I can’t say enough about this book. I love John Green, and I love this baby from the title on down. I’m not saying anything else, other than that I love the prose, because spoilers.
My favorite book of all time! He captures the essence of life and love perfectly!

Different – in a good way. Unexpected twists.
I am totally in love with book! So much drama and steamy moments between charactors. It was just… amazing. Speechless. Totally recommend this wonderful book!
Just speechless
seriously amazing. the friendships are the best part.
In this book, we see the world through the eyes of Miles Halter. Miles is leaving his hometown in Florida to go to boarding school in Alabama. Miles doesn’t have a lot of friends and is kind of a nobody. At boarding school, he gets a friendship with the Colonel who introduces him to Alaska. This book is overall amazing! It is really slow and boring at first but then you get to the middle and it is like Oh My God this is AMAZING!!!!!!!
This book is so real. It shows the real life struggles of love and loss. The characters are absolutely amazing and have so much detail. John green starts off fantastic in his beginning novel!
Too similar to A Fault in Our Stars. Not the same at all character and situation wise. But similar. I read the two too closer together.
This is a story of Miles (who gets nicknamed Pudge in the book) who goes off to a boarding school in Alabama. He didn’t have much of a social life in high school, and he was glad for the change. His new roommate Chip (nicknamed “The Colonel) is a super smart, poor boy who loves to prank others. Alaska, is the beautiful, tortured girl that Miles …
This book blew me away. The story grabbed me immediately, leading me unsuspecting, chuckling , toward a climax that I didn’t see coming until it hit me.
It’s my favorite book of all time and recommend it to to anyone who reads
John Green is a master story teller who creates believable characters and storylines that we can all relate to. I love reading all of his books.
This young adult fictional book for older teens passionately weaves humor with drama. Its richly defined characters search for their identity as they cement friendships and deal with loss at the Culver Creek Boarding School. A great read for adults too!
another true John Green teen book. Great book about teen navigating the terrible year of teenagehood, I had a bit of a struggle getting into it but just couldn’t give it up. ONly half way through but I am sure to finish it.
not enough words to describe this wonderful piece of literature…..
This book was emotional, as are many of the Green books I’ve read.
I think this book is important for teenagers to read for two very important reasons… both of which would have me leave spoilers, so I will just say there are two possible reasons for the tragedy in the book… BOTH are issues that teens need to be more aware of.
This novel …
