Shane West is known around these parts as one that got away. Oh, he’s happy to take the ladies on long rides night after night, just as long as there’s no commitment. With his piercing blue eyes, and unflinching stare, he’s a man of few regrets, and no strings.
Until now.
Shane shouldn’t have promised Chuck he’d protect his property and keep his granddaughter safe from her devious boyfriend. … devious boyfriend. But Shane’s loyal to the core, and Chuck was on his deathbed. Six months of wedlock seemed like an easy tradeoff to let the man Shane considered a father pass away in peace.
Now Shane’s got an unbroke filly on his hands.
How long will he be able to control himself around the prettiest woman he’s ever seen? She’s prancing around the house in skimpy outfits, begging him to take her V-Card.
Oh, he’ll take it alright.
And once he does, he’ll never want to let her go.
Saddle up, Sugar. The cowboy-cavemen are back. Shane West is an alpha hero to the nth degree. Expect high heat, love at first sight, and an over the top plot.
Happily ever after guaranteed.
Grab the reins, let’s saddle up with Long Hard Ride!

Loved this story! It’s. A great addition to this cowboy series.
The character’s chemistry is off the charts! Fantastic storyline!
Great read! Can’t wait for the next one!
Hot dam! The west is definitely wild and long. Shane West is one hot af alpha take charge cowboy. I new he was sexy in Ride’Em Hard but I didn’t know he be a beast. There were time I had to take a break and cool off because the story was a freakin inferno. Yet underneath all that wicked dirty sex was a love story that was so sweet and full of hope. Adriana painted great visuals with her words of description. I could see Brooke’s painting, the shed that Shane built as well as the field where Brooke sunbathed. Well done Adriana. Adriana was reading my mind because I have wanted Jenny’s story from the beginning of the series. Typical Adriana the story is not how I thought it would be. I’m excited to meet the newest alpha so let the fun begin. Until next time y’all happy reading.
“You were saving your virginity for me, and I was saving my heart for you.”
Older man/younger woman, fake and arranged marriage, a bit of Dom and sub…another thigh-clincher! Shane McCallum West is a 36yo commitment-phobe but he has agreed to marry his mentor’s granddaughter. What does he get? For going along with this he gets money and land. BUT, when he sees the 21yo version of Brooke, he wonders…could there be more? He hasn’t seen her since she was 10yo and my, oh my, has she grown up. Brooke likes the looks of the older Shane just as much as he drools over the older version of her. He’s determined to not consummate the marriage where she is determined to lose her virginity to Shane. We have two very strong personalities trying to make an old man’s dream come true.
Loved this story, but then again, I’ve loved the whole series! I’ve already bought the next book. Not all is smooth sailing in this story. There is an Ex who is up to some really bad stuff. There is Shane’s stubbornness in keeping Brooke at arm’s length, even after they shared one glorious day. Which brings up the fact that there are some really hot, HOT scenes between these two. I especially like the scene where she’s talking “art” and he’s thinking s**.
I was offered an ARC of this book to review but I chose to buy it and it comes highly recommended to readers who like HOT, older man/younger woman stories.
Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read. Another great addition to the series. The author does a fantastic job building the story , bringing strong well developed characters and describes them perfectly. She brings the story to life with her vividly detailed scenes and keeps you reading to the end with all the action, twists, turns and emotions flowing throughout. I loved this book and am looking forward to the next one. Highly recommend.
