From Audrey Carlan, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Calendar Girl series.Los Angeles, USA: When it comes to making fantasies come true, there’s no better destination than Hollywood. After surviving hell on earth, the real healing begins. I’ve never been happier or more content in my life. With my dream girl by my side, I can do anything. The future has never been brighter.A case takes … future has never been brighter.
A case takes me to Los Angeles, California, to participate in a new television dating program. I’m only supposed to consult on life, love, and dating. The plan was never to meet Skyler’s celebrity look-alike or to make an appearance on the show itself.
This was supposed to be a quick trip. Fly in for a few days, fly out. Do the job and make it back to my woman, who’s dealing with the aftermath of her trauma all alone.
How did I get roped into all this? And what’s Skyler going to think when she sees me on television as a contestant?

Los Angeles is everything a finale can ever dream to be! I fell so deeply in love with this family of characters that I felt everything they did from hope to despair, pain to relief, glee to terror, and hatred to love. This last installment is just…everything.
I loved that the installment began with such excitement and hope! I admit that I cried through certain parts of this book. These characters have taken parts of my heart and their joy became mine and it just spilled from me. This is the power of Audrey Carlan. She makes you feel what her characters do.
Sky! I thoroughly enjoyed her project! And I enjoyed her chill moments! One part made me laugh so hard and I just have one word…Gordo. Even thinking it cracks me up!! I love Sky so much like she’s a younger sister and I just want to hang out with her and protect her and love her.
Park! Who couldn’t love a man like him, who loves his woman and his family, including his brothers, with his entire being? Who couldn’t love a man who respects others, regardless of who they are or where they came from? Who couldn’t love a man who is just good people? I love Park so very much!
The epilogue had me in tears from the first word to the last. I’m not ashamed to admit it, tough exterior or not. It was so incredibly beautiful. And I’m talking ugly cry. That’s how much I love Sky and Park. That’s how much I needed their HEA.
Audrey, thank you for this installment. Thank you for reminding me that happiness is a choice. And yes, I choose to be happy. Thank you for such a beautiful book!
Great ending to amazing series!
I am going to miss Parker, Sky and the gang, over the last year, they’ve become sort of family. In this last installment the story beautifully wraps up and provides us with flashes of the future Sky and Parker so richly deserve. If you enjoy your romance steamy, swoony, action packed and suspenseful, the International Guy series is definitely a must read for you!
I got into this series, late in the game. The advantage was being able to go from one book to the next, without waiting.
The story of Parker and Skylar is wonderful, sexy and very satisfying.
I like how the author did not fill us in about Royse and Bo, in the epilogue, leaving room for more books about the International Guys.
You will fall in love with them all.
This book brings the series full circle and omg it made me deliriously happy for the whole IG team and their families!
Its amazing that after 12 stories that the team have made a huge impression on my heart and soul! I think its a real credit to the author that she could put together a series that had uplifting words, a real sense of love and family and strength of heart in all of the characters!
Los Angeles is where Parker and Royce head to for a new tv reality show but underneath it all Sky has something up her sleeve and thats all I will say! Ill leave you to be surprised!
An ending so good it will leave you with a happy heart that is full of joy!
This is a series that is an absolute favorite and I cannot wait to see what the author has in store for us next!! Well played Ms Carlan, well played!
Parker heads off to LA for a quick job. He is prepping the contestants for a dating show. This is Sky’s first time being left alone after all they have been through. All kinds of crazy happens in this final installment to finish off the wonderful IG series. The author does a great job of wrapping this story up and throwing in some fun surprises. Can’t wait to see what Audrey has in store for us next.
LOS ANGELES: INTERNATIONAL GUY BOOK 12
“Just roll with life as it comes. Stop letting fear drive your decisions. It’s time to let love take the driver’s seat.”
This book is everything!!! As much as I didn’t want this series to end…you will not be disappointed with the way Audrey Carlson left the IG team. I sure hope some tidbits we were left with is a hint of more to come some day…
“I’m going to lick my wounds and regroup. She’s it. My endgame. I just have to find a way to convince her I’m hers.”
