Sabine, “Winterfox,” was a Gaia witch with enhanced power from an explosion as a child. In addition, she was a vigilante. The Lost King, an urban legend and also a vigilante, had secured her in his “fort” to protect her. Good story with some very reclusive, but well defined characters. Good read!

While this is in the Chosen world it doesn’t seem to blend with the other books in the series
Sabine is a vigilante she rights wrongs but she has been captured and imprisoned. Roam the lost king rescues her but Sabine feels like she has gone from one prison to another wanting to get back to her grandmother she escapes and runs Roman has to go after her putting them both in danger As they shelter from a storm they get to one another and the attraction between them grows Do they have a future together and will they both survive You will have to read to see
Another action-packed great addition to the series if you have read and enjoyed the other books in this series you will really enjoy Sabine and Roman’s story it was a super read that kept me hooked right until the end.
I found this book to be a very good read. It has a great combination of suspense, danger and romance.

Another great book to the series. The author does a great job building and developing both the story and characters , adding twists, turns and secrets throughout. She brings tons of action and suspense along with the romance. It’s brought to life with her perfectly painted scenes and moves quickly and smoothly. I enjoyed reading Sabine and Roman’s (aka the Lost King)story and would recommend this book.

3.5 stars
What worked for me:
-I liked how they both secretly admired the other
-the action was exciting
What did not work for me:
-the steamy scene arrived very late in the book and it wasn’t very detailed
-there wasn’t a lot of physical touching or teasing
-the King’s unresolved family issues were disappointing

Lola Gabriel continues to astonish and amaze with this series. In this, the third book of “The Chosen” series, she gives us Sabine, aka Winterfox, who is a vigilante who operates outside the law. When her identity is found out and she’s kidnapped another vigilante, this time a masked on known as “The Lost King” comes to her rescue. That just turned up the excitement and heat. These two must learn to work together, their lives depend on it. The drama, twists, and turns, along with the emotional angst took me to another level with this one. I couldn’t put it down. This book was given to me and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Another great addition to this new series. This one seems to take place in a different realm. Sabine is a vigilante, one of the best. When she is captured, then rescued, she’s not sure if she went from one prison another. The King has more secrets than she does. An escape and another rescue bring these two even closer together. Evil is stalking them. They will have to learn to trust one another if they want to come out alive. As feelings begin to grow between them, Roman pulls away. Does she trust her feelings? Will he ever open up? The characters are great, the writing is smooth and the world that’s been created will suck you in. I definitely recommend this. The Chosen series revolves around Gaia witches. Each story follows a different couple and their personal journey. I’ve determined that they can be read in any order without difficulty. I’m not sure what the author has in store for the future, but I would love for the characters to all come together at some point. That could be very interesting.

The Lost King by Lola Gabriel is an exciting novel with some suspenseful twists. Ms. Gabriel delivers well-written stories with wonderful characters that grab your attention quickly. This story is a tale of two Robin Hood like vigilantes.
Sabine is the Winterfox. She works for the people the law won’t. She’s always masked so her identity is unknown, until its not. When she’s kidnapped by the Lost King she’s as two goals, find out who he is and escape.
The Lost King is a badass vigilante – as feared as much as he’s respected, a myth like King Arthur. No one knows his story or who he is.
When he kidnaps the Winterfox to save her life it gets harder to keep his identity secret, save her life and let her go.
I would have preferred to have a chapter or two with more background on Sabine and Roman to make the story a little more complete. I’m still giving four-stars for being a good, enjoyable and entertaining story.

Lola Gabriel is a wonderfully creative writer whose imagination and writing style keeps me reading page after page. I love her characters and the twists she adds to the storylines. However, this book left me with unanswered questions. The story hooked me from the beginning, the characters completely riveting. As the storyline continued plot extras were added that were not dealt with in this book. I’m unsure if this book was the first in a series, or if I’ve read it out of order, but for me I can only issue 3 stars due to the book finishing without answering my questions.

Lola Gabriel has written a book that has twists and turns and a little mystery.
Sabine is the Winterfox and she is on a mission but she gets caught. The Lost King (Roman) comes in and saves her and she thinks that she has been kidnapped by him. She needs to get home to her grandmother so she tries to escape but she is caught. She tells them she will escape no matter how long it takes her. Sabine gets her chance and gets out but Roman comes after her. Unknown to her she has put herself and Roman in danger. They make it through the night but Roman doesn’t know where they are and they need to find shelter from the cold and snow. As Roman tries to find out where they are Sabine finds a cave they can stay in. As they spend time together, their connection becomes stronger. They make it back to Roman’s home and Sabine decides to stop trying to escape.
Can Roman keep Sabine safe from the people who want to hurt her?
Can Sabine stay put until the danger to her is over?
Will Roman and Sabine get together or will she go back home.
To get all the answers, you will need to read the book, With all the twists and turns it will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end.
I would recommend this book to anyone.

I liked how strong and independent Sabine was and that Roman is also a strong character. There was enough going on to keep me interested to know more but not feeling overwhelmed. The chemistry was also good.

Sabine is also known as the Winterfox and is being chased by Mad Jack and his men. Roman, The Lost King, has hidden his identity to carry out his missions. Kidnapping Sabine may be the only way to save her, but she is motivated to escape. If only he wasn’t so appealing. The Lost King is an exciting romance with strong characters that I recommend.

Two independent individuals, two peas in a pod, two persons who inspired each other to do more and do better, for the good of others… One great story.
