Note: A long long time ago, I wrote a book called LONDON BOUND. You can no longer get that book, but Alexi and Abbie have gotten another chance to tell you their story in a whole new way. LONDON ROYAL and LONDON SOUL are a new take on their story adding them to my royals world! These books have fresh material, a fresh plot, and are being told from a whole new point of view. Enjoy!

I greatly enjoyed this book.
London Soul is the continuation of Alexi and Abbie’s story. This book picks up right where book 1 left off and you find out what happens to Abbie. It’s a harmless prank but it sets Alexi into protective mode and Abbie has to deal with her feelings. The book continues with many ups and downs that Alexi and Abbie must face before they remakes they truly are it for each other. The appearance of Easton wasn’t something I was expecting but I was glad the way the situation played out. Some secrets that came out were shocking but shows you why Alexi and Xander’s bond is so strong. The drama at the end was a little bit of a shake up but was needed to tie everything up. The jump back into the present leads us to even more mysteries and a huge cliffhanger that I can’t believe happened…really hoping Xander’s story comes out soon! Another great duet by Ms. Malone.
Getting all our questions answered! This book leaves off where the last one in this duet left off, and the answers to all our questions start coming in hot! We get to see Abbie finally close the chapter in her life with Easton and have her time to show how her character has truly grown from the beginning of the last book. We also get to know more about Lex and what actually happened to him as a child. While the road to happiness between them wasn’t easy, everything finally comes out into the open when the media ousts them, and the truth sets Lex free but with Abbie’s past, it might be too late. The only thing I wasn’t too happy with was how the ending really rushed through catching up to present time and addressing the twins becoming princes. I will say that the transition into the next duet was so seamless and really pulls you in and gets you excited to find out what exactly happens! With this being my second duet with Nana, I’ve gotten to know her style of writing, and while I feel the endings are rushed, I really enjoy that they are duets so things get resolved yet we still get a cliffhanger with each storyline.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This was the conclusion to Lex and Abbie’s story. There was a lot of drama and mistrust in this book. A lot of this had to do with Lex not telling Abbie his history and every time she thinks he’s told her everything and that there’s no secrets between them, another one pops up. Will Abbie ever be able to trust Lex and get over his past or will she cut ties with Lex?
While I enjoyed how she wraps up Lex and Abbie’s story, I love how she hooks you into wanting more about Xander.
Wow, what an epilogue. I can’t believe you left me hanging yet again. Yes, you finished Lex and Abbie’s story, but now you have me intrigued with Xan and Imani. What the freaking heck.
What will the future hold for this family? Lex and Abbie had to work so hard to overcome their own, individual issues in order to become a couple. I still have so many unanswered questions. Questions I need to know the answers to. It’s going to drive me batty waiting for the next book. Well done. Not many can drive me batty.
London Soul is the second book in the London Royal Duet. There is a lot going on in this second book. We learn more about Alexi and his past. The storyline is fast-paced, filled with intrigue, secrets and twists and turns. This is a great conclusion to Alexi and Abby’s story. This is also a suspenseful introduction to Xander’s story! I loved this duet and I highly recommend it.
Abbie and Alexi are still trying to figure out life, despite both their baggage. Neither of them could ever imagine the road blocks that would be coming at them, and neither are sure that their relationship will survive. And just when you think the story is wrapped up in a pretty little bow, bam, another massive cliffhanger! I can’t wait for the next book!
When last we visited Abby and Lex they were so confused about what they were, even I couldn’t untangle the mess.
Abby as a character is highly relatable. She has a story you can get behind. You’ll cheer with her and cry with her. She’s one of those memorable people you can’t not remember.
Lex and his brother are complicated. Mere pawns on a chessboard, in a game that started decades before they were even born. So many questions. So little time to figure it all out. Why oh why can this author not just go easy on me. She is one hundred per cent menace and I can’t and won’t complain about that. There is always room to grow, time to expand into someone bigger, some better, become stronger than anyone truly believes or sees possible.
I’m keeping this short. Not because the book was bad but so I can torment and torture; just like Ms. Malone does. Fabulous as ever. Well done.
London Soul immediately picked up where London Royal left off which I was very happy about. But it also instantly started with the unexpected.
Nana Malone’s books definitely know how to keep a reader guessing and ensure that I try never to assume I know what’s going on too soon.
Lex is officially going to the top of my list of most intense leading men I’ve read by this author. But I loved the intensity.
I also loved that once again the final story and whole duet felt fresh and new. I enjoyed the cultural tie ins and as always I love getting to see racial differences of the two main characters handled so wonderfully.
This book had danger and suspense and steam and just great writing. I absolutely recommend this book, after reading London Royal of course. And after reading this I can continue to highly recommend Nana Malone’s books.
I love the characters Abbie and Lex. They are great together. I loved this book.
Abbie and Lex have had a rough relationship. Secrets and lies don’t help in a relationship. Abbie has no family support and Lex thinks he needs to be unhappy so no one gets hurt. Abbie and Lex are hot together. In the end, do the secrets and lies get to be to much? Will Abbie and Lex realize they need each other to be happy?
