He’s her good boy gone bad… Rockstar Ryan Waters has always been the responsible one in his band, Warning Sign. The guy who kept an eye on business while chasing his musical dreams with his best friends. And his closest friend lately just happens to be their tour bus driver, Denver Casey.Denver Casey is on the run from her past, and she’s careful to stay within her boundaries. Until Ryan becomes … her boundaries. Until Ryan becomes her partner in crime and one by one, those boundaries start to crumble. He’s the exact opposite from the guy she’s tried so desperately to leave behind.
Then Ryan turns up missing. And her terror that he’s hurt—or worse—leads to something dark and intoxicating. They both love adrenaline, except this time, the addiction is each other.
Falling for her best friend means putting everything on the line, win or lose. But if her hidden past comes back to haunt them, she might also end up risking her life.
And Ryan’s.

Enjoyed characters and story even if their kink is not mine. Good writing.
Lost Lyric (Found in Oblivion #4) was a great read by Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott. Ryan Waters is a rockstar who has always been the responsible person in his band, Warning Sign. His closest friend at the moment is their tour bus driver, Denver Casey. She is on the run from her past. She’s built up walls that Ryan starts to crumble. Ryan turns up missing and Denver feels terror which morphs into hurt. She knows that she is putting everything on the line by falling for her best friend. I really enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.
This is a wonderful story that easily kept my interest. I loved the first half of the book! Getting to know the characters and the band. But the second half? Things really take a turn for these characters.
I loved Denver’s name! So cool that she is a girl! That Ryan! He isn’t a quitter and I enjoyed that about him. He felt that connection to Denver..pursued it and didn’t give up on her. So sweet!

Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott rock another fantastic novel set in their Oblivion world. I am a huge fan of rockstar romance and love this series and the Oblivion world they created. Each book in this series features a different band member of “Warning Sign” and up and coming rock band. I recommend reading and/or listening to the series in order, not only are the books awesome but you’ll meet the characters along the way and know their back stories as they appear in each others stories. This book is Ryan Water and Denver Casey’s story, the two have become good friends. Ryan is always about his music and instruments, he can play just about anything and brings it on stage. Off stage he likes to have fun, at times maybe too much fun. Denver is the tour bus driver, she has secrets to hide and there is a bit of a mystery to who she is. One night she is worried about Ryan and sets out to look for him, she finds him in an alley badly beaten. Not wanting to face his bandmates they agree to get a room at a hotel and it turns out to be a night of taking their friendship to a whole new level. We learn things about Ryan and some of his abilities at a card table, we also learn he likes a little kink and so does Denver. But Denver is afraid to get too close to anyone so she pushes him away but Ryan does not give up on her. This is a great friends to lovers romance, the story is cleverly plotted with plenty of drama, angst, heartfelt and emotional moments and some hot romance. Denver’s past comes back in to her life and brings danger with it and her secrets are revealed. Cari Quinn and Taryn Elliott, thank you for another awesome story I loved every word and minute of it.
And for the wonderful narration, Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross are talented narrators and voice artists. They continue to do an amazing job portraying these characters. They have a complete understanding of the characters persona and perform each role with perfection, sounding believable and just as I picture them to sound. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another fabulous listen
Book 4 in the Found in Oblivion series does not disappoint. Denver and Ryan are best friends. And when Ryan goes missing, what else is Denver supposed to do but find him. But his troubles are the beginning of her past catching up with them both. And what about those sparks. The ones you aren’t supposed to have with your best friend. Those may be the best part of this best friends story. As always, Cari and Taryn have you on the edge of your seat and your heart pounding. This can be read as a standalone, but I suggest reading the other books as well. Cari and Taryn do such a great job of interweaving their character’s storylines that you want to read all the goodness.
Well, damn, I didn’t think I could love Cari & Taryn’s rockers anymore than I already do, but I was wrong, because I am absolutely, 200% in love with Ryan and Denver. Even Tris, Randy & Juliet aren’t as awesome together as Ryan and Denver in Lost Lyric. Denver is Warning Sign’s bus driver, and Ryan’s best friend. They’ve been good until recently when Ryan started disappearing on them. And now, she finds him beat to all hell in a dirty alley. She has no idea what’s up with her best friend, but she knows it’s nothing good. Can Denver rescue her best friend, and the man she loves, the one she will fall in love with (if she hasn’t already)?
The journey Ryan and Denver take from friends to lovers is steamy and sweet with the underpinnings of darkness from secrets of Denver’s past coming to haunt them. I think this is possibly Cari and Taryn’s sexiest book to date. Ryan is a dirty, dirty man with a hint of kink in his soul and a liking for gentle domination and bondage. Denver is more than his equal in her sexual confidence and her need for someone to control her in the bedroom, but not out of it. And Ryan is just the man for the job. He’s not controlling, he loves her, but he doesn’t want to control her every thought and move, he just wants her heart (and other fun parts) because he can’t get her out of his head.
If you like your rock star romance with steam, and layered, complex characters, Lost Lyric (and all of Cari & Taryn’s rock star romances) should be on your Kindle, now! And be on the lookout for Perfect Pitch (Molly’s story), because the blurb included at the end of Lost Lyric is hot!
A really nice, sexy friends to lovers story. I always enjoy this duos writing. It has some really hot scenes throughout. The push & pull between Denver & Ryan kept the tension going as did waiting to find out what she was hiding from her past!!
For some weird reason this book seemed to drag on for me. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the writing, storyline or characters so I think it must just be me!!! I’m overly tired so I think that’s the issue, anyway that’s the reason I’ve only rated it 3.5 stars but it’s definitely worth reading, I’m certainly looking forward to reading the next book in the series

Definitely a great rocker romance. One I will read again.
