Book 2 of this 3 book series. This one is from Peter’s point of view – will he follow his heart or will he do his duty?
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! The classic story mixed with Chanda’s unparalleled creativity is such a pleasure to read!
*I received an Arc for an honest review*
Amaze-balls! This was the perfect sequel to Lost Girl. We continue to follow the Lost Boys, Wendy, and Tink along their fight against Neverland and uncover more dark secrets to Hook’s sinister plot. Once again the interactions between all of the characters and the fact that Wendy is not at all a damsel in distress makes the perfect combo in this story. Still full of adventure, action, thriller, magic and romance! There are so many unexpected surprises and twists that I found myself gasping and giggling at how creative and coy Ms. Hahn was and once the story ended I literally cried at how good it was and at the fact that I’d have to wait for the next one in this series. Chanda Hahn you’ve worked your magic again!
This book had so many twists and turns I couldn’t put it down I finished it in one night. I love Chanda’s book because I never know what is going to happen and this one was no different. The ending had lots of great action and shocking parts I won’t spoil it but I loved this book and had to start the new one right away.
Oh this series! I’ve always loved Peter Pan and Neverland and this series is sooooo good. My daughter and I love Chanda’s writing style and we are so engrossed in these characters and their stories.
Chanda Hahn is quickly coming become of my favorite authors!!! She is captivating and Lost Boy is no exception to that!! HOOKed!! (Pun intended) haha… highly recommend!!!
I can’t get enough of this series!! I’m loving this modern take on the classic Peter Pan. All the key players are there with a clever twist to their roles. Great action as the confrontation builds for the epic battle. You’ll find me, second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning as I grab book 3 and hold on tight!
Incredible! Outstanding! Amazing! There are so many words to describe book 2 of the Neverwood Chronicles. Chanda Hahn has done it again. I feel like I was on rollercoaster with my emotions. Chanda does a great job making you feel like you are in the story, I could picture the scenes as if they were happening right in front of me. We learn so much about Wendy’s past and how her discovering it all pushes her to fight. I also love how Chanda pulls even the smallest details from Peter Pan into her story, making it make sense in every way. The ending had me heart break into a million pieces. I’m not sure how long it will take me to recover from this one.
I couldn’t wait to start book 2, so I did so pretty much immediately and I flew through it! Still really enjoying the story and I cant wait to see how it wraps up!
I was so happy to go see where the story lead and could not tear my eyes away from the pages!!
Just finished reading Lost Boy, and oh my goodness, it is sooo good! Let me start by saying, I highly recommend that you read Lost Girl first. This is the second book in the series. Can you read this book first? Sure, but you would loose so much of the character development and plot, I don’t recommend it. (It would be equivalent to reading Harry Potter for the first time starting with book number 2).
Lost Boy continues the story of Wendy and Peter. This story will keep you on your toes through the whole book. It is suspenseful with a touch of romance. It sucks you into the story right from the start, and you won’t be able to put it down. Clear your schedule, Lost Boy is out!
No spoilers here really, just a fangirl.
Did you love Lost Girl? Well your Definitely going to love Lost Boy!
I fell in love with the Neverwood Chronicls and Chanda’s spin on the ‘Neverland’ tale, already being a huge fan of her other books, she has not disappointed with Neverwood Chronicles.
(Just like I was with Lost Girl) I could not put it down, and even neglected my daily chores to finish this book and when I did I was already dying for the 3rd book, Lost Shadows!
I was on the edge of my seat! I laughed, I teared up, I felt for the characters and what they were going trough and every time Wendy and Peter had moments together I screamed internally because they are one of the cutest, purist, strongest pair I have ever read about. Do I ship them hard? Extremely.
It’s amazing, thrilling, funny, adorable and fun!
The first book left me wanting more and this book didn’t disappoint! This book gave more of an insight into Peter and raised more questions that needed to be figured out. It also left me wanting more. Extremely excited for the third book! Chanda Hahn has a great way of capturing your attention and keeping it!
I liked the second installment in this series and can’t wait to see where it goes next. It certainly went a different direction than I thought it would. Lots of surprises here!
I was hooked from lost girl and this story was even better which is rare in any story. The characters have so much depth and the adventure keeps you begging for the story not to end. I love Chanda Hahn and honestly with every story she writes she makes me forget everything going on and I emerge into these worlds that are so amazing. This is a must read and an ingenious take on this story. I can totally imagine this in today’s world which makes it all the more real.
Hooked!!
You will not be disappointed!! If you are hesitant don’t be!! I absolutely love this series!! I cannot get enough!! I need Lost Shadow (Book 3) now!! This series just keeps getting better and better! It was a rollercoaster of emotions for me. LOVE it!!
A typical Peter Pan clone; a bit more original than most, but mostly meh.
