If you are a fan of New Orleans and cozy mysteries, this series is for you. The 3rd book does not disappoint. Roxy and all of her friends are back in this latest addition. Looking forward to book 4.
Roxie’s next guest, Meredith, an acclaimed medium is killed before she even checks in. This starts Roxie’s sleuthing. There are 5 suspects wIt’s 4 having multiple motives. This was the hardest case of all. I couldn’t even figured it out! Roxie learns a lot about herself in this book. She finally realizes how far she’s come. I love this series and all the characters! This was the best book in the series so far! I highly recommend this book and this series
Roxy was very excited to have a well known medium, Meredith, staying at the Inn with her husband and her assistant George.
A seance gone wrong leaves someone in spirit.
Jealousies, greed, anger and fear are revealed for each possible suspect. Roxy will need a great deal of faith and mixtape to find a safe resolution for herself this time, and maybe the strength to trust her heart in more ways than one.
Intense KU read!
Roxy and her pals are involved in another investigation. When a medium was murdered in a dark, locked room with only a few people there with her, Roxy knows she has to figure out who murdered the medium. She tangles again with Detective Johnson and get arrested. Nat seems to be taken with one of the suspects and Roxy doesn’t know who to trust. Is something developing between Sam and Roxy? Can’t wait to see what happens next.
I loved the first two books in the Roxy Reinhardt series. This third one is a great story too. If you like books that are well written….without multiple errors…..with well-developed characters and a story line that will keep you interested right to the end, you will love Alison Golden’s books. I have read all of her books and have not been disappointed in any of them. I look forward to many more in this series.
Another great addition to the Roxy Reinhardt series. It’s so interesting watching Roxy, the main character, grow from a meek shy girl to a strong, decision-making young woman. Her strength comes from her desire to help others. The setting of New Orleans is the perfect location for adventures, and the storylines blend together smoothly. If you like stories of close friendships, loyalty and new beginnings, then this book is for you.
Roxy and the gang are back in the 3rd book of the series. When a well-known psychic is murdered in a closed room séance, there are only a few suspects for Roxy and her friends to investigate. As they dig deeper, it appears there were multiple reasons someone might want the victim dead. There were plenty of twists and turns in this well-written addition to the Roxy Reinhardt series. While I had part of the mystery solved, I didn’t get everything 100% figured out. It was interesting to see a different side to Nat in this book. She is a much more complicated character than I originally thought. I’m glad to see Roxy and Sam taking their relationship to the next level. I like Detective Johnson less and less with each story. He is an obnoxious man. If you enjoy cozy mysteries, I urge you to read this series and others written by the talented Alison Golden.
Roxy co-owner of the Funky Cat Hotel Boutique is once again embroiled in a murder mystery . This time one of her guests is shot dead in a dark room during a seance
Not one to let a mystery stay a mystery, Roxy and her madcap friends along with help from some ‘friends’ of the spirit world try to solve the mystery of whodunit. Entertaining as all of Alison Golden’s books, she has written another good book of mystery and murder in New Orleans.
A well-known psychic books Roxy’s entire inn, but doesn’t live long enough to sleep there. As expected from this author, this is a lively tale with an interesting plot and believable characters. The skillful writing moves the story along at a quick pace. I’m looking forward to future books. I received this book free and chose to make a voluntary, unbiased review.
Another great series by Alison Golden. Louisiana Lies is the third Roxy Reinhardt mystery set in New Orleans, and they just keep getting better. This story has Roxy and crew deep in the psychic and spiritual world of the Big Easy. Without any spoilers, Roxy is again faced with tracking a killer. With the help of friends, old and new, she wins out, but it is close. As much as I enjoyed the story, I love the atmosphere. Although I left Nawlins 20 years ago, the places and descriptions brought back fond memories, and indeed have me thinking about a trip. If only I could stay at the Funky Cat! I heartily recommend this entire series, and look forward to the next book. I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.
