Rosie:
He was my first kiss, first love, and first heartbreak.
The prince to my modern-day fairytale and my brother’s best friend.
We loved so hard, so deep, and fiercely; but it wasn’t enough. His demons were too vicious. I tried everything to save him, be the light he needed to escape the dark. But, in the end, his demons, and the ones I didn’t know I had, won.
Today I’m getting married… And … not to the one I love.
Cillian:
Loving her was paradise. Losing her was inevitable. Alcohol destroyed my life, it corrupted my childhood and stole my adolescence. It robbed me of my future, the one that belonged to her. A man so broken could never hold someone so beautiful in his palms. She was—and still is, the only woman capable of healing the deepest of my scars, but I lost her. If only I had known the price she paid to save me, would rob her of the one thing she always wanted. Happily ever after.
Is it too late for Cillian and Rosie to get the fairytale ending? Or is their love, simply not enough?

Another fabulously amazing book by Shauna McDonnell! I absolutely love this world and the characters she created. Rosie and Cillian certainly didn’t have an easy road to their happily ever after. Their story was one of love, hope, struggle, consequences, and decisions made that paved that road. I cannot wait for the next book!
This is one kick ass, sexy, fun, rollercoaster romance, and I’d give it 10 stars if I could! I fell in love with Cillian from the beginning as his struggles hit home for me. My heart ached for him, I cried for him and laughed with him. This book has all the feels and I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good romance. Anyone who knows what it feels like to lose the love of your life and the struggles it brings with it! #bookboyfriend
Fall In Love With Love
As someone who has read a sick amount of rock star books, the 5 star variety have been few and far between lately, until now. I have my absolute favorite series in this genre and I am happy to add 4Clover to this list. Surprisingly since this book does not focus on band stuff, which is normally a peeve of mine. But with the right characters and awesome storytelling I am more than OK with it.
This is a complete book IMO. It had, snark, (Lily & Rosie excel in snark), humor, heartache, angst, anger but most of all love. Love between the 4 band members and their families as we are privy to their growing up together and the love between Cillian and Rosie. The fight to get to the HEA is why we read romance. Thank you Caryn for finding this gem. Getting my hands on Lily’s book next.
No Spoilers – just tidbits
I LOVED the picture in my head of the bathtub scene – heartbreaking and hilarious – BRAVO!
It’s official, I’m in love with Shauna’s words. This books was beautiful. I cried for Cillian & Rosie. I prayed they’d get their happily ever after & Shauna did not disappoint. That epilogue was amazing.
Now I’m excited for Connor & Ciaran’s books. 5 fabulous stars for this one!
This book was phenomenal! Thank goodness I read some reviews before I read the book. I needed to mentally prepare myself for the gut punch straight to the feels that this book delivered. Love picks up right where Luck left off, with Rosie’s wedding day. The majority of the book is told to us as a collection of past events that occurred between Rosie and Cillian. We get to see the rise and ultimate fall of their relationship, which was beautiful and also heart breaking. I absolutely loved this book and the way their story unfolded. The back and forth between present and past events worked really well. McDonnell also provides a playlist on Spotify to accompany the book. I love that each book in the series get a playlist and each chapter in the story has a particular song listed to set the mood. I have no idea where the story will lead us next but I will definitely be reading the next 4Clover book!
Omg… So loved this book. Cillian and Rosie so many obstacles they had! And the steamy scenes where amazing… My heart ached for Callian and Rosie… Such a great book that I binged read the whole thing all night..definitely a must read!
Holy hell if I had a physical book of this, I’d be cuddling it right now because my heart can’t catch a beat right now. Cillian and Rosie has put me through the motion of happiness and heartache back and forth.
The pain and the omg noooo moments. The genuine love they have for each other ran so deep, they were willing to sacrifice happiness down the line for another. However these two could not catch a break of having happiness to everly stay in peace without interferences! I love how some things were explained very seriously relating to a real life problem: alcoholism. It brings out on a perspective of what happens and means to what it does to you and your choices, Cillian shows just exactly that.
I love how Rosie is a hopeless romantic and just how powerful of a woman she is, willing to stick to her guns to protect her man! I love the other characters like Lily and Ciaran (I’m predicting a book 3 of them coming up? Maybe? ) To sum this up because I do not want to spoil if you loved the first book, the Irish rockstar Cian and Ella, you will love these two much more
