Could not get into. Did not finish.
To hard to catch my interest in the first 5 chapters .
This was an interesting story about murder, deception and greed. the characters were well developed and believable. The ending was a bit strange.
Love this author!
I really enjoyed the story, I knew her husband was wicked, but didn’t realize how much. Great read!
Great story
Sometimes difficult to keep up with the story.
Good book
I love every Celina Grace book I read. Always engrossing.
Kept reading hoping for a great ending but was disappointed
It was ok
Good read, kept me guessing.
Tried to get into this because I like this author’s other books. This was not up to par. Couldn’t finish. Very rare for me.
I had a hard time figuring out what was real or imagined. Ending left me feeling the same. A good psychological read
Loved the twists and turns of plot. I had to keep reading all evening because I really wanted to know how it would all end.
it was a tragic story and I cannot believe how the main character survived and lived to be an adult and a wife and mother. What strength she showed. I could not put the book down and highly recommend it …. especially to anyone who spent any time in the foster system or was adopted. A great and courageous story. Celeste Robetson
Suspenseful with a surprising twist!
I might have missed something but not sure exactly what the ending meant. Made the story more open-ended and subject to interpretation than I’d like.
Thoroughly enjoyed this dark novel, wondering what was real and what was a figment of the protagonist’s troubled mind — until the closing chapters. At that point, the author pulled several unrealistic rabbits out of her hat, turned a few characters inside out and left me muttering my dissatisfaction at the “resolution” of the story.
Great Read
