Craving her was wrong… losing her was a necessity. What we had was real, but it’s over. Ancient history. She was under my skin, but I was under her dad’s roof.He warned me to stay away, but I couldn’t. We risked everything and I lost it all, to protect us both. Now I’m empty, and it’s all too clear what’s missing. Or, rather, who. None of the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside … the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside my shattered heart.
That belongs to one person alone. My “step-sister.”
I never gave up hope that we’d get our second chance.
One phone call changes everything, and I’m about to claim what’s rightfully mine.
Losing the Forbidden is the emotional second installment of Tracy Lorraine’s new spinoff trilogy of her Falling series.

Ben and Lauren’s story continues with powerful emotions and deep seated betrayal. Can Lauren forgive Ben for leaving the way he did? Can Ben figure out what her Dad did to his Legacy?
Don’t miss their struggle to survive and move forward together or done for good.

This was an amazing story. Ben & Lauren have so much history together as step-siblings. Add in the fact that they have this undeniable attraction between one another and they are so afraid to cross that line. When Ben comes back he discovers that Lauren has someone in her life, will he be able to handle it?
This was a hot for me. Well written great fun characters that only left me wanting more. Perfection!
Losing the Forbidden by Tracy Lorraine is book Two in the A Stepbrother Romance which continues the story of Lauren and Ben. So you should really read the first book ‘Falling for the Forbidden’ to full enjoy this one.
Ben’s story is the focal in this book where we go further into the past to learn some of what happened to him. Ben and Lauren are still working toward moving forward with their situation and feelings. Nothing is simple and there is a lot that is keeping them apart. So much so that this book doesn’t end their story and we are left waiting for the next installment. I have been enjoying this journey so I am excited to get the next part/book.
I loved this story. Ben ‘Bj’, the main protagonist is such an amazing character. Don’t let the first couple of chapters fool you, he’s perfect. And the antagonist…the antagonist is haunting in the destruction caused.

Losing The Forbidden is book two of the Forbidden Series and Ben and Lauren’s story just gets better and better. If you’ve read the first book then you know that Ben and Lauren are step siblings who fell in love. Lauren’s father separated the young lovers and now that her father has passed away Ben returns home. Just like book one this one ends in a cliffhanger leaving me anxiously waiting for the final book and wanting to find out how this series ends.
Book number 2 in this series. Read the first book before reading this. A continuation in Lauren and Bens story. Plenty of drama and suspense. Such a hot steamy story. Action packed crazy roller coaster ride story. Cant wait to read the next book.

Nothing stays the same, and after 6 years and no explanation for why Ben left, he’s going to have a difficult time trying to re-establish a relationship with Lauren who has moved on with her life.
Book two begins 6 years after book one where the reader can see where Ben and Lauren have ended up and how they have changed, despite the fact that your past stays with you regardless of where you end up.
When Ben left and disappeared without a word because his stepfather threatened his mother and Lauren, he had no idea what he would be coming back to, even though he hoped there would one day be a second chance for them. He still wants a life with Lauren. But Lauren, whose world is thoroughly shaken by his sudden reappearance, doesn’t know how act or what to think. Her confusion is easily seen as she tries to realize what this means for her and whether she is willing to make changes in her current life to explore what they lost. Can she forgive him, even though he had no real choice back then? How will Ben convince her that she has always been the one and they are meant to be together?
This is a powerful, emotional story that will tie the reader up in knots, knowing what they are going through and hoping they can find a way to fix all that pain. But as humans, we need to feel because that brings us closer to the ones we love – even if it’s just a character in the book that just touched our hearts. Grab your copy and move a little closer to see if there is a HEA still available for them. Or will someone walk away with a broken heart?
This is the second part of the series and is just as intense a forbidden romance. I love that this strong continues six years after the first party but it fills in a load of missing info, unanswered questions and so much emotions. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

I really like this author’s writing style and the tension, passion and drama that she creates. I just couldn’t like the Hero, Ben.
As much as I want an HEA for this couple, the frustration of their relationship and how Ben’s decisions affected so many people in a negative way bothered me to no end. His actions were cowardly and hidden behind flimsy rationale that “he couldn’t do anything else”.
Leaving the two most important women in his life with a man like Nick and ghosting both of them for six years?
The frustration also continued with Lauren as she still loved Ben, but really didn’t want the closure she needed to move on. By refusing to find out what happened all those years ago and allowing herself to be with him again while still with Joe, wasn’t endearing at all. It seemed like she was a bit of a coward too as she hid behind her anger and was afraid of her own feelings.
As much as I like this author, this storyline was too drawn out and painful for me to read and enjoy.

