Wendy doesn’t remember anything about Neverland—or the experiments done on her there as a child. Seven years later, all she wants is a normal life, but shape-shifting shadows plague her dreams and turn her life into a waking nightmare. When the shadows attack at a football game and a boy disappears right in front of her, she realizes these wraith-like shadows are real. They’re not just … haunting—they’re hunting.
A mysterious boy named Peter, his foul-mouthed sidekick, and a band of misfit boys intervene before Wendy faces a similar fate. But can they trust Wendy enough to take her to Neverwood Academy and reveal all of their hidden secrets when she’s hiding a secret of her own, or will the dreaded Red Skulls find her and drag her back to Neverland?

If you’re a Peter Pan fan then you’ll like this book and the whole series really. It’s a modern twist on that classic tale with interesting characters and a spell-binding plot. You won’t want to put it down.
Another treasure from Chanda Hahn! I LOVE this re-telling of Peter Pan! Each character is expertly written and perfectly portrayed.
A reimagining of my favorite childhood story, Lost Girl has everything: action, mystery, adventure, romance. I loved matching who was who with JM Barrie’s original tale and loved Chanda Hahn’s modern take on it with very surprising and thrilling twists. We have a crew of kick ass characters and not so lovable evil villains. This is a perfect retreat for any day! Looking forward to the next edge of your seat, screaming inside full of excitement and wow factor installment. You never fail to impress, Chanda Hahn!
I adored this story. A retelling of Peter Pan, utilising all the characters, but in a modern setting, with a great scientific twist.
The characters aren’t necessarily true to type, which was a breath of fresh air, and kept me on my toes. I will be reading the next book in the series. The bad guys are bad, and the good guys leave you guessing. Strong female characters, and enough things that go bump in the night to make your skin tingle.
It’s probably clear that I’ve started down a fantasy kick and getting into it late here I’m in love with these fairy tale retellings. Especially anything that has to do with Alice in Wonderland (which is my all-time favorite novel) or Peter Pan (which comes in third. Sherlock Holmes falls in between there) Lost Girl follows the story of Peter Pan, but does it in an original way. It’s well written, so well written I got mad at my kindle when the story ended. Lost Boy is next on the list.
I am a fan of all things Peter Pan. This book was a disappointing take on Wendy and Neverland.
Great interpretation of Peter Pan story!
I don’t even know how to explain it….SO GOOD. Perfect for 1O and up.
Wow this book kept me reading for days until I finished it. But i must say, it a cliffhanger!
I always enjoy Hahn’s books. Another good start to a new series.
Really good book can’t wait to finish the series.
nice ass fucking book
Fun take on a popular fairytale!
This was a great different take of Neverland and I loved it. The Lost boys where fun and I loved Tink and her gadgets. Peter and Wendy were my favorites and I couldn’t put this book down. I’ve always been a fan of Peter Pan and this was so much better than the story I grew up with.
Yet another fabulous read from Chanda Hahn. I’ve loved every one of her series and Lost Girl is the start to another promising series. Intricate story line and intriguing characters! Her writing style puts a genius twist on fairy tale retellings. Absolutely recommend this author and ALL of her series!
I love how Chanda Hahn takes already known stories and gives them such a different twist! It definitely keeps me coming back. Her imagination astounds me! I love the Peter Pan story… but I love this take on it so much more!
Chanda Hahn is an absolute Queen at retelling classic fairy tales! This version of Peter Pan is amazing. It’s a modern take with a twist. It sucked me in from the very first page as I held on tight and flew through it. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!
of course, it is an updated Peter Pan. Most teens probably never read the real one. I think the idea will escape them. They should enjoy the book as a new idea. I enjoyed this book.
This was my second book by Chanda Hahn and I have to admit that I am captivated by the way she is able to take a childhood fairytale and give it new life. She does an amazing job setting the story and creating characters that you cling to from the beginning. Halfway through reading this book, I turned to my husband and had to do my best in explaining why this book is so amazing. I wish I could explain better how incredible this book is, but I feel like I won’t do it justice. You have to find out for yourself how truly amazing and well developed it is. I promise you won’t be disappointed. The ending has me blown away and already itching to start the next book, Lost Boy.
Chanda has such a wonderful spin on some classic stories. This is the first thing I’ve read from her in years after having read the Unfortunate Fairytale series some years ago. I love it and will be continuing the story immediately.
