and enjoyable read with a healthy dose of Irish humour and charm!
This story was just okay. I did not connect with the characters and the story seemed a little forced and unbelievable.
