“EEEEEEEK!” So that right there is literally what came out of my mouth as I read the last line of this book. I have so many words but will NOT give away one suspenseful, intense moment of this book! Here is what I will say, you will join our Lost Boys and friends as they continue to try to unravel their past as well as all that Dr. McDonald has done to them. This book is full of the return of old players and a few new ones. Some questions will be answered, and guaranteed your jaw will drop as you read this book! So many new things will come, new questions, new twists and new people. Your heart will ache, it will soar and in the end you will possibly shriek out loud as I did and wish February would arrive so we can have Long Lost in our hands!
Cara – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
I’ve said it before but every time I read a book in this series or the previous series it feels like watching an action movie. There is so much going on with The Lost Boys, they are all trying hard to figure out who they are, what is happening, and what will their future look like. Robert is a lost boy who was tortured, brain washed, and held prisoner by evil people who wanted to create super soldiers to do as they want with them. Ariel is the team psychologist but she also an ex MI 6 operative and she’s trying hard to help these Lost Boys but she falls for Robert hard. There are so many twists and turns yet we find out a little more about each guy and what the people after them and the evil doctor’s data are up to. I loved Rob and Ari together they had great chemistry and towards the end I found myself extremely invested in Ezra and Kim’s story. I can’t wait for Tucker’s because it’s going to be very interesting to see how his situation affects them all, but I really want Ezra and Kim together.
The lost Boys saga continues. I was so wrapped up in Ariel and Robert’s back and forth, all the secrets that were being kept, what was going on with Sasha and Dimitri, that when they showed up with that one person, I was ready for the explosion.
Then, just as fast, I realized, oops, wrong person. That took this book in a completely different direction for me. I immediately didn’t like or trust the new person.
Then, all hell broke loose. It was great to have both Ian and Theo as part of this book. The entertainment was off the charts. Solo and Beck, the sarcasm, the witty banter, and the clever dialogue was truly engaging. The narration was excellent, and I always enjoy Ian’s blunt, honest, sarcastic commentaries.
This story had romance, steamy scenes, action, suspense, danger, and laughter all rolled in together. Once again, Ryan West narration is so dope, I can’t imagine anyone else in that role.
A long audiobook, but worth it. I would give it 4.5 stars. Thank you Hoopla.
Ryan West as the narrator is amazing! I think I would listen to a book just for him and my totality of experience with him are these Lexi Blake books.
Which, in their own rights, are great. A perfect mix of action, romance and steam, I love the stories. While standalone, I appreciate the story lines more after listening to the first 2 in the series. In this one, Ariel and Robert need to fight against obstacles and try to push forwarding in helping the men get their memories back. It always feels like 1 step forward, 1 step back but I love following along!
Another great story
I enjoyed this very much. Robert and Ari finding together at last, I’ve been waiting for this.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
Good dialogues
Suspense, action a lot of feelings and some more answers to the questions but not all the answers.
The characters is now well known to me and it feels like visiting old friends, I like that feeling
This is part of a great series but it’s HFN for this couple. I do however recommend starting at the beginning to get the most of it.
5 glorious stars
It has been a while since I read the last book in this series but once I started LOST IN YOU, I felt like no time had passed, I was completely engulfed into the story and was at the edge of my seat with anticipation at certain points of the story.
Ariel and Robert’s love for one another took a while to work out especially with a humongous curve ball that was in their way, but if you have read the previous two books you will come to expect the unexpected and WOW was this curve-ball unexpected.
I definitely recommend reading this series in order of release and I must say I am soooo glad I had the next book, LONG LOST, already on my kindle (ARC copy of that one) because with the way this one ended I would have been dying waiting for Tucker’s book. Especially since I fell in love with him the first time I met him.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and enjoyed it. RYAN WEST did a really good job with bringing the story to life. If you have Audible Escape you can listen to it for free since it’s included in the package.
Happy Reading!!!
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
This one picks up where book 2 ended with the “Lost Boys” trying to remember what they lost from their memories. Now they are in Germany following a lead and talking to people who worked with Dr. McDonald. Most of what they learn is rumors but some are worth looking into farther.
Robert and Ariel are growing closer with each passing day. Dr. Ariel Adisa is the psychologist hired by McKay-Taggart to help the men regain their lost memories.
What will happen when someone from Robert’s past shows up? Will this person be able to help the “Lost Boys” in any way? Can they regain their memories before it is too late? What happens if Levi gets the information before they do?
I really love this series, it is filled with suspense, intrigue and a love story along the way. I can’t wait to see what happens next. If you like romantic suspense with a twist then this series is for you and I hope you love it as much as I do.

