Craving her was wrong… losing her was a necessity. What we had was real, but it’s over. Ancient history. She was under my skin, but I was under her dad’s roof.He warned me to stay away, but I couldn’t. We risked everything and I lost it all, to protect us both. Now I’m empty, and it’s all too clear what’s missing. Or, rather, who. None of the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside … the women who warm my bed can ever fill the void inside my shattered heart.
That belongs to one person alone. My “step-sister.”
I never gave up hope that we’d get our second chance.
One phone call changes everything, and I’m about to claim what’s rightfully mine.
Losing the Forbidden is the emotional second installment of Tracy Lorraine’s new spinoff trilogy of her Falling series.

I loved reading, “Losing the Forbidden” by Tracy Lorraine. I have to let you know that this is Part 2 of what appears to be a trilogy.
It is a second chance romance with well drawn and likeable characters. I don’t want to reveal any spoilers. But this is really a well written story about what happens when you try to do the right thing, but the people you love get hurt anyway.
Can you make it right or do just move on?
Ben keeps messing up.
He left his mother and Lauren six years ago. Since then, it’s been one big party and endless hookups.
When he finally goes back for the funeral, he causes trouble for Lauren.
I honestly think she was better off with Joe.
Ends in a cliffhanger.

Losing the Forbidden (Forbidden #2) by Tracy Lorraine
5 STARS
Losing the Forbidden is the second book in the Forbidden series by author Tracy Lorraine, so you must read book 1 first, Falling for the Forbidden. It is written in dual POV.
Obviously I made my plans, theories, I had my expectations, but Tracy blew them away. This book action went wilde.
Lauren is not ready to forgive Ben. She was completely devastated and destroyed after Ben left. She isn’t just ready for him to come back. She learned to live without him and she thinks she is happy without him.
Ben isn’t ready to give up on her.
I honestly have to say that in this book I hated Lauren for some reasons, which I am not going to say and explain, because…. spoliers…
So on to the book 3
I highly recommend this book
Losing the Forbidden is the second book in Lauren and Ben’s story. This book takes place six years after the first part. Ben is back and he wants Lauren. But is she able to forgive him for suddenly disappearing years ago? This book is an emotional rollercoaster and I love it! Tracy did a really great job with this story. It’s well written and captivating.
This is the continuation of Lauren and Bens story and it is a Rollercoaster of emotions! Losing the Forbidden ties up alot of loose ends we were wondering about in book 1! This book is gut wrenching and alot of things in Lauren and Ben’s lives have to fall apart in order to be put back together again. This book leaves you wanting more and i can’t wait to get my hands on the final installment in their love story
A filler
What really frustrates me is when a book is broken into several books and really it just doesn’t make sense . I’m loving Ben and Lauren’s story , don’t get me wrong , but this ‘book’ doesn’t feel like a book in itself .
It’s relatively short , and although there’s some angst and movement in their story it doesn’t feel like enough to warrant a book of its own .
Anyway , LUKILY the third book is already available so I can move right on to the next one which I will because I want to see how they get to their HEA ….
This book is about Ben coming to realize he wants to fight for his relationship with Lauren . It’s book 2 in this series and you definitely have to have read book 1 and will want to be prepared to read book 3 too before you start this one !
A great well written story. The chemistry between these two in intense. A great step brother romance. Can’t wait for part 3!!
An amazing powerful and emotional story taken place 6 years later after Lauren’s dad’s passing. An amazing journey ending on a edge of my seat cliffhanger as I still don’t know if they will have a HEA. An fantastic addicting storyline with interesting, well developed characters with still undeniable attraction and sizzling hot chemistry. I voluntarily read and reviewed this incredible ARC can’t wait for the next one.
Losing the Forbidden by Tracy Lorraine is an awesome read! This is the 2nd book in the Stepbrother Romance series. This is also the 2nd book that I have read by this author. I couldn’t put my kindle down until I finished reading this book. A warning in advance, you have to read the 1st book of this series before reading this one.
Losing the Forbidden picks up where Falling for the Forbidden left off. Lauren has just discovered that Ben left her after spending one last night with her. Ben felt that he had to leave to protect Lauren and his mother from Lauren’s father. Lauren’s father had just discovered that Ben and Lauren are dating each other. Fast forward, Ben has just gotten the call that Lauren’s father has passed away and that he is needed back home. Ben is undecided if he should go, but ends up going home. When Ben and Lauren see each other again, they both find out that they still have feelings for each other but Lauren has moved on with her life.
Will Ben and Lauren rekindle their love? Will Ben and Lauren get their happy ever after? You will have to read Losing the Forbidden by Tracy Lorraine to find out! This book has plenty of romance and some suspense. This book also ends with a cliffhanger so you will have to read the next book in the series,