Nana Malone has once again wrote a book where the characters jump off the page and you can feel their emotions. I loved this book and highly recommend it. I can’t wait to see what’s next.
4.5 stars
This is the second book in the London Royal Duet series and the conclusion of Alexei and Abbie’s story. It is not a standalone. These two have been through so much as their relationship evolved with obstacles at every turn. Abbie is still dealing with her abusive and possessive ex who has remained a threat to her and Alexei is harboring some major secrets from his past. You know what they say about the best intentions…Are the feelings that they have for each other strong enough for them to tear down all of the impediments in their way? Once again, this author has written a highly engaging, drama filled intriguing storyline. Although this is the end, it really is not as readers will be left with a burning desire for Xander’s story which will hopefully be coming shortly. I volunteered to read an advance copy of this book.
Such a great wrap up, could NOT put it down! Abbie and Lex go through all the torture Nana Malone is known for, the action, intrigue, Royal shenanigans that are standard in most of her books, but she manages to twist each deception into something all new with these two! You don’t know who is fooling who, who is the good one to root for and I LOVE THAT! I love that in these books, you know the good guy is gonna get the girl, but this author twists that refreshingly so that all the players have some good and some bad. Can’t argue with that strategy as thats generally how it is in real life as well, I don’t think I’ve met anyone who was all good or all bad but its extra good in a book because it keeps you guessing throughout! And the ENDING! Bring on Xander’s book, I NEED it!
The stunning conclusion goes further in Abbie and Alexi’s story. Without giving too much away it seems like everyone and everything didn’t the couple to reach their HEA. Of course, if you are Nana Malone die-hard fan like me then you already know that the Pandora’s Box of secrets never stays hidden. Twists and secrets aside Abbie and Alexi manage to fight through it. I did have a shortlist of a few characters that should get a healthy dose of just desserts. Personal feeling aside I thoroughly enjoyed the story especially the epilogue. After that, I will be a countdown until Xander and Imani’s story with my list of questions.
Royal Secrets… Royal Soul…
Never a bad ending coming from Nana Malone. While I hate cliffhangers as much as the next person, I can’t help but love the build up to the HEA!
Lex & Abbie have to continue to work through the secrets that are affecting their lives and eventually affecting their happiness. They have to work on bringing their true lives/selves to the forefront and figuring out what part of their lives is worth the sacrifice.
This conclusion leaves you falling in love with another Royal Couple. You also meet characters that you want to know more about. Lex and Abbie have won our hearts and their story has quickly become a favorite!
This is definitely a great read. Nana clears up the issues that she left us siwth in Royal Soul and win our heart in Royal Soul!
Another Royal Winner!
Photography student Abbie Nartey has trust issues thanks to her abusive ex Easton. It takes a lot of courage for Abbie to confront the fact that Alexi Chase is different from Easton. But the handsome Alexi is hiding secrets from Abbie. Big secrets. When Alexi’s secrets come out, will it be too much for Abbie? Note: this story ends on a cliffhanger.
London Soul is a drama-filled, suspenseful and steamy story full of twists and turns that will keep you glued to your seat. I can’t wait to read Royal Playboy, Xander Chase’s story.
Abbie shared her past with Lexi, but Lexi hasn’t shared his with her. When his secrets were revealed to the world, Abbie ran away and it took a lot for him to convince her to give him another chance. Will she stay with him when she finds out about his past, or will she run away for good?
London Soul picks up right where London Royal ends. It’s full of unexpected twists, turns and steamy scenes; a satisfying conclusion to Abbie and Lexi’s tale, and an exciting beginning of Imani and Xander’s!
London Soul is a contemporary romance written in dual first-person narrative. It’s the second part of a duet that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.
I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.
Finally, the rope to the cliff hanger the author left us with in book one. (you need to read book one if you have not)
Be prepared for strong emotions, danger, steam and ending that will let you catch your breath and lead into another duet with Zander.
Each has secrets they’ve hidden and don’t want to share. Yet, with their exploding emotions, danger, and steam sharing becomes necessary. Telling more would spoil it for readers. I can guarantee this is another masterpiece ending to the romance and life of Abbie and lex as well as a teaser leads into the next duet.
Although when I started reading this duet I was a little miffed when I realized I had read this story before in London Bound and London Calling, it doesn’t change the fact that it is an excellent read. Nana is weaving the Chase Brothers into her royal series and in order to do that you have to know their stories. Abby and Lex’s story is steamy and suspenseful and I can’t wait to see where the future of this story goes. Now that they have had their happy ending in the past I am excited to see where they are going. I also loved revisiting all of the additional players in this series, the friends of Abby and Lex. It opens up so many possibilities for future stories. Another fun and exciting read for Nana that you definitely shouldn’t miss.
Great conclusion! Alexi and Abbie continue to grow closer and then are torn apart. His secrets are revealed. Can she accept his past to have a future together?
The cliff hanger from the previous story wasn’t quite as dramatic as I expected but the story flows so well that you keep reading it! Abbie and Lex are meant to be together but as happens so often, family interferes and so does life. Two strong individuals who want to make it work but are constantly faced with challenges. The love is strong but will it win?
I received an ARC from the author for an honest and unbiased review.
