Allie is about to discover a heritage of power…and blood…werecreatures, magic, and a misguided vampire who wants to kill two men who could be the loves of her life.
Allie was adopted. She had always known it, but when a mysterious older woman shows up and invites her to learn about her birth family, things take a turn for the odd.
Then Allie meets the Lords. Twin Alpha werewolves who rule over … werewolves who rule over all North American were, Rafe and Tim may look exactly alike, but Allie can tell them apart from the moment they first meet. She’s not sure what to think when they both want to claim her as their mate.
They are dominant, sexy, and all too ready to play games of the most delicious kind with her, but when a rogue vampire threatens her safety, they jump to her defense. It will take all of them working together, to stop the evil that has invaded their territory. Can they trust in each other and the power of their new love to prevail? Or will an ancient enemy win the day and usher evil incarnate back into the world?
Note: This story is a menage. It was also first published in 2006 with a different cover. It has undergone light editing for this re-release.

Yes, I know I am still mostly comfort reading my go to books but with everything I have learned about grief and parenthood, this could very well be the case for the rest of my life but that is something I will touch on in a blog post on my other blog. Besides Lords Of The Were is very worth revisiting from time to time. I mean, come on, you get hot identical twins who change into wolves and a priestess who is willing to do what ever her twins ask her to do (we will address this more in depth in the heat rating ) except sit at home meekly waiting for them while they are out fighting the good fight with eclectic mix of allies. She wants to be out there kicking ass to and she is a real bad ass when she vanquishes the bad guys or heals a friend will rescuing a new friend.
Well I guess it is obvious what rating I am giving this book since it only took me a paragraph to tell you how much I love the story line in Lords Of The Were. With this story is somewhere near the top of my favorites list it is a good thing it is the e-book version, since I have read it so many times that if it were a book, I would be replacing it after reading it to death. I highly recommend at least giving it one read through, as for me, I will undoubtedly read it again in the future, especially as it is one of my go to comfort books. And as we all know a good comfort book is way better than comfort food any day.

Love the Tales of the Were Universe
Lords of the Were
Ally at 30 is just discovering her heritage. The daughter of a Priestess of the Lady and her twin Were Lord mates who were mountain cats. When the were killed by servants of evil when she was very young, she was sent into hiding. Adopted and raised by humans. It is now time to take her place among her people.
Tim and Rafe are the current Were Lords. The leaders of most of the Were in North America they had to take the roll as leaders of their people at age 14, a year after their first shift to their wolf forms, after the previous Lords and their Lady were killed.
The Lords of the Were are always identical twins, there animals very. More than just brothers, they share a soul. They just met their mate in Ally, the daughter of the previous Lords and a new Priestess to the Lady.
While Rafe is sure, Tim resists. Everything is new to Ally. Ally can tell them apart, no one else can. Her kind heart brings Tim around. Evil is stalking them. An ancient society is after Ally and if they can eliminate the current Were Lords, even better. They have help, in a ancient Vampire who was once a Knight and a half Fae Knight as well as Ally’s mentor and the Alpha’s of the various Were Clans that fall under the Lords Rule.
Fast paces, very steamy MFM, menage with light D/s and light BDSM. Great world building. Various Were Folk, Vampires, Fae, Witches, and sorcerer. A ancient Evil battling against those who serve the Light and the Lady.
Several series set in the Tales of the Were universe. The series intertwine but read fine as stand alone. This is a reread for me. 2020 reading goal is to reread and catch up on new additions to this series.
this series too. I about twins :).
