Robinson comes this standalone contemporary romance full of feels and angst…In a world where I had no say, violence became my refuge, and nothing else mattered. Not even my own life.Until her.Skyler Bell.It all started … and nothing else mattered.
Not even my own life.
Until her.
Skyler Bell.
It all started the first time I heard that voice. Giving me hope for tomorrow. My first love was everything all at once.
Consuming.
Maddening.
Forever.
Mine.
Except, I never imagined there were secrets that needed to be shared. Lies that needed to be confessed.
Truths that needed to be told.
Demons that needed to be buried.
Once I realized the depth, the longing, the sadness and sorrow in her eyes mirrored mine, it was too late. Love didn’t come to me as heartbreak, it came as everything I’ve ever wanted. Walking away wasn’t an option, but it was the only choice I had.
I finally found the price of love and it cost me…
My soul.

This is my first read by the author and my mind is blown. The depth of the story will give you all the feels that you may not like but will appreciate at the end. The characters are so developed and their journey was never easy but you will see that they truly belong together. This is a story like no other and I am so glad I was able to read it. A definite must read for 2018 that you need to one click today. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Readers Copy of this book
WOW, Noah…So much feels in this book. I couldn’t keep myself to one emotion. Monica created Noah perfectly. In the storyline she explained why Noah becomes who he is. All of his struggles and life changing events. Well done Monica.
*4,5-5 stars*
Just when you think you’ve read it all by this author, she comes out with another book that will leave your mouth open stare at the words you’ve just read! That’s how I felt when I finished reading this story. For reasons I could never explain, that last chapter really did me in and it nearly broke me as my heart was breaking even more. You definitely won’t be disappointed with this book and after you’ve finally read the whole story of Noah, you’ll fall in love with him even more. Damn Mrs. Robinson, you did good.
Noah has always been in the MC life from a young age and after his family gets torn apart, he doesn’t know what to do with himself or where to go. When he meets Skyler, she’s a breath of fresh air and she becomes his light in the darkness. But Skyler was always meant to be a star outside the town of North Carolina so when the time finally comes for that light to shine even brighter, she’ll take a chance. But the limelight isn’t at all what it seems to be and both her and Noah have broken pasts that haunt them every day. When their truths are finally revealed, will they finally break away…?
Monica has once again dazzled me with her beautiful, raw story telling. Noah & Skyler such an amazing ride. Each turn In this book is a new glimpse into these two lost souls. They are both a product of their environments and are struggling to survive. I truly fell in love with them you could feel their hurt, anger, heartbreak and love radiating from the pages.
They meet as teenagers and their bond is formed. They are from two different worlds and their lives take them away from one another but the love is deep rooted and runs within them.
When they are apart they each are just existing and coping any way they know how too. It may result in illegal fighting, drugs, alcohol or mindless sex but take whatever life throws at them and roll with the punches. When they are together they do everything in their power to shut the world out. Unfortunately the demons always find them. It soon becomes apparent that they will need to not only fight for their love but their existence. This world surrounding them is toxic. They must regroup and decide what is best for them and shut the rest of the world out!
M. Robinson has once again delivered a angst filled love story that has amplified the Angst !

The Queen of angst has done it again. Lost boy will not disappoint. I have been waiting for Noah’s story since I first met him in Road to Nowhere. Noah and Skylar story will take you on an emotional roller-coaster. You will feel every feeling possible. I couldn’t put this book down. M.Robinson has a way to pull you in from the 1st page to the last. Noah and Skylar’s story will break your heart only to put it back together. I think this may be her best book to say and that it saying a lot because I say it every time I read one of her books! This story is everything! Go get it Now!
Once again this exceedingly talented author has dragged me through the wringer, with this emotional rollercoaster journey which is Noah and Skyler’s story. When Noah was introduced previously, I must admit that I was not too keen on him due to the part he was portraying at that time, but my word, I love him now! It was heartbreaking to read his POV of his heartbreaking childhood, which has turned him into the man he is today. Noah and Skyler are both broken souls, who are fighting demons, and hiding the truth from each other despite needing each other to be complete. This is a beautifully written flawless story, which is filled with angst, secrets, emotion, heartbreak, and is an intense, raw, gritty, and a powerful story which had me totally captivated throughout this brilliant page turner. This author always gives her heart and soul into each and every one of her character, and this in itself is a unique, brilliant and refreshing talent.
Hot Damn!!! M has done it again! She delivered another book full of angst.
Be prepared you will have those moments where you want to kill someone or throw something, then you will be crying. This book will take you on one hell of rollercoaster ride
Did I mention how HOT the cover with Stephen James is???
I loved Noah and Sklyer’s story. I really truly did.
I found a Lost Boy in these pages. He is tough and sensitive. He hides his feelings after years of having them beat out of him. He longs for love and is starved for affection- true affection. He lives in the shadows of his father and the memories that bring him the most pain. He’s lost and broken but he’s a survivor.
Noah is everything you pray your children won’t ever become while you pray they have the strength he does to persevere. It’s brutal. It’s depressing. It’s raw. Everything this poor boy has gone through…it’s just raw.
Lost Boy may not be my favorite M. Robinson character but his is a special story.

