Love all her books
Great story line, A very entertaining read.
This is the first book I have read by this author. This is a story about a wealthy family in the 1950’s who were obsessed with money. This book did not hold my interest where I could not put it down. I found weeks went by before I continued to read it. The book got better towards the end and did finish it. I am keeping a open mind and may read …
I had a hard time getting into the characters in this book and plot line. I wasn’t able to finish it because it just couldn’t hold my interest. I have read other books by this author that I really enjoyed. Maybe it was just the story that did nothing for me?
I loved this book and have now bought the 5 book series, Characters are real and the book was very informative about wall st and big business.
Loved this book. Certainly not literature, but a mile a minute story line filled with ups and downs, changing fortunes and changing loyalties. Insightful portrayal of complex emotions and relationships. So much tell without show. Plot and summary repetitions. But I still enjoyed it.
Loved the characters and it seemed to be true to the era. Can’t wait for the next installment!
Good read
The book had different themes in it—
Guess I just like book that are make good feel books=
this one does not!
Couldn’t finish this book. Writing style was fragmented and hard to follow. Characters are totally unrealistic.
It was a good story and an easy read. Good for lazy afternoons.
it wasnt for me
The characters were real and relatable.
A good read for a snowy day.
Liked it a lot! Very engrossing, difficult to put it aside
great read
Really kept me interested.
Good read!!! I love the way all the characters came together in the end. The book was also informative about the beauty industry from the 50’s to 80’s
Well written and keeps you guessing. Characters come to life with a good plot
Good story line. I liked the characters. Would like to see a sequal.
