Can she trust in his love, when all she’s ever known is heartbreak?Alessandra “Ale” Ridley, lawyer extraordinaire, attentive best-friend, cool aunt, Star Wars expert, Fortnite guru…. is lonely. Ale has a good life, a great career, amazing friends who are more like family. Yet, despite her thriving life, past experiences have left her feeling vulnerable, afraid to believe she’s worthy of romance, … worthy of romance, let alone her own love story. She’s been the second choice, the one left pining. At this point, she’s ready to fade off into the background of life.
Until Nathan Prescott shows up.
With his ridiculously blue eyes, dark hair, tanned skin, and phenomenal body, so close to perfect that Ale is still not convinced he is not the poster child for Photoshop. He could have anyone. Ale can hardly believe he wants her.
Nathan says all the right things at the right time, and he isn’t running away from her quirky traits like so many others before him have done. In fact, he encourages her to become her true self, helping Ale to see that she deserves to be romanced, and to be someone’s first choice.
It all seems too good to be true. And, maybe … it is.

Beautiful and emotional book. The main character Ale is so relatable to readers. She is quarky, funny, and a little bit nerdy. She is also so kind, caring, and intelligent. Her being insecure about her looks only makes her that much more relatable. Love the HEA! She really deserved it after everything she went through. Nathan really proved himself at the end. He went through such great lengths to win her back. Such a wonderful story. Definitely a must read.
This was so much more than I expected. The story flowed so well and the relationship between Ale and Nathan developed so organically that I couldn’t put it down. It’s sweet, funny, and quirky. I fell in love with both Ale and Nathan. They grew and it was nice seeing how they were going to overcome their own obstacles to realize what they needed.
4.5 stars I really enjoyed this story. I loved this quirky heroine so much. She had hang ups and insecurities. I could relate to her so much. I liked that she was a force of nature in the courtroom. I loved her friends and family. This story had wonderful secondary characters. Georgie was the cutest kid. I love the Star Trek vs Star Wars competition. I love them both. Nathan was dreamy. He really took care of her. It’s what every woman wants in their goal for a relationship. I would totally be friends with Alessandra. The story was predictable to me. I guessed it right away. I still recommend this book. I want to look at the authors other works. I like her writing style.
This is a new author to me, and I will certainly be looking out for her work in the future! Ale and Nathan’s story is complex and intricate, as well as being sweet, humorous, emotional, heart-warming, and with unexpected twists and drama. I was intrigued throughout, and the only problem I had, and this is only my opinion, is that the story was very rushed in places. I look forward to reading more from this author.
I really enjoyed this story. I so didn’t guess the twist until it was revealed and then it made me gasp and then chuckle. I enjoyed watching the characters figure their way through everything that went on. I loved watching their interactions and George just steals whatever scene he is in! I would quite happily have spent more time with these characters as they sucked me so far into their world and I really enjoyed their company.
I really enjoyed this story.
Ale was so relatable and sweet she melted my heart – I laughed so hard at her geekiness! And Nathan? Damn where can I get one of them? No, seriously, where?
The romance flowed nicely even if i found it went a bit fast at first i understood why later in the book ( sorry peeps no spoiler)
I expected the book to go a certain way and it really managed to take me by surprised which doesn’t happen often in Romance so kudos for that.
The side characters were also well developed and i couldn’t help but be protective of some of them.
All in all a strong romance novel which i think will pleased all the romance lovers!
Friends like to help friends, even when they shouldn’t and even when you don’t know it. Alessandra and Nathan’s “chance” meeting at a bar starts a whirlwind of a romance. Falling in love in no time but of course there comes a twist that will rock their shiny bubble of bliss. His past comes out to her in an unsuspecting way and she has to choose how to deal. In turn she runs to her past and learns the truth about it.
A wonderful story with Nathan helping Alessandra learn that she can be loved even though she’s never truly felt it. But is his love enough to overcome obstacles and twist along the way to a forever…
This was my introduction to this author, and I’m so glad to have found her!
Ale and Nathan’s story is complicated, just like them. This book took me for one heck of a ride, and I enjoyed every second of the ups, downs and twists. There’s some really great humor, some painful realistic tension and drama, and the whole cast of characters was really well drawn.
Highly recommend this sweet, unexpected romance!

Alessandra’s fun, quirky, geeky, cool, smart, a lawyer, and all-around good friend. She’s had a crappy love life in the past, and has practically given up on love. Her friend Angela drags her out to a bar filled with suit-wearing professionals, where she meets Nathan. She’s so surprised when he wants to see her again. He encourages her to be true to herself, and she falls in love with him. He tells her he’s in love with her as well, and she’s convinced that he is. Everything is perfect. But if it seems too good go be true… Angela’s heart was in the right place when she tried to help Ale. But a friendship, a marriage, a working relationship – all destroyed. Along with Ale’s heart. She ghosts her life, and finds family in North Carolina, family that becomes close friends. And as she learns to trust and let her new family into her heart, she also has to trust and forgive her old family. This is my first read from this author – it certainly won’t be the last.

Great characters, humor, romance – a perfect book to cozy up and read. A very enjoyable book. I can usually read a book pretty well and know what is coming, but this one was incredible. Ups and downs. I could relate to the self-esteem theme between them so well. I’m looking forward to reading more by this author.

I just love it when a book can surprise me and R.G. Angel certainly managed to do that with Lovable. This book packs quite a punch with humor, sweet romance, and some heavy hitting emotion and even caught me off guard a time or two leaving me gasping. I adored the sprinkles of nerdiness and humor as much as I adored the love between Nathan and Ale.
As much as I really was hooked to this one there were moments that threw me a bit off track but not enough to really pull me out of the story. I would have loved to have seen more of a resolution at the end, but the epilogue certainly helped make up for it. All in all Lovable is a fantastic read that will have any romance lover swooning away.
Such a beautifully written book of overcoming your past and forgiving mistakes that were made with good intention. Ale and Nathan were a great pair in that they allowed each other to just be themselves and open up. However their relationship may have started, it blossomed into something real, something that neither expected. When having such low self worth, it is nice to finally be proven that you are, in fact, lovable. Wonderful read!
First read of R G Angel.. and I loved it.
Loved everything about this fast love story. The way Nathan loved her and gave her confidence. The way he proved his love. The healing they go through. The family.
Highly recommend
This was a great read I enjoyed the well developed and engaging characters and the storyline flowed smoothly from the beginning to the end.
