This is the first book by this author that I have read and I loved it.I enjoyed following London and her sisters as they try move on and take care of the family ranch. I loved reading London and Braden story and look forward to reading Holland and Paris’s stories as well.
What a cool book. I loved this story from beginning to end. London and her sisters Paris and Holland have just lost their father. Their mother took off years before. Now they have to run his ranch. And they have faith in each other. They each have their responsibilities and they know they can do it. Everyone else isn’t so sure. But London is a strong woman that is determined to prove everyone wrong. She really doesn’t need any distractions. Enter Braden a local law enforcement hottie who London has crushed on since she was a teenager. Turns out he crushed on her too. Matters of the heart can be tricky and they sure are for London. She also has to deal with other surprises that I won’t reveal because that would spoil things. This book keeps the reader on the edge of their seat the whole time.
I loved the characters in this story. Especially the bond between these sisters. This is basically London’s story but I felt a connection to all three sisters. And I hope there is more about their stories in the future. I highly suggest this book to romance fans and also fans of just a great story about a strong woman proving her place in life no matter who doubts her. Want romance? Got it. Want steamy scenes? Got it. Want surprises around every corner? Definately got it. Trust me. You won’t be able to put this book down. Go read it today!
Great start to a new series
London and Braden make for one tumultuous couple. Coming from a Florida ranching family myself, I particularly enjoyed seeing it depicted accurately in a book. I’m looking forward to Holland and Paris’ stories quite impatiently.
An awesome book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and interesting read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong, intriguing characters. I want to read more from this author.

Review by Danielle for Janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
I have never read a book by Danielle Norman, but I must say I really enjoyed her writing style. She writes about women in charge.
Stetson is about three sister who takes over there ranch when there father passed away. The oldest of the sisters fall in love with one of the police officers Braden McManus. There is a lot of terrible things happening at the ranch who could be causing It? Find out by reading this wonderful story. This is a must read.
“Stetson” (Iron Horse Book 1) by Danielle Norman is a great read. I loved London and Braden’s story. This is a great start to this new series, packed with humor, romance, passion, family, drama, and more. I can’t wait to see what happens with the other Kelly sisters! Highly recommend to all fans of romance, family, and series.
Stetson is the new instalment for Danielle Norman and probably the beginning of a new series. This book introduces you to the Kelly sisters, London, Paris and Holland, name after the places their mother wanted to visit. At the beginning of the book we learn that their father has died and now the ranch belong to them, London manages the books, Holland manages the horses and Paris is in charge of the house. After the funeral, and a few beers, London has a passionate encounter with her school crush, a local deputy, which sets the beginning of their story and his involvement with the sisters. After their father’s death, the Kelly sisters encounter that not all of their employees believe that they have what it takes to run a ranch, and after a few incidents they must prove them wrong with the help of the neighbors and the local deputy.
This book is really good, the story has a really interesting development and the characters are so well defined and developed that is difficult not to immerse yourself into the story. The love story between London and Braden is beautiful, funny and beyond endearing. I LOVE London’s personality, some of my favorite quotes from her are: “Just remember that today when I woke up and spun the wheel of attitude, it landed on sarcastic bitch, again. So no need to lie to me.” and “If I invite you in, that doesn’t mean I like you. I still might want to buy you a toaster for your bathtub”
And Braden is not that far, he was so cute! Somehow, being 100% honest I wanted him to have a little bit more of a backbone and to stand up to London, because he kinds of let her do whatever she wants and have a say in everything that happen between them. Still, I would love to have my own Braden F** McManus.
Now for the rest of the story, I do have some reservations about it… don’t get me wrong, the book is awesome and I know this is a romance book and nothing else… but… I felt like it could have been so much better if the story about the things that happen to the ranch was developed as a mystery, because in the first 3 lines of the story you know who is causing all of the problems and why and it’s exasperating to see the girls and the deputy following their tails instead of confronting this person or doing something about it. I know they waited until they had proof but they actually waited until the proof landed into their laps instead of looking for it. I just had to remind myself that this was a romance and NOT a mystery even if the story permitted such development, so maybe like me you would need a little reminder.