OMG…Ben and Lauren’s story has got me so wrapped up in their story and begging that these two get a HEA. I was thinking that this book was the ending of their forbidden love story only to get to the end to find another cliffhanger. I am not complaining at all because this just makes me want to get my hands on the next book even more. I have falling so hard in love with their story. This book answers so many of my unanswered questions from book 1, but has left me wondering if they will have the HEA that I am hoping for. Gosh…this new to me author has made me fall in love with her writing and I really can’t wait to read more of her books. I highly recommend you check out her work.
Happy Reading Everyone!!!
Review by Jeanette Oglesby
This is the second book in the trilogy for Ben and Lauren. With Lauren’s Dad wanting an end to their relationship, he kicks Ben out of the house. Ben leaves but Lauren is never far from his thoughts. Ben and Lauren are so much more than just lust but they are going to have to fight in order to be together. Obviously, with this being book two, we do not get a HEA ending but I am not 100% certain that these two will see one, at least at this point. The author of course, has many more twists and turns for us readers to enjoy as she continues to evolve both Ben and Lauren individually as well as, fingers crossed, for when they get back together as a couple. Impatiently waiting for book three.

I hardly had words to describe this. I had to take some time after I finished reading it to actually write the review. It left me…broken. Poor Ben and Lauren. I feel their pain and their heartbreak and their guilt and everything. The way Tracy is telling their story is so emotional and you won’t be able to help but to feel all their emotions. I feel their love, their betrayal, their pain, their mistrust, but I also felt their hope. The way this part ends, left me heartbroken and I can’t wait for the final book to see how Ben and Lauren go through this.

The second of the three books of Bens story and it Ben and Laurens story is just so so complicated. My heart was breaking for Ben in the first book and it continues with his turmoil in the secobd book after Nick has made things so difficult over the years. I love Ben. He is such a loving petsin with a big heart who just wants to look after his mum & Lauren.
In this book we see Dec, Nicole, Liam & Liv help Ben and be his support. But we see other forces and revelations come to light. I can’t wait for Ben and Laurens story to conclude after the cliffhanger that just happened. I can’t wait for Fighting for the Forbidden xx

Part two in the series once again brings an intense forbidden romance between Ben and Lauren. The author continues their story six years later filling it with tons of emotions and unanswered questions. She does a great job pulling you in and left me wanting more in the end. I’m looking forward to the next book.

This is the second book in Ben and Lauren’s continuing story. There is plenty of tension, drama and emotional turmoil as this “forbidden” romance resumes. I’m liking Ben a lot but Lauren has me on the fence with her indecisive, wishy-washy attitude. The twist and surpprises keep coming until you are left waiting to see how it all ends in the last book.
Lauren and Ben together are so intense. Lauren’s father Nick dies and Ben is notified to come home. Nick was a controlling step-father and husband to Ben’s mother. The twists are so good I had to read this straight through. Now, I can barely wait for the next story.

Having read ‘Falling For The Forbidden ‘ I could not wait for Part 2 in the series. This book takes place 6 years after the end of the first book when Ben is forced to leave his mother and the love of his life and stepsister Lauren behind. As I hoped and expected, this book did not disappoint . Once again I found myself reeled into Ben and Lauren’s forbidden love story and the tangled mess their emotions had them in. Ben still madly in love with Lauren and Lauren still hurt and angry lashing out at him. Unable to fight her attraction and feelings for him even though she is living with another man. I found myself once again invested in this story and once again left with unanswered questions that will be answered in the third and final installment of the series. Hats off to Tracy Lorraine for taking me out of my HEA comfort zone and keeping me on edge and wanting more.
