A Curvy Meets Cowboy Romance
Rachel
Some debts are never really paid…
So when a friend calls in an I.O.U. and asks me to keep an eye on her injured cousin for a few weeks, I pack my bags and head for the mountains.
There, I expect to find a wounded man tucked away in an isolated cabin. Instead, I find a surly bear.
But nothing is ever as simple as it seems, and beneath Cyrus Lyle’s … seems, and beneath Cyrus Lyle’s bluster is a man full of regrets, dry humor, honor, and love.
I shouldn’t adore his gruff attitude or the sweet looks he gives me when he thinks I’m not watching.
I shouldn’t want to stay with him at all, but I do.
Cyrus
A few weeks ago, guilt and heartache nearly cost me my life… and my horse.
The thing is, I haven’t quite decided if the former is worth saving.
I’ve done my best to run off every nurse my cousin sends up here. But then she sends me a companion instead, and everything changes.
It ain’t an ideal time for me to fall in love. Yet, love doesn’t care much about timing.
Rachel is sweet, strong, bossy, and damned if I don’t love to tease her.
She makes me feel like myself again… Like I was before when I had a whole heart, two good legs, and a brother.
I know she’s got her own ghosts, too. And I know she has every reason to leave me up here alone once I’m well again. But I’ll do everything in my power to convince my Goldilocks to stay.
Short enough to read in one sitting and long enough to satisfy, this trope-tastic, over-the-top little dual POV, standalone micro-romance is sweet, steamy, and full of old-fashioned cowboy nobility and goodness. The love is insta, and the ending is HEA guaranteed. Note: the stories in this series are shorter and spicier than those in the Real Good Men of Oklahoma series… Except for this one, which is longer than most of both.

I really loved reading about Rachel and Cyrus. I liked that they meet when Rachel comes to stay with Cyrus after he is hurt. I loved how caring Rachel was and that she wanted to take care of Cyrus. I am glad that Rachel was able to bring Cyrus around to trying to heal because they were so good together. I will definitely be rereading this again.

This one is a bit longer than her previous books but it is still an enjoyable read. I dont want to put the book down until I have finished reading this.

They come to an unspoken understanding. As Cy gets better, the attraction between them gets stronger. Cy doesn’t want her to leave. he opens up to her about his younger brother and his accident.

An outing back to town, leads them to her younger sister. Cy has her back when she has to face she can’t fix or save Sarah, but she an be there when she is ready to fix her self.
A sweet, steamy and emotional older man, younger women romance. Love the tie in to the first 2 books. A great epilogue plus a bonus news letter epilogue to wrap up their story. Love Daisy’s books. They are an automatic buy for me. I know I will get a great story.
Rachel owes her friend a favor so she ask her to move in with her cousin Cy and take care of him until he is healed from his injuries. Cy can not keep anyone to see after him as he is angry and rude and runs everyone off but Rachel is made of stronger stuff. Loved the chemistry between Cy and Rachel and all the other dirty talk and well you get the picture. Great book.
This a longer story than the norm in this fun series but as the author said the characters didn’t want to stop talking and it has made a book that is a total pleasure to read
Cyrus is a mountain man who almost killed his horse in a car wreck and he can’t get over the guilt. His cousin has sent a number of nurses to care for him and he has managed to run them off with his surly behaviour So she calls in the big guns and sends Rachel in mores as a companion somehow he can;t drive her away and if he is honest he actually wants her to stay even permanent is starting to sound good. Because when a mountain man finds the woman that is meant for him he goes all in to keep her.
This is a cute cowboy romance. I liked it.. It is a fun, quick read… great for a quiet afternoon..
