Longing for Love (Sunset Bay Romance Book 3) by Debra Clopton
This book is about Erin Sinclair who has opened her own B & B and Nash Bond, a book author who hopes a change of scenery will cure his writer’s block.
He was so grumpy, because of this problem. Grief and hurts from his past didn’t help his disposition. But he did make effort to change and came back to her after a sudden departure.
Also included in this book is a small town festival, and Erin’s large family.
Longing for Love is book three in the Sunset Bay Romance series. I always get excited when I get to read a book by this author. I loved Nash and Erin’s story. I was hooked from the start. This is one not to be missed.
Longing for Love by Debra Clopton
Sunset Bay Series Book Three
Erin Sinclair’s B&B isn’t taking off like she had hoped it would. Thankfully, she has someone booked for two months. A famous author. She sets out to be the best hostess she can be…only, the stubborn man won’t let her. He wants to stay holed up in his room and take care of himself. How will she get a five-star review if she can’t do her job?
Nash Bond has people waiting for his next book. When the one person who had loved him, encouraged him, believed in him, died…his writing stalled. Now, he’s in a small town and in a B&B that his agent thought would be good for him. He soon finds out it is a good change. And the pesky owner even starts to grow on him.
No matter who we become, the negative past has a way of keeping its claws in us. Following us through life. Choosing how we act and think of ourselves. Nash, as successful as he is, is carrying around that negative load and it could cost him. I loved this story and the characters.

Longing for Love is such a great addition to the Sunset Bay Romance series! I absolutely loved this story! It is book three in the series, but you can probably jump in and enjoy it even if you haven’t read the first two books.
I liked these two characters a lot, even though at the beginning of the story, Nash was very difficult and grouchy. I really felt for Erin as she tried to run her Bed and Breakfast and wanted to be a good hostess to someone who just wanted to be left alone.
But it was just so fun to see the relationship begin to develop between these two. There were good reasons that Nash had developed such a solitary personality. He had a lot to overcome. Erin had such a sweet personality and such a caring heart. I loved the way she affected Nash.
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
Erin and Nash clash at first. He has so much hurt in his past that it was hard for him to let anyone in. Loved catching up with previous characters and seeing ones from the Windswept Bay series. This couple has some bumps but the ending was so romantic. Looking forward to Jonah’s book.
OMG. If you like clean romances that also include humor, strong family connections, friends that are there for each other, and a good mix of characters, you will want to read this book/series. I would say this is my favorite book in the series but each book I read becomes my new favorite.
Erin’s B&B is new and a good review from the reclusive writer Nash Bond would be a big boost for her business. But can she can to continue to be a good hostess when he seems to be doing everything in his power to thwart her efforts?
Nash is a complex character who does make mistakes – but then who among us doesn’t? This is especially the case at the times when he lets his insecurities creep in. The question is whether he will be able to overcome them to explore the attraction he feels to Erin.
If I ever feel like I need a pick-me-up, all I have to do is read one of this author’s books. I’m so looking forward to the rest of the books in this series.
This third book in the series is another sweet, clean, touching story by this author.
Though a stand alone, I would highly recommend that the reader , read the previous stories since those characters do have secondary parts in this one.
This story centers around Erin Sinclair and Nash Bond.
Erin is the proud owner of the new B & B in town . She is still in the midst of renovations and is struggling with the business. When a famous author, known to be a difficult individual, books a room in her B & B, she sees is as an opportunity to make it a successful inn.
Nash is suffering from writer’s block and his agent was the one that booked the inn accommodations.
Though these two had a rough start, a sort of friendship develops.
They are both complex characters, especially Nash.
This is a story about how one’s childhood and how the parents have treated one, will in fact affect an individual as an adult. In this case, we experience the characters feelings of “not being good enough”, and of being afraid to love. Can the past be overcome in order to find happiness or will the fear stop them from finding happiness and “the missing piece” of their lives?
Another engaging , at time heartbreaking as well as heartwarming story by this talented author.
I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