This is the 2nd book in this exciting trilogy, and this story begins 6 years later when Ben returns home after leaving Lauren heartbroken. The feeling between them is still as intense, but will they get a 2nd chance? This is a well written tale which is filled with angst, heartbreak, emotion, and is a raw, gritty and powerful story. Looking forward to reading the 3rd and final book in this addictive series.
Six years ago Ben walked away from his home in order to protect his mom, Jenny, and step-sister, Lauren, from Lauren’s dad, Nick. Now Nick has died and Ben needs to return to make sure that they are both ok and see the state that Nick has left everything in, including the business that his family started.
Lauren was devastated when Ben left her without a word and now she is not ready to take him back or forgive him for deserting her. She has moved on and wants Ben to stay as far away from her as possible as she finally has her life moving in the direction that she wants.
Ben isn’t ready to give up on Lauren but can he convince her to give him a second chance when all he wanted to do was protect her?
This is such a great second book and although it really didn’t go the way I wanted it to I know there is another book coming so I am just holding my breath.
I understood why Ben left so I was so frustrated that Lauren couldn’t understand the actions that he had to take in order to protect her. Nick was willing to do whatever he could to hurt Ben and it was clear in this book how much damage he really did do.
I got why Lauren was so mad as Ben never said a word but I was also shocked by her loyalty to her dad, even after everything that had happened at the restaurant. Lauren hated Ben so much and never really gave him a chance to explain anything. With the reading of the will Lauren was so mad yet again never knew why her dad did what he did.
I was happy when Lauren and Ben got together the few times but then I did realize that nothing was changing in Lauren’s mind and she hated Ben even more after that. I am still wondering how and why Lauren believes that Ben ruined her life so much and am wondering if something is going to come out in the next book that makes me understand more of the hatred.
The end of the book had me crossing my fingers until Lauren lays into Ben and gives him certain news that left me broken for Ben!

This is not one of Tracys best works. But that is only my opinion. I liked it but it is very difficult to get into the story and relate to the characters. This is because a lot is not explained to the reader.
A lot of drama and some steam.
Outstanding and emotional
Losing The Forbidden is a stepbrother romance. Definitely on the taboo side for some people, but that’s part of what I love about this genre.
This was my first book by this author, and I was pleasantly surprised. This book definitely is a page-turner, and you can’t help but root for the characters. i’ll definitely be reading more by this author!

The great character and storyline development kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book! I was so engrossed in this story that I read this book in one sitting!
Losing the Forbidden by Tracey Lorraine is the second book in the Forbidden trilogy. In this book, Ben returns home when he finds out his stepfather has died. He plans to reclaim his families business and his lost love Lauren. This book is an interesting contemporary romance that has very compelling characters and an intriguing plot that kept me reading until the last page. I really enjoyed this second book in the Forbidden series and look forward to reading the third book to find out what happens next. Losing the Forbidden is a spicy lost love story.
I love a good stepbrother romance but it was faster paced that I would have liked. That being said the connection between Lauren and Ben is undeniable and I cant wait for the 2nd book.

Alot of whining on Ben’s part given he really chose to leave in the end. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out in the final part.