That was heart-pounding, heart-wrenching, and heart-stopping! It was sweet, sexy, scary, nerve-wracking, and calming. It had everything a romantic suspense should have, and was everything any hype I had heard about the story, and even more. To say I loved, adored, and completely immersed myself in the story, the characters, is an understatement. This book was the highlight of my day, my week, my month, and my year. A definite jewel in the authours crown
Trying to catch my breathe….WOW! This story has it ALL and then some! “Lost in You” is the third book in Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten series. The suspense, intrigue and mystery continue throughout, the sexual scenes are HOT, and there are BDSM elements. There isn’t any story that I have read from Lexi Blake that has ever disappointed me! And, her BDSM scenes are so well written that one learns the beauty of this lifestyle. This can be read as a standalone but it is more enjoyable if you read the books in order to appreciate the interaction with all the characters. There are plot threads from the earlier books, so reading, the previous books in The Forgotten series first would be good and reading the original Masters and Mercenaries series will enlighten your enjoyment, as characters and events do carry over from there as well.
This is Robert’s book! As with all the forgotten men, who have had their memories erased, he is searching to find out about his life and who he was before he was saved. They had their memories erased so they could be made into super soldiers with loyalty only to Dr. McDonald. So, we know these men are Super HOT, sexy, Dominant Alphas. Along comes Ariel, who they know as a psychologist but has a hidden past and secrets about their current mission.
Robert is the leader of the Lost Boys and is starting to get flashes of his previous life. Ariel is a strong female who is protective for the people she loves.
Their conflicts keep us turning the pages because we want to discover what happens next. Their attraction has been electrical since they first set eyes on each other and we MUST find our where that is going! Ariel keeping secrets; Robert is hesitant to start a relationship; his loyalty to his men; questioning who is telling the truth; this simple Mission that has turned into sooooo much more – Are you interested, yet? I know that I couldn’t put the book down from page one!
Lexi Blake is a talented author, each story is well told, filled with caring, romance and is fast paced. There are twists and turns, the characters have depth and we care about them. TUCKER’S STORY IS NEXT!” I am so excited about this!! Thank You, Lexi Blake!!!
OMGee! Yep, a cliffhanger. We have to wait until February to find out what happens next in the Forgotten series. Yes, some questions were answered but many more have been brought to light. However, Lexi is forgiven because her awesome stories keep us entertained. And frankly, I don’t want the MT series to end…like ever. I keep hoping she will write other stories about all our favorite characters. Don’t you think that’s a great idea?
I know I haven’t said much about “Lost in You” but I really hate to spoil the surprise. I will say that it is yet another fantastic story in the MT series. You definitely want to read it. It has the usual … kinky, sexy, hunky, suspenseful, twisted, witty, romantic, plots we have come to love.
Happy Reading:)
So freaking good. Another amazing story in the The Forgotten Series! Robert was everything I hope for and more! Don’t even get me started on Ariel. Just fabulous and enthralling.
Robert is in charge of the Lost Boys experimented on and rescued McKay/Taggart team. They are meeting in Munich to try and find lost lives and memories. Ariel has been helping in their recovery and they both want this relationship go to the next level. You will be gripped by the developments in the Lost boys story. This story takes a giant leap forward in finding out the back story and it may be more than some can cope with.
Must read the beginning of series . . . there was an underlying story that needs to be read . . .
Another series that I have not had the pleasure of reading but it has now been place on my radar and therefore is now on my reading list in the very near future. I found me a very hot, sexy, alpha male that had a life wanted to reclaim and a brotherhood he wanted to hold dear, but there was one woman that took precedence over it all. I am the first to say that you could most certainly read this one with out the other, because that is what I did, but I would also say go back and read them all then come back and read this one. the appreciation for the story was that much more. These are not little short reads. They are deep and involved. You will find yourself getting lost in them. You will also see a connection between a group of men and woman that will have you wanting the same thing. I very much enjoy the writing style of Lexi Blake. Lexi Blake on a mission with danger, secrets, past, and skills put to very good use well that is more. Action. Drama. Intensity. Chemistry. I most certainly must go back and read the two prior in the series and then re-read this one.
Know how some days you just need to get lost in a book? Well, be prepared to do just that with Lost in You.
You’re going to love the romance between Robert and Ariel. Love their connection—their intimacy even though they’ve spent months denying their feelings.
But what happens when the fantasy becomes reality—when Robert and Ariel finally give in and give their relationship a go. Will Ariel find a way to reveal her past—her area of “expertise” that has nothing to do with her psychology degree? Or will that past break them up before they can even start?
I truly cannot read these Masters & Mercenaries: The Forgotten books fast enough! I’ve been waiting for Robert and Ariel’s story to unfold—and I loved everything about it—yes, even the parts where I may have yelled a few unkind words at my Kindle hoping Robert and Ariel would hear me. LOL
Absolutely love this series. Would highly recommend
Lexi Blake’s Masters and Mercenaries: The Forgotten series is winning big with me. Not only is each book a look into the ‘after’ for each of the Lost Boys, men that have been rescued from the clutches of Dr. Hope McDonald, but there is romance and suspense galore, plus the very Lexi stamp on each one that makes them all fantastic.
Robert McLellan and Ariel Adisa have a deep connection, one that Robert is afraid to explore, and Ari can’t wait to pursue. Burdened by the things he was forced to do while under Dr. McDonald’s control, and unable to remember his life before, Robert wants to protect Ari by keeping her at a distance. Ari, though, is definitely more than able to hold her own, with a past that has made her the strong woman that she is. When the two are paired to go on a mission to Munich, facts about Robert and the other Lost Boys become known, and the foundation is laid for more revelation as the series continues to unfold.
