Dear Wes, let’s skip pleasantries.I’m not going to med school a v*rgin.I want to learn everything, and I want you to teach me.I’ve looked at all the men in my life, made a list of pros and cons, found you the most suitable. Sure, a lot of that was your gorgeous blue eyes and your charming smile. The strong arms and the tattooed torso don’t hurt either.I swear, I don’t have a thing for bad boys. … don’t have a thing for bad boys. Just you.
There’s no way I’m ever sending this. I can’t believe I’m even writing it.
But, god, I really, really do want to study under you.
Is that too formal?
How am I supposed to phrase this?
Wes, please, teach me how to love.
I promise I’ll study hard.
I’m an excellent student.
And, well, I’m pretty sure I don’t need to spell out why this is win/win.
– Quinn

Let the fireworks begin! Crystal Kaswell rocks that special place in romance where funny, emotional, and hella hot meet. Losing It is no exception. The games begin when Quinn decides she’s not going off to med school a virgin. She has the perfect teacher in mind with all the right credentials: big, tattooed, alpha. If you think you know what’s coming next you’re wrong. This book is a heartfelt surprise that will leave you smiling long after the swoon hits in force. Five yummy stars!
This is my first book by the author and I really enjoyed how she developed her characters. The male protagonist is an artist with his armor up, but it slowly cracks when he realizes how much he cares for a bright young woman who comes to him with a problem. That problem is the seed that begins to bring these two unlikely lovers together. It’s part coming of age, part personal journey, with a sweet HEA.
She is writing a letter to him as she did not want to go to med school a virgin and she wants him to be that one. She explains what she wants. How she must wait to see if he will.do it for her. See if he will

Wes and Quinn are sweet and adorable as can be, but I really enjoyed the underlying theme that appearances are always what you seem and wishing for easy can be a whole lot complicated than you can ever imagine! Crystal Kaswell once again weaves her magic between her two most unlikely soulmates. Quinn is innocence and light yet her desires for intimacy and closeness run deep. Wes comes off as a serious Playa, but you can clearly see the insecurities and vulnerability that lies beneath the tough guy exterior. I love having the opportunity to leave honest reviews whenever I get the chance to read an advanced copy!

Until next time… Happy Reading!
I absolutely love Wes & Quinn’s story – it has everything!! The slow build up of “taking action” on the heat that was immediate at the beginning of the book was a lovely change from many books that start hot & heavy – although I love those too. The way Wes & Quinn help each other come to important realizations in their own private lives was incredibly touching. I love everything about both of them and this entire book! As usual, Crystal keeps me invested and not wanting to put it down!! There’s not a single book of Crystal’s that I don’t love!!
Badly edited and bad written. A lot went wrong for me in this story. Lacking depth and chemistry.
Could have been much more and have the potential for it.
Once again I have fallen in love with another member of the Inked Hearts gang, this series is sooooo freaking awesome!!! I loved Wes and Quinn story they were so good together…. it was a perfect balance of sweet, innocent, naughty, sexy hot, and with a good dose of serious emotional matter thrown into the mix! I highly recommend this series.
This had no cliffhangers and can be read as a standalone, but reading them together it’s such a decadent treat .
Love this series. Just get better
Love this!!!
I absolutely love Wes and Quinn and their chemistry from the very beginning. Another fabulous story from Crystal in her unique writing style which had me turning the pages as quickly as I could! Highly recommended.
I am on the fence with this book. I liked it, but found it lacking at times. The dialogue was confusing way too much. I found myself re-reading it to figure out who was saying what several times. It was a great romance, even with all the confusion!! It did drag out a little too far. But I loved the characters!!

This is an amazing read and I really enjoyed the way it is written. You can’t help but be brought right into the story and everything the characters are going through. The emotions are real, raw and intense. The characters are complex with intriguing personalities that just adds to the storyline. Quinn’s intense anxiety and Wes’ go with the flow attitude makes for a great contrast but as you read, you realize there is more then meets the eye. I was hooked from the first chapter and could not put it down. Great read, amazing romance with lots of intense emotions.

An entertaining book, it took me a bit to get into the flow simply because of the writing style, but once I got into a rhythm it didn’t take long to get through the entire book. Loved the chemistry between Wes and Quinn, and her approach to ask him to help her was all kinds of awkward yet cute. The dialogue flowed well and the story is balanced with the right amount of drama and angst.
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we get Quinn Thorn and Westley “Wes” Keatings story. Quinn and Wes have know each other for years. So when Quinn decides she is done being the good girl and wants to punch her V-card she goes for the hottest guy she know Wes. She knows what she wants and that isn’t a commitment it is just her learning the ways to rocking a body, to bad she is almost to shy to ask for it. Wes has though Quinn was beautiful for years now but never though she would want him. He knows he is going to help her out first he just needs to make sure she is serious. The more he learns what she wants the more he wants it too. What happens though when it becomes more than just sex? Will they find a HEA or will they both go down in flames?
This is an amazing story. It does have its ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don’t wan to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will grab hold of you from the first word and not let go even when you read those two words “The End”. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Audiobook review:
Losing It is a contemporary romance with cute ancedotes. Wes & Quinn take the plunge into a sexual teaching relationship with rules and awkwardness. With a bit of angst, conflict, & inner turmoil seeping through the narrative. I enjoyed listening to the chitchat between the characters at the ink shop. A happily ever after to end this fun listen.
Narators Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott never disappoint. My favourite duet’s performance brings out the narrative & gives the character’s a voice. I loved the performance.
I absolutely love this couple! Quinn and Wes are so cute together with their quips and jokes about everything. They always seem to have the perfect comebacks with each other, even when they feel awkward and nervous. The way an unique agreement turns into a perfect love for each other was so much fun listening to. The narrators brought so much life into this book that you could only live it more than you would have if you were reading it yourself. A must listen for sure!
This story was written in a new style for me. It took a little getting used to but I did love it! Quinn was determined to lose it, and Wes was determined to get Quinn. I loved the play between them. It was sweet and sexy and I am looking forward to more!

Losing It
By: Crystal Kaswell
Narrated by: Kai Kennicott, Wen Ross
“Losing It” is an original, well written story that engrossed me from start to end. The storylines and characters are interesting and well developed. Quinn, a 22 year old student is all set to go to med school. She decides she wants to lose her virginity and chose who she wants to lose it to. Wes, a hot, tattooed up, tattoo artist is her choice. She awkwardly approaches him with her proposition, unbeknownst to her, he was crushing on her so he was all in. There is great chemistry between them and as the story heats up so does that chemistry. Great back and forth dialogue, witty, funny at times, heartfelt and emotional too. There is also angst and drama going on with friends and family. I loved Quinn & Wes’ story it is enjoyable, entertaining
and emotional at times. Crystal Kaswell, thank you for this great story.
I listened to the Audible edition, narrated by the talented Kai Kennicott and Wenn Ross. They are an awesome team, their performances compliment each other and are alway top notch and entertaining. I love how they bring the characters to life and give them attitude and personality. Thanks for another great listen
Hunter is an alcoholic but is now clean. But he is still broken and doesn’t think he is good enough for Emma. Emma is such a strong woman but she has her issues as well. Just gotta love her spunk! Their story does not hold back when dealing with their problems and insecurities. This book is sad and frustrating yet when Hunter and Emma get together, their chemistry is great. They just have so much to work through that at times you question whether they can work through it all. That is what makes this book soooo good!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. While it would help to read the other books before this one (think it is the 5th in this series) to know all the characters, it isn’t necessary.
