From New York Times bestselling author Jill Shalvis comes her first women’s fiction novel—an unforgettable story of friendship, love, family, and sisterhood—perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover, Susan Mallery, and Kristan Higgins. They say life can change in an instant… life back on track. She appears to have it all: a loving family, a dream job in one of L.A.’s hottest eateries, and a gorgeous boyfriend dying to slip an engagement ring on her finger. So why does she feel so empty, like she’s looking for a missing piece she can’t find?
The answer comes when a lawyer tracks down Quinn and reveals a bombshell secret and a mysterious inheritance that only she can claim. This shocking revelation washes over Quinn like a tidal wave. Her whole life has been a lie.
On impulse, Quinn gives up her job, home, and boyfriend. She heads up the coast to the small hometown of Wildstone, California, which is just a few hours north, but feels worlds apart from Los Angeles. Though she doesn’t quite fit in right away, she can’t help but be drawn to the town’s simple pleasures…and the handsome, dark-haired stranger who offers friendship with no questions asked.
As Quinn settles into Wildstone, she discovers there’s another surprise in store for her. The inheritance isn’t a house or money, but rather something earthshattering, something that will make her question everything she thought she knew about herself, about her family. Now with a world of possibilities opening up to Quinn, she must decide if this new life is the one she was always meant to have—and the one that could finally give her the fulfillment she’s searched so long for.

A wonderful story…I love happy endings!!
This one was too short. I want to know what happens next.
It kept me interested all the way through!
It’s a sweet, funny, sad tale of figuring out who you are, who you want to be and finding joy, great friends and family when you least expect it.
I listened to this Audiobook (Karen White is fantastic as always!!) and simply fell in love with this town and these off beat characters from the get-go. Quinn is from LA but goes to Wildwood after getting some life changing news. She is definitely quirky but she is so lovable! Mick is just awesome! He is from Wildstone but now lives in San Francisco and has his own successful business there. He is in Wildwood helping his mom out with her house. What a great personality he has and I love Cooper! We see from their very first interaction that something is there between them. It will take a long time for them to learn how to just go with their new found feelings and see just how everything fits in their lives, but it is worth it. They have some fun, sexy and serious times together and I just love their relationship. But the dynamic between Quinn and her 15 yr old sister Tilly is the highpoint of this story for sure. And Tilly’s relationship with her friend Dylan is another. Real, raw and emotional they all sure come a long way by the end of this wonderful book. This story will certainly exercise your emotions, from laughter to tears and everything in between. I absolutely loved it and know I am going to love this series!
Another great book by Jill Shalvis. Quinn seems to have it all, loving parents, a great job as a Sous-chef in a top LA restaurant, and a gorgeous boyfriend. However, she is still reeling from her sister’s death in a car accident two years ago. She is just going through the motions. She is miserable in her job, she and her boyfriend are on a two year break (no sex, at least on her part), and her parents are constantly hovering over their remaining child. Her world is upended when she finds out that she was adopted, her birth mother has died, and that she has a fifteen year old sister. Quinn goes to Wildstone CA where she meets Tilly, the sullen sister, Mick, the hunky engineer, and a whole cast of characters from the town. Loved the story and all of the characters. Definitely worth the read.
Lost and Found Sisters was a most enjoyable page-turner with one exception: unnecessary explicit sex scenes. Characterization is excellent! The story moves so quickly, I didn’t want to miss a word (except for the unnecessary sex scenes). And the ending? A happily ever after.
Jill Shalvis is one of my auto buy authors. Her books never disappoint and always make me feel good. She has a true gift for storytelling.
A very good story that showed character growth. I really enjoy most al of Jill Shalvis’ books!
I love Shalvis but I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this book but it was such a good read. Great characters, interesting twist to the story line. I didn’t want to put it down.
Loved it. Read it twice
Great beach read. Characters are fun to follow. Light and entertaining.
Really good story. I had some small issues but would still recommend as a good read.
I really enjoyed this book. It was a sweet story that made me tear up a time or two.
enjoyed the twists and turns
Excellent
Sometimes I need a break from suspense and thrillers! Even though this story was fairly predictable, I still enjoyed the characters. The ending was rather abrupt and seemed like the author had other fish to fry.
I loved this book and didn’t want it to end! Wonderful, believable characters and a fascinating story.
Loved this book! Great read.
New author. Looking forward to her next book coming out 6/18
