“Jean Brashear’s portrait of two wounded souls who find each other just when they most need someone is beautifully, gently drawn. Brashear’s smooth style and attention to detail make [this] story quietly captivating.” ~RTBookclub 4 ½ of 5 stars
From New York Times and USAToday bestselling author Jean Brashear, the first three stories in her Lone Star Lovers series:Three Texas brothers—a … series:
Three Texas brothers—a Hollywood superstar, a wounded warrior and an FBI agent haunted by the girl he couldn’t save—and the complicated women no one would have predicted for them
Texas Heartthrob: An emotional movie star romance about a man who can’t walk away from trouble—and a woman who’s nothing but.
Texas Healer: Wounded former Special Forces medic holds the power to heal both a fragile doctor’s body and her wounded heart…but she can’t stay in his world—and he can’t leave.
Texas Protector: A reunion romance between a detective forever haunted by the night when he couldn’t save a young girl from trauma—now she’s a cop herself, and he has to send her undercover to lure a murderer.
“Tight suspense and great chemistry between the lead characters make Jean Brashear’s [book] a page-turner.” ~RTBookclub 4 ½ of 5 stars

I love reading about cowboys, the west and romance. Jean Brashear is one of my favorite authors and she never disappoints! Her descriptions of the characters makes them jump off the page and you feel like you know them!
I enjoyed both the men and the women in these 3 books. The ties between the stories come from the 3 brothers, each in their own profession – an actor, a healer and an FBI agent. Each meats a woman who is instantly recognizable as their love. Of course, each brother wants to protect and heal the pain the woman feels. Each woman also feels the romantic pull of the man who would be her loving partner but wants to be whole and capable and strong.
The family sounds amazing yet isn’t perfect. Each character has their faults that have to be worked through to find a compromise to a happy ending. Raina and Liam are in the first book, and you can see how each work through their problems and feel the pain they feel in doing so. Rafe and Diana are in the second book. I liked it the least although maybe it’s because I did not see how the ending would go. Then comes Alex and Jade who have the most action-packed story of the three. Definitely a good series to read.
Texas Heartthrob
This is a Heart wrenching and heart-warming story courage, healing and love.
The storyline will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, holding your breath cheering for the good guys.
Another beautifully written love story from Jean Brashear.
Texas Healing
Ms Brashear once again gives us a heart-warming romance with endearing characters.
This love story is emotional and uplifting.
I loved their story and can highly recommend it.
Texas Protector
Another great story from Ms Brashear
There is a blend of romance & suspense with unforgettable characters you can’t help but fall in love with.
Highly recommend
Another wonderful series from Jean Brashear.
These stories are like tiger sauce, sweet and hot at the same time! With all the tragic news everyday picking up these stories is like visiting an oasis. I always look for books in this series as well as the other series.
This is a really good series.
This bundle from Jean Brashear tells the stories of 3 hot brothers. I really enjoyed their stories.
Loved these stories of 3 brothers. Great plots.
There are 3 books and 3 stories about 3 brothers. The first one is Liam , a famous movie actor and Raina, who is hooked on drugs. The setting is in the backwoods of N. Carolina. It is interesting and lots of action as he tries to save her from an unsavory character.
The other 2 books were much better than the first one and the main characters are Rafe, the oldest and a recovering vet and med who meets Diana a cardiologist sen to his village to recover from the an accident.
The last one is the best of all with Alex, another brother who is with the FBI and Jade ,a policewoman who team up to find a serial killer.I liked this one the best and couldn’t wait to get to the end. I will read more by this author.
Jean Brashear writes a heartfelt story. Her characters are authentic. I’ll continue to read her stories, any time.
Brothers
Three women come into each of the brothers lives at times when either they or them are needed most. Liam finds love in Raina in the backwoods of North Carolina, Rafe finds in his own backyard with Diana while she recovers and Alex finds it in Jade the girl helped years before.
Jean Brashear always has a new twist to her stories.
I like these books
Good relaxing reads
Of the three books, I enjoyed the first and third books the best. The three brothers showed up in each other’s book which brought you up to date on them. I like that.
Texas Heartthrob Review: In my opinion this was Texas Lonely with a few changes. I felt that Jean Brashear just replaced Mitch and Perrie’s names with Liam and Raina’s names. I had to go back and make sure I did not already read it, I kept saying this sounds familiar. I was entertained but I was not WOWED!.
Texas Healer Review: I found Rafe and Diana both damaged physically and mentally. I liked how Rafe tries to give Diana space, yet pushes her. I enjoyed Rafe and Diana’s journey to love. I liked Diana she is strong, independent and yet she is vulnerable. I enjoyed watching her grow. Rafe is very stocic, I found him hard to get to know. I enjoyed Texas Healer, but I’m finding this similar to other Jean Brashear’s Series.
Texas Protector Review: Of the Lone Star Lovers Boxed Set 1-3 Texas Protector was my favorite. It gave me everything I like in a book suspense and a strong woman. My attention was grabbed in the prologue, it gave me a little insight into Alex. I meet Alex in previous books and found him to be a jerk, now I understand a little better. I loved Jade how she fought to overcome her past and become a strong women. Alex was not likable at all even though I know why he is like he is. I can say he redeems himself. I figured out who the villain was the minute we meet the person. Texas Protector kept me on the edge of my seat.
The overall boxed set I enjoyed.
This was a good, easy read. No need for deep thinking just keep turning the pages.
Good entertaining story.
Ok
Enjoyed the series!
