“Irresistible characters, fresh voice and a hero to die for…what’s there not to like!” Jamie Scott, Award Winning Author When Paige Walsh attends the annual Scottish Highland Games on Grandfather Mountain in North Carolina and makes a deal with a Gypsy, little does she know that her illustrious plans to find a Hunky Highlander for her own would backfire. Instead of one man wearing a kilt, she … kilt, she somehow ends up in the past, facing an entire clan of them.
Gavin de Grey, the current laird of Greystone Castle, located on the Northwest shore of Loch Morar, is cursed. Or so he had been told on numerous occasions throughout his life by his family and also the women he bedded. Sentenced to death for a paltry crime or two, mayhap three, Gavin would tend to agree. However, after weeks of imprisonment he believes his luck may have just turned around. When an old crone strikes a deal with him for his freedom in return for the smallest of favors, he cannot refuse.
Together, Gavin and Paige must not only battle against their differences, but also, their growing feelings for one another. Will Gavin make the ultimate sacrifice to break the curse or will he damn them all for eternity?

This is a Trilogy and like Outlander, Harry Potter, Shades of Gray, True Blood, Twilight, Vampire Diaries, Vampire Academy, Hunger Games, etc the story is interconnected. And no, it is not like any of those books, however, it is an ongoing story just like all of those books.

Pretty bad! The author needs to re- write this book and the editor should be fired! The concept was good but the characters were unlikable and not developed. The plot needed a lot of work. There were a few bones and no muscle, tendons, or flesh. Even the sex scenes were bad.
a deal that she made with a fortune teller while drunk sends Paige back in time to find a Highlander of her own. This is a book in a series so it does not reach a conclusion at the end.
Read two in the series and loved them
It was so easy to get in to I loved it and can’t wait to the third book
A messy plot line and I didn’t care much for the main characters. The ending was uninspired.
Just “ok” compared to other time travels I have read.
Ok story , not great
I liked the book but I think it could have been expanded in a little more. Maybe I need to read the whole series before I comment because I kinda felt like it dropped right at the end of the book.
This is good story but really dislike when you can tell the story isn’t over. This is part one of a larger story that leaves the reader with loads of questions. Not my cup of tea but it was a good story if you don’t mind the wait for the next portion…
Interesting storyline couldn’t wait to get to next chapter. So good i purchase next in series
Really liked this book it’s a good one would recommend it to anyone who likes Highlander books
This is probably the worst book I’ve ever tried to read. Very poorly written, characters not developed, etc. Don’t waste your time or money on this one!
Could not get into this book
I had many giggle fits reading the response of the main female character Paige. It sounded way too familiar! Quick read and a fun and sexy story. Only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was it ended too abruptly. I appreciate leaving you hanging and wanting more but I felt it stopped mid paragraph.
I expected more oc thd characters and development. A bit co n fuzzy on the storyline.
A good book. Can’t go wrong with this one !
I was a little upset with the ending and discovering it was a series.
I liked the story just wished it had only told half of it. The other half of the story isn’t even out yet so I will have to wait to find out the rest. A little disappointing. The story itself was very good.
Too short…stops when it becomes interesting…so you have to buy the next installment
Ho hum. The characters in this book need to be fleshed-out. The basic story line is good, but there is not enough substance there to entice me to read book 2.