To my Dream Girl . . . To my Dream Maker . . . HAPPINESS IS A CHOICE . . . Love, US
Audrey Carlan finished this phenomenal series with all the feels and had my heart bursting with joy. I couldn’t have asked for a better or more lovely ending . I adored these characters so much and am sad to see the series end. They truly were family in every sense of the word and I felt like I knew them in real life. I could be best friends with Sky, Wendy and Rachel. Everyone knows I have a huge crush on my smoking hot book boyfriend, Bo. But let’s be real, Parker and Royce are easy to love and hard to forget. I will miss their crazy adventures. Thank you for this enchanting finale my heart and soul needed to feel complete. It was so beautiful beyond words!
The mantras throughout the cities were fantastic and spot on and AC did not let me down with her final mirror moment. I was so giddy and grinning from ear to ear. In every story Ms. Carlan writes I find something I learn and it reminds me of my worth. I appreciate that more than she will ever know. She delivers happily ever afters that are exceptional and make you feel like you won the lotto over and over again and this ending is amazing. International Guy is a sexy, thrilling and suspenseful ride that makes women feel empowered, beautiful and loved for exactly who they are, they just needed reminding or a push in the right direction.
IG fills your mind, heart and soul with hope, admiration, desire, and faith. These mantras will travel with me to remind me what’s actually important in my every day life. Don’t forget to Live Your Truth, Own Your Future, Embrace Your Sexy, Trust Your Heart, Feed Your Soul, Brave the Ride and Never Stop Dreaming and you will be happier than you can imagine in this crazy world. You are golden Ms. Carlan. Thank you Audrey for this unique, show stoping, magnificent, and panty melting series that will nestle deep in my heart for years to come
I am completely swept away by this last book and this entire Series. The ending with this last book leaves you with warm fuzzies showing the love of Skylar, Parker and the rest of the gang. It’s sad to see the series end. *Sigh*
After all the tension and stress of the previous books Los Angeles starts with a wedding. No, not Sky and Parker at least not yet, but my two favourite characters – Wendy and Mick and the entire team is attendance for the happy day. Parker is happy just enjoying being with Sky without the drama their courtship consisted of but Sky is ready to take that next step. All she has to do now is persuade Parker. With Bo looking after Lucky’s until Randy is back on his feet, Parker and Royce are on their way to Los Angeles for their latest job, helping the contestants on a new dating show. Meanwhile Sky is occupied with the arrangements regarding her upcoming movie… or is she?
This book is just like one big epilogue and indeed has an of its own epilogue showing SkyPark at various stages in their future and also gives small glimpses of what is in store for the remaining members of International Guy, books that Ms Carlan hints are maybe coming. I for one can’t wait. All I can say for now is “Oh Bo, what have you done!!!”
This is the final book in the series and what a great ending. This book ties up all of the other 11 books and gives you Parker and Skylar’s HEA. It also dives a bit more as to what has been going on with Royce and Bo, setting up the continuation of their stories for new books. Definitely my favorite book of the series!
Love the way she finishes off the whole series! My ONLY complaint would have been that I needed more, but we may get that in the future so I’m just left with anticipation of spinoff books. Los Angeles had a lot less drama and a lot more happy endings. Sky and Parker get their hard won happy ending and of course it’s in a big way.
I can’t believe this series just ended after our trip to Los Angeles. 12 books… I truly can’t believe it, it sounds like such a HUGE number but I sucked these books down.
Los Angeles tied everything up in a bright sparkly bow. Parker and Royce head to LA to help with a brand new reality show, but little do they know that Skyler is cooking up a little scheme that will shock the boys in LA. Don’t worry it is all good 😉
I can’t wait until Audrey Carlan decides to write more books in this IG world. The little hints we got at the future of the other members of the IG team have me salivating for more.
This series was a sexy, suspenseful, passionate journey around the world.
The Mix and Match part was just dumb, dumb, dumb. I’m not even convinced that Skyler’s character would actually do that, and there’s no reason why she would need to. I feel like there was more sex than I wanted in the last few books than in the previous ones. At a certain point that’s just enough already–even Skyler agreed with me on that!
I did like the epilogue and am glad to know there will be spin offs of the Royce and Bo characters. I might read them, not sure.
I feel like this is the series that went horribly wrong–not as described in the ‘About the Series’ paragraphs at all, and not even consistent with the first chapter description in book one. The series started out so strong then I hit book 9 and it was downhill from there. The premise that it began with was nothing like what it ended up with. Too bad. I was really interested in a series about empowering women.
