Craving her was wrong… losing her was a necessity. What we had was real, but it’s over. Ancient history. She was under my skin, but I was under her dad’s roof.He warned me to stay away, but I couldn’t. We risked everything and I lost it all, to protect us both. Now I’m empty, and it’s all too clear what’s missing. Or, rather, who. None of the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside … the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside my shattered heart.
That belongs to one person alone. My “step-sister.”
I never gave up hope that we’d get our second chance.
One phone call changes everything, and I’m about to claim what’s rightfully mine.
Losing the Forbidden is the emotional second installment of Tracy Lorraine’s new spinoff trilogy of her Falling series.

I enjoyed this second installment to the “Forbidden” series. It continues Ben and Lauren’s story and starts about six years after the “Falling for the Forbidden”. He has his work cut out for him. He disappears without a word after his father threats. Then makes a stunning reappearance. Will they get a second chance? This is an interesting continuation in the story however, it does end without these two getting their happiness. I guess we will all need to read “Fighting for the Forbidden” to see if these two can find happiness together.
This is the second part in the Stepbrother Romance series. It is recommended you read Fallen for the Forbidden before this book. Ben was threatened by Lauren’s father so he left and was gone for six years. But upon his stepfather’s death, he has returned home, hoping to get a second chance with Lauren. But Lauren is quite upset that Ben is back. Lauren isn’t even sure she can forgive Ben for leaving. But Ben knows that Lauren is the one for him so he has his work cut out for him. But this story definitely does not end here so you will need to read Fighting for the Forbidden to see if they get their HEA.

He is back for her………..but will she forgive him?
Losing the Forbidden is an engaging and really enjoyable continuation of the Ben and Lauren story (stepbrother romance)
This book picks up 6 years after Ben and Lauren were separated. After being shattered she she has now moved on with her life believing that he left willing. However, what happened that day 6 years ago when Ben left is not what Lauren believes. In reality her father forced Ben to leave home and at the same time leave Lauren behind. Now her father has died and Ben is coming back to town and to Lauren. What was his once is still his and he is about to claim her again. Only this time he will not let her go. But will he be able to actually win her love and trust again, after so much time and hurt?
Losing the Forbidden will take you on an emotional journey with two people who were both hurt to their soul 6 years ago and the aftermath that is still happening now. Can Lauren ever forgive Ben and give him the second chance he wants?
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
I normally hate duets, trilogies, or cliff-hanger type books but I felt invested in the outcome from the very first page!
It was like these were real people and this situation could be real. I really thought this book was an awesome addition to the genre.
Great character development, steamy sex scenes and twists and turns to be able to sink into the book.
This book is Amazing so get to it! Not for the faint of heart or the impatient!

There’s plenty of action drama and steam in this read
that I found it was impossible to put down.
Definitely chemistry between the characters.

This just keeps getting better and better. I just can’t put these books down. I am a huge fan of forbidden romances and this one is amazing and Tracy knocked it out of the park. I can’t wait for more.

Tracy Lorraine never disappoints and she delivers a story that continues the angst, lack of communication and betrayal of Falling for the Forbidden. Ben and Lauren are step-siblings who fall for one another, but Ben leaves her behind when Lauren’s father threatens Lauren and his mum. Lauren is devastated because he left without saying a word. Now, 6 years later, Ben gets a phone call from his uncle telling him that his step-father, Nick, has died and his first thought is to come back and claim all that is rightfully his. It won’t be that easy since Lauren moved on with her life after Ben shattered her heart and she’s so angry with him.
She’s unsettled by his return and has more questions than answers as to why he left. Ben is intent on winning her back and showing her that they haven’t stopped loving each other. She’s terribly indecisive and the angst continues into the next book. Seeing the story through Ben’s eyes gives this story a much-appreciated depth of feeling. Part III can’t come soon enough!
Oh my!! This continuation of the series is amazing! Ends on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for more!!!

This is the second book in the trilogy Forbidden.
Lauren’s Dad wants an end to their relationship so he kicks Ben out of the house.
Ben leaves but that doesn’t mean than out of the side out of the heart. Lauren is never far from his thoughts.
Ben and Lauren feelings are so much more than just lust . If they want to be together they have to fight to overcome all obstacles, fingers crossed they get back together as a couple.
Impatiently waiting for book three.

Ben is back to get Lauren and he’s not letting anyone or anything stop him. He finally starts to tell others his secrets and learn some of others’ secrets as well. Lauren annoyed me in this one. She was hot or frigid. I get why she’d be cautious, but wouldn’t hear anything people were telling her. I think she was grieving and totally in denial. Ben has his work cut out for him in the third book.
The saga of Ben and Lauren continues 6 years later told from the POV of Ben and it will take you on a roller coaster of heart wrenching emotions. Many questions from part one are answered in this book and it will leave you longing for part three. This is a definite MUST READ!

Lots of things change in six years, and Ms. Lorraine is taking her readers, or at least this reader, on an extremely emotional ride with Ben and Lauren. How this resolves, well, this book left us, once again, with another cliff-hanger! Gotta love to hate cliff-hangers. Man oh man, not sure how long I’ll be able to wait…. HURRY!!!!! Ms. Lorraine!
When a phone call changes the trajectory of his life, Ben needs to reconsider and come back home. All is different and so is the girl who holds his heart. This was a much better read after book one, but this couple still have a long way to go to get their HEA. The cliffhanger ending set up well for the next book.
Book 2 in the Forbidden series is as powerful as the 1st book. It’s been 6 years since Ben left In the middle of the night because of his step dads threats.. Now, his step-dad, Nick has died and Ben has to decide between going back or staying away. When he goes back to London, nothing is really the same, except his strong passion and love for Lauren, but she hates him, although the chemistry is still as hot and passionate as it was 6 years ago. But now Lauren is with someone else and tells Ben, it’s over and done. Well written storyline and so much emotion in this installment. Broke my heart. Looking forward to the 3rd book in this trilogy.

This newest addition to the series doesn’t disappoint to break its readers heart. Ben and Lauren’s story continues with heartache and heat that will have you invested in their journey that doesn’t end with rainbows, instead feelings of heartbreak and unanswered questions. I need the next book of this series that hopefully will have a HEA.

I must say I was pretty harsh about the first book in this series but this one was a huge improvement and after reading it book 1 isn’t so bad anymore Maybe they need to read one after the other without a gap in between.
IN this book Ben has returned after 6 years and he tells the story from his perspective and yes this gave me a lot more insight and made book 1 Falling for the forbidden more understandable After this book I have more of an understanding of the say that Ben thinks Yes he still needs his head banging to make him wise up to himself but he is redeemed a little Now waiting for the third book in this series
What are you trying to do to me woman!!! Lol. I did not know that Ben and Lauren’s story was in 3 parts, so I was kinda sucker punched at this ending. This part of their story broke my heart in pieces. I love their history and chemistry but the emotional trauma they are going through now is agonizing. I can’t wait for their ending.
