It was fun to watch all of the Lords fall deeply in love when some of them swore they would not.
I have many of Wendy’s series and this may not have been her best series. I am deadly on textures and these had some but not enough. I crave word pictures, and there was just not enough. They followers each other and some suspense.
Really enjoyed reading this series of books. Hard to put them down!
I enjoyed reading this ‘lords and ladies’ romantic fiction. She is a good writer!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. The characters were engaging and I was genuinely interested in them and their stories. The humor and interplay among the friends (The Lords of Night Street) reminded me of family. Each story and heroine was different, even if the outcome of each story was predictable. We are looking for Happy Ever After stories, after all.
Good, not great. I can really relate to some of her other books/characters better. It is still decent regency romance.
Came as a boxed set on KU, so I am reading them again… very good, even a second time!!!
These were fun!
Four Lords Find Forever Love
As a four book set, Lords of Night Street by Wendy Vella is an entertaining reading experience. Each book is well written with interesting characters and a tight plot. The four featured lords are all secretly the Night Street investigators and each is destined to find their forever loves, even if they are a bit reluctant. Books one and four are my favorite, but the other two are okay. My only real negative comment has to do with the endings of each book. Although happy, each ending just left me a bit dissatisfied. None had an epilogue, which would have definitely moved each read up a star.
Content 411: In addition to secular and religious swearing, each book has passionate kissing and descriptive sexual intimacy.
Not as good as the Sinclair and Raven series.
Loved, loved, LOVED this series….all in one! Could not wait for the next story. Since all were “packaged” together, it flowed. Highly recommend this series!! Would give it 20 stars (5 for each story) if I couldn’t!
This was fun to read in order. While each book shared a similar plot, each had it’s own different twist. I really enjoyed the characters.
The guys in this series are fun to read about. The girls are great too. Enjoy each book and the characters.
I really enjoyed the first book, but felt the others in the series were too similar. Still a decent read.
Entertaining series with strong women and the men who fall in love with them
Absolutely one of the best set of books I have read. Please don’t miss the opportunity to read these stories
Love Wendy Vella’s books. She didn’t disappoint again!
LOVED the whole series! Wonderful premise & I liked it that all of the women weren’t what society would have considered befitting for a Lord. Well, neither did the Lords at first. Hah! Little did they know what they were in for!!!
The books were short stories but they were well written. At the end of each I wanted to read more.
Loved them all. Wish there were more, hated to finish, loved the people. Very entertaining.
