Cute typical cozy story
I didn’t realize it at the time but I had already read this author before and really enjoy her work. The characters were very well written and you had a sense of relating to them. I enjoyed the storyline and even though it had been sometime since I had read the previous book I didn’t have any trouble remembering who everyone was. Looking forward to the next story.
It was a light summer read. A little mystery and romance
Interesting plot but didn’t need the steamy parts.
Not the run of the mill story line. Kept me involved to the end.
predictable
Fun, not too mushy but nice
Easy to read and fun story
Interesting glimpse into Southern life in a small town.
Sweet romance.
It held my attention to the end and left me wondering what was next for the characters.
Better than most romantic stories. Even though it is predictable, it is different than other stories i have read. Emma was taken advantage of 10 years ago. She hasn’t dated much since then, but was fine with it – thinking that she just didn’t clock with anyone. Later she finds out she has been manipulated for years.
Loved this book. Emma and Matthew’s story was well written and moved along at the right pace. I liked Emma’s no holds barred attitude. Getting a small peek at how things shaped up for her sister (from Again, Alabama) was great. Now for their brother’s story!
This book might appeal to a young teen.
Good writing. Kept my interest, even enjoyed the story line. One irritant though is that the heroine has all the resources to overcome her enemy and live happily ever after. It could have been a little more realistic if she had outed the creep publicly in the media. That is what happens these days and is not nearly as far fetched, or as apt to go wrong in the future, as the ending portrayed in the book.
Delightful story. A pleasant read. Kept my interest…actually I couldn’t put it down
Interesting characters. I read the next one in series also…fun reads!
I’m from Alabama so I enjoy reading stories that are from my state. This was so interesting and I enjoyed picturing my hometown.
Predictable but a quick read if you’re looking for something light.
I’m a lifelong Alabama resident, so it’s always interesting and fun to see how authors portray us Southerners!