Now I can’t wait to read about Paris and Archer and I suspect Holland and Reid, and hopefully Marcus. Till my next fix!

I love the Kelly sisters names. London, Holland, and Paris are unique not only in name but also in person. The loss of their father has them banded together to continue running the family ranch, but there is a wolf amidst the sheep trying his damnedest to cause the whole thing to crumble at the girls’ feet. London is the one to have to stumble her way through and figure this out before the ranch is all but a memory. Add in a little school girl crush that has come back to town and is hot to trot, and you have a book worth staying up all night to finish.
As the first book in a new series from Danielle Norman, I was so excited. I have loved her previous books, and I am so glad shes got a new series. “Stetson” introduces the Kelly sisters who have an amazing relationship with each other. After the death of their father they are forced to take over the ranch. Working the ranch they love means being strong women in a mans world (which lets admit is a battle we are all fighting). Trying to balance work on the ranch and relationships both with new people and those on the ranch is a hard balance. London “wo”mans the ranch and does her best to step into her fathers shoes. She has to balance potential sabotage, and a budding relationship all while supporting and maintaining the ranch that is her families livelihood. Danielle opens this new series with enough snark “I spun the wheel of attitude, it landed on sarcastic bitch, again” and love “once you figure out who you want to spend the rest of your life with, you want the rest of your life to start that very moment” and suspense to keep you coming back for more. Danielle does just enough world building to set the scene without being wordy, and introduces enough fringe characters to build the story without going off on tangents that distract from London and Braden. If you like horses, ranch life, strong women, Florida lifestyle, or just well written romance then give “Stetson” a read, you will NOT be disappointed.
4.5 Stars!
Stetson was a quick and light romantic read with a compelling mystery/suspense twist that kept me turning pages. The “mystery” wasn’t so much a mystery as knowing the what or why in his/her motivations. The escalation of the suspense was the surprising factor, but just as riveting. As for the romance, dreamy sighs all around. Braden was the perfect hero to London’s independent personality and the predicament her family finds themselves in. I enjoyed the whole premise to this series – three sisters running a large and productive ranch after the recent death of their father. The heroes for the remaining two sisters are introduced in this book and after the fun I had with this story, I’m looking forward to reading their romance story just as much.
Wonderfully creative love story
Danielle Norman’s Stetson was an amazing read. I loved London and the relationship she had with her sisters Paris and Holland. Brandon was her perfect match. A strong male that embraced her strengths and the chemistry between them absolutely sizzled. The mystery portion of the book was well crafted and built realistically till the very end. I am looking forward to the next story in the Iron Horse series.

London and her two sisters, Paris and Holland have just lost their father to cancer. They are left to run the ranch with each having their own responsibilities. Braden is the town’s deputy sheriff and London’s school crush. These two get together and the sparks fly between them. An excellent story with drama, betrayal, lies and trust. A recommended read for western or romance lovers.

Trouble at the ranch keeps Braden and London on high alert.
London and her sisters have their hands full taking on all the responsibilities of their ranch after their father’s death, even more so when it becomes clear someone is sabotaging the ranch. The reappearance of her high-school crush, Braden, is more than London can deal with, despite their intense chemistry, especially when she believes he’s only looking for a fling. Braden keeps busy trying to find out who’s trying to destroy the ranch while also trying to convince London he’s serious about her.
As the first in a new series, this book does a terrific job of introducing all the related characters and setting a strong foundation for future romances. London and Braden’s romance is emotionally charged and heartwarming, with more than a few heart-stopping, sheet-clenching moments. There’s a beautiful HEA that follows the resolution of the villainous threat, assuring a bright future for the cowgirl and her favorite deputy. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Well, I’m not quite sure what to think of the story. It is indeed an very interesting one, that’s for sure, but I could barely ‘connect’ with London. She’s the strong one of the sisters but seems a little immature – I can’t help it. Braden ob the other side – the knight in shining armour…
Wow!! What a great start to this new series!!! I LOVED London and Braden!!!! London is a strong, independent woman going through some hard times after the death of her father. Braden just oozes masculinity and confidence with out being cocky and … he just sounds so “lickable”. Definitely the kind of man London needs on her side when trouble starts! Someone is out to undermine her, her ranch is in danger and Braden is just the man she needs…. even if she doesn’t realize it at first!! I highly recommend this book!