Like all of Lexi’s books, LOST IN YOU is a sort of team event, in that, not only is the focus on the main characters, but on all of those that support them, as well, giving readers the opportunity to get to know everyone. This is a big help for me personally, because there are just so many of them, and this keeps everything fresh for me. This book can be read as a standalone, but it truly does help to have read the original series, as well as previous books in this one, to understand what’s what. That being said, LOST IN YOU, like the rest of Lexi’s books, is non-stop action and suspense, with plenty of romance and serious steam to boot. 4.5 stars for this one…I can’t wait to see what’s coming next for the team.
Robert McClellan is a “Lost Boy”, one of a group of men experimented on by Hope McDonald. He doesn’t remember who he used to be, just knows the man he is now. He is the leader of the Boys and helps and protects them from outside forces trying to take them in for nefarious reasons. When he was first rescued by McKay-Taggart, and Knight, he was offered a job with MT. Instead he chose to go to London and live at The Garden. There he met Ariel Adisa, a psychologist who works for Damon Knight. He believes he fell for her the minute he saw her. She had the same feelings but had to keep it professional. Now after an incident in Toronto, they decide to take their relationship to the next level. They along with a team, head to Germany to locate someone who had worked with Dr. McDonald and to gather intel from Kronberg. This was the easy part. They also had to locate the traitor within the group who keeps providing information to Levi Green.
I couldn’t put this book down. In this story, we primarily see the development of the relationship between Ariel and Robert. The past of both characters comes into play in this story and it is a case of “be careful what you wish for” and they have to work through how it will affect the direction they head in together. While trying to work on their relationship, they have to deal with flashbacks, traitors, allies or foes, and trying to find one of the people who worked closely with Hope McDonald. I love how Ms Blake includes characters from her other stories. She includes humor, BDSM, twists and turns, revelations and more questions just when you think you get answers. This was a suspenseful roller coaster ride I didn’t want to get off of. It was a real page turner. It was hard to write this review without adding spoilers. The ending was a little taste of what is going to happen in the next book which is Tucker’s story. I can’t wait.
4 stars. This was a good book! Lost in You is book three of The Forgotten series, a spin-off of the the Masters and Mercenaries series about the Lost Boys. This is Robert and Ariel’s story. Robert is one of the Lost boys who had his memory erased by the evil Dr. McDonald several years ago. He has been working for McKay Taggart since then, as they work to find out who they all are, what happened to them and how to restore their memory. Ariel is the psychologist that has worked with their team, but has gradually moved away from treating the Lost boys herself as she has become closer to them, become their friend and has gotten too close to be objective. She and Robert felt a connection and an attraction as soon as they met, have grown closer and are finally ready to give a relationship between them a shot. But nothing is that simple. The group is on a mission in Munich, when things get complicated and dangerous. People from the past show up to threaten their future and no one’s lives will ever be the same again.
I really enjoyed this book. This series has been building up to and foreshadowing a big, tragic event that happens in Munich. In this book, we finally know what happened. There is a lot of emotion, excitement and suspense. The story is fast paced and an easy read. I did find the second half of the book to be heavier on the suspense than the romance. I felt like the romantic resolution was kind of vague, but I’m sure we will have more resolution in future books. I really liked Ariel and Robert together and found them a good match. I would have liked a more detailed communication between the couple to feel that all of their issues were resolved. Also, there was one thing that I did not love. Still, I was okay with how it all worked out.
Overall, Lost in You was a great addition to this exciting, suspenseful, sexy series. This book adds good progress to the ongoing series story arc. I can’t wait for more from this series and from Lexi Blake in the future.
This book was exactly what I’ve come to expect from Ms. Blake and so much more. If you’re a fan, you get what I’m saying, if you haven’t read her by all means dive in! They just seem to keep getting better and better and I can’t wait for the next one………….
“Time is a funny thing. We always think we have time, and then we open our eyes and wonder where it all went.”

This is what I look for in Lexi Blake’s stories—the hidden wisdom (an Easter egg if you will)—spoken through the character, but meant for the reader. Sighs.
Lost in You is the third installment of Lexi Blake’s The Forgotten series and focuses on Lost Boy Robert McClellan and the love story between him and psychotherapist Ariel Adisa. As with all of the books in this series, it is not a standalone. Any reader new to the series is well advised to read (at the very least) the two prior The Forgotten novels. I’ve read all of Lexi’s fabulous Masters & Mercenaries series, and even with all that, it took me a good thirty percent of the book before I could settle in and just read the story. And this story is one great ride!
Both Robert and Ariel are well-written—the reader gets into their heads quickly. The story is full of action and packed with some serious espionage thrill. Characters from Dallas and London return to aid Robert and Adisa, and finally, one huge secret is revealed (my lips are sealed). My only disappointment is the way it ended—without spoiling, let me say that I felt there was more to Robert’s story that should have played out in this book.
Lexi Blake fans will love this installment. I certainly did.
