“Indignation rattled my bones. “Are you freaking kidding me with this? Not once did I bring up that you owe me. I saved your neck because you needed help. Help is fluid. If you need it, you take it. If you have it, you give it. Anything else is currency, and I’m not stupid enough to treat kindness like Common cash. You shouldn’t be, either.” “Settle, Prim, Lugh warned. “We need her to help us still.” I was firm in my verdict. “We need her to love the Fae. If she’s not capable, then no amount of bartering will convince her.” (pg. 377).
Mary E. Twomey Blew Me Out Of The Water with this 13th book in the series!
Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen in Queen Rosie’s second life – Many events that test her team to their limits; loyalties are stretched to the breaking point, and Uncle Dub complicates Rosie and Kerdick’s “Happily Ever After.”
Each character continues to be a fully-fleshed person with imperfect emotions that tend to wage war with their intellect. The world-building remains Top-Notch, with Poetic Descriptions of creatures, flora and fauna. This novel truly holds one’s attention while it takes the Beautiful Bookworm on a Rip-Roaring Ride!
The path to True Love is Never Smooth – with many twists and turns, Dearest Reader you will need to “gird Your Loins” for! This is as much as I will reveal, as I Never reveal spoilers so that everyone can enjoy each book.
I so Highly Recommend that you add this series to your home library.
This is certainly a series that you simply should not pass up! Each book builds on the one before and is just a captivating, leaving you looking forward to the next. Lonely Girl is no exception. Rosie is so strong and amazing, handling all the curveballs thrown at her with nothing but finesse and charm. No spoilers here, but you should read from the beginning of the series as each book develops the characters and the story into something that you just won’t want to put down. Rosie adventure has been tough and rough, but the author delights with a perfect story with humor injected in just the right places. Chock full of characters you love to love and love to hate, have some tissues close by as you delve into one of the best fantasy series I have ever read.