I’m digging this new series by Danielle Norman. This book is full of angst and drama but in a way that has the readers hooked from the first chapter. London and her sisters are charged with running the ranch for their late father, some people in the town feel like it’s a man’s job to run a ranch. Her and her sisters are out to prove the haters wrong. When a sexy Deputy makes his reappearance in town London is down for one night but Braden wants more. See he has had a crush on London since they were in middle school together and he is determined to make her his. With all of the drama surrounding the ranch and somebody not wanting the girls to succeed London doesn’t have time for Braden, but he inserts himself anyway.
I love how Ms. Norman has female leading characters in all of her books to date. The woman are feisty and sassy and their men balance them out. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!
Stetson is the first book in a new series from Danielle Norman. I was so excited when i read that we were getting a kick ass country girl. We are introduced to the Kelly sisters who have an amazing relationship and friendship with each other. They are now trying to navigate there way after the loss of their beloved father.
Ranch life is what they know, their father raised three strong and very capable young women. But there are some that think three women running a working ranch will end in disaster. London and her sisters must fight to keep themselves afloat, When strange things start happening on the ranch.
Braden McManus, works for the local sheriff’s department. He reconnects with London after her fathers funeral. They have known each other from a far since school, never mixing in the same circles. But secretly had crushes on each other. When they come together sparks ignite with great chemistry. But with all the things happening on the ranch can they make a go of their new relationship??
Stetson was a great read and i’m looking forward to reading Holland and Paris’s stories.
Someone give Danielle Norman a crown because she has become the queen of unputdownable reads. I picked up Stetson planning to read for a bit and get some work done but next thing I knew, I blinked and hours had gone by while I was completely absorbed in London and Braden’s story. I fell in love with Danielle’s writing with her Iron Orchids series, but man, she has outdone herself with Stetson!
In true Danielle Norman fashion, London is no delicate little flower. Strong, independent, and incredibly smart she exudes girl power. Running a ranch with her two sisters after the loss of her father she’s tough as nails keeping her family’s legacy alive. One thing I love about Danielle’s writing is the always present reminder that women can be who they are, do what they want to do, and do so while supporting other women. There’s always a boost of confidence and empowerment that comes with all the swooning and sizzling heat when I read her books and Stetson has that in spades.
Now, on to the juicy stuff. You know you want to know just how hot Braden is. Well, grab your fans folks, because there’s no hiding the scorching heat that comes from this man! Braden is divine! Not only is this officer wonderfully hot, he’s also equally sweet. Protective without holding London back, he’s constantly there supporting her in ways that will totally melt your heart. Along with the sweetness comes some seriously hot chemistry between these two. I’m talking seriously electric, give you goosebumps, make your heart pound, HOT chemistry.
Mix all that heat and sweet with mystery and some seriously emotional times and Stetson becomes a book that takes over your entire world while you’re reading.
I’m still playing catch up from being away on vacation for two weeks, so this review is going to be a bit on the short side. That said, this author just keeps getting better and better. This was my favorite book of hers to date. It was well written and well paced. It was told in a dual POV format. The plot was engaging (even if it is very obvious who the “baddie” is right from the beginning). It was was super low angst. There wasn’t any OW or OM drama. I loved the secondary characters (the sisters especially), and I assume we will see Paris and Asher as a couple and Reid and Holland as a couple in upcoming books. It was humorous and full of great banter. The heroine was very likable (not a virgin), and the hero was just as likable (not a manwhore). Add in some spice and a sweet epilogue, and you pretty much have the perfect way to spend a couple of hours. Bring on book two!
Introducing the Kelly sisters! Determined to keep the ranch going after their father died. London is in for the ride of her life when sheriff Braden helps keep the ranch and London safe.
This was a great start to a new series. I look forward to reading the other Kelly girls stories.