Hands down, the best book of the year!
First off all, can we talk about one of the hottest book covers ever? Freakin’ Stephen James is gorgeous and perfect as Noah Jameson! I know I sound like a broken record when I keep saying this, but the Queen of Angst has written her best book yet! I FLOVED it so much! I was only a few chapters in when I knew that Lost Boy would be my favorite. This story hits you with all the feels at once! Like any other M Robinson book, you’ll want to throw you kindle and knock some sense into the characters, but you’ll also love, cry, swoon and break your heart in the process of reading Noah and Skyler’s love story. The epilogue was EVERYTHING! I can’t wait until Aiden’s book is out next year!
Love conquers all. From beginning to end, this story tugs at your heart strings. Beautiful story and if you don’t have a heart let me tell you, you will find yours with this story. There are no spoilers in my review. If I could read this story again from beginning to end for the first time I would do it over and over. Absolutely love it.
Lost Boy was an angsty and emotional rollercoaster of a read that I quite enjoyed. It chronicled the saga of Noah and Skyler from adolescence to adulthood. There were many ups and downs in their relationship but one constant that always remained the same was their love for each other. I will readily admit that at times I wanted to smack Noah and shake both him and Skyler and tell them get themselves together. Even as annoyed as I was about the decisions they were making I was never bored. Their story kept me entertained and engaged throughout. I definitely recommend it to those who love angsty stories about broken characters.

5+ STAR Review by Jodi for Ruby Red Romance Review
M. Robinson really is an evil genius when it comes to telling stories. She has the power to take something and make it huge. Lost Boy is no exception to this. I know why they call her the Queen of Angst and she killed it with Noah and Skyler.
Noah is everything I wanted him to be and more. He’s sweet, kind, not afraid to stand up for what he believes in and most importantly he just looking for love. When your entire world appears to crumble around you, hope and love are what hold you together. I’m going to admit, that I was always #TeamCreed, but after finishing Lost Boy, I’m #TeamNoah all the way. The truth is I’ll be #TeamWhoever as long as M. is writing the story.
I loved Skyler. Even when I wanted to throat punch her. She’s a heartbreakingly beautiful character. She’s strong, fierce, and relatable. The truth behind Skyler’s character is that even as an adult she was a girl. She didn’t have the normal upbringing, so it caused her to miss out on things. But it also caused her to grow up way before her time. Skyler was the perfect heroine.
These two together were the perfect combination of heartbreakingly beautiful, the perfect storm, and soulmates. I feel head over heels in love with this story from the first words and that didn’t stop with the end. This story left me thinking about so many things. I love that we get to see our old friends as well. I love getting to check in with them from time to time. Lost Boy is the perfect book and I can’t wait to see what M. Robinson has in store for us next. I’m sure its going to knock our socks off.
I absolutely loved Lost Boy and the journey of Noah Jameson! You thought you knew all about him and his life from Road to Nowhere and Ends Here. But that was just the beginning. From the first page Noah drew me in and didn’t disappoint. I laughed. I cried. My heart broke. And then Monica with her amazing words put it back together again. Another amazing book by our queen of angst! #TeamNoah
I am always in awe of the genius that just pours from Ms. Robinson’s mind. Lost Boy was one of my most anticipated reads of this year and I have to say I was not disappointed.
When I met Noah in Road to Nowhere, I wasn’t a big fan because of the role he played in the story. But in Robinson style, M grabbed a hold of me from page one of Lost Boy and haven’t let go even after I am done reading. I felt the pain Noah felt as a child and my heart broke anticipating what might happen to him as the story progressed. This story is raw, gritty and real! Skylar was Noah’s perfect found girl. Both went through hardships, heartbreaks to make them into two individuals who were perfect for eachother.
I applaud Ms. Robinson for giving us another mindblowing read, and I await with eager anticipation to again get my heart broken and mended into a completely different happy one.
Noah has lost everything and is looking for peace. He meets Skylar while out on a bike ride and boom instant chemistry. Skylar has her own secrets and heartaches. Will the couple be able to survive and overcome their demons? This book will put you through all the emotions of heartbreak, tears and hope for a new day. A truly lovely wonderful read.
Really this is 5+ stars book.
This book gutted me! I was an emotional wreck from this rollercoaster ride of a story! Monica did not disappoint! The story is so well crafted. It flows from scene to scene so easily that you feel you are right with the characters in the story. I really couldn’t put the book down. Monica developed Noah’s character with such dimension from when we first met him in Road to Nowhere and Ends Here. Reliving the story from Noah’s point of view was so different from what I felt about him when I read Road to Nowhere and Ends Here. That’s another amazing thing about Monica’s writing, her stories are all seamlessly put together so that if something is referenced from an earlier book it all makes sense in the current book. Skyler is such a complex character. You absolutely know that there is a lot in her past but her character unfolds it slowly. She made me scream sometimes because she wasn’t telling all her truths to Noah. She is sassy, strong, and complex. Both Noah and Skyler are very complex hero and heroine characters. I know I have said this before, I love how Monica writes! You think you know where she’s going with the storyline but suddenly the ground opens and you are falling into some kind of rabbit hole. Next you are lured into believing everything is working out and then she guts you! Rips your heart right out, so you are screaming and crying for these characters! It’s like these are your best friends and you are crying because of what they are going through. You want them to have a happy ending just so you can finally stop crying for them! This is not a flowers and sunshine romance, its dark and its gritty. It will rip you to pieces. You will feel every emotion reading this book! You must read this book!
