Fun, romantic, cozy mystery featuring amateur sleuth and antique store owner, Lucy Mathews. Lucy and her dog find romance and murder in the mountains of Montana.
Lucy Mathews, crime reporter turned antiques dealer, avoids confrontation like a home perm. She even lets a cat shove her around.
When Lucy trips over the body of a buckskin-clad relics trader, her ex-boss asks her to cover the … to cover the story. She tries to tell him no, but old habits die hard and soon she finds herself directly in the path of a killer and the exasperating, if attractive, detective in charge.
Can Lucy catch a killer or is this the last confrontation for her — period?

Didn’t find it engaging
Fun murder mystery.
Characters so real they could live and work in my hometown, and a believable plotline with plenty of twists and turns. A fun read!
Not much substance
What’s not to like about an entertaining murder mystery
A classic Cozy Mystery, with characters you’ll want to hang out with again. Highly recommended for fans of the genre.
This was a fun, easy, quick read. Lucy is very down to earth and it is easy to root for her. Love her dog too!
it was a good book
Cute. I enjoyed the story.
I really, really enjoyed this book. It’s good clean mystery fun with just enough romance! Great characters (Lucy is a cute mess, Rhonda is a true best friend, and Blake is a bona fide dreamboat detective) and great plot. Well written with excellent dialogue.
