Loki Grant’s first memories are of living in a crate behind an inn in Ayr, struggling to survive. Clan Grant saved him from his lonely existence and took him in as one of their own. But though the Highlands have become his home and he loves his adopted parents, Brodie and Celestina, Loki feels lost. Part of him is still that scrappy wee lad who relied on his wits to survive the streets, and he is … is not sure he belongs. The feistiest and most beautiful lass in the clan, Arabella, steals his heart, but when her father resists the match because Loki is not of clan blood, Loki decides to confront his past. He wishes to satisfy Bella’s father by discovering his parentage, but he also hopes his quest will help him understand his purpose.
As far as Arabella is concerned, Loki Grant is the wiliest, brawest, and most handsome warrior in existence. She is determined to have him as her husband regardless of what her father thinks. So when Loki’s search for his sire leads him into trouble, she rushes headlong after him.
Together, Loki and Arabella must discover the dark secrets of Loki’s origins, for only by confronting the past can they hope for a bright future together.

I loved this book. The characters were described very well.
Had a little bit of a different plot.
Great character build
I like this series so it was easy to rate.. Also easy to start the series from any character.
Repetitive and slow. Didn’t finish book.
A great book to read. H
Scottish historical romance gives a good feel for the period. Characters are well developed and likeable.
Too long
Loved it
A good read!
While predictable with only a couple of plot twists, this was a fun book.
Weak characters lead to quitting this book. Did Not Finish even after a return try a year later.
I enjoyed this book
Wonderful story with happy, emotional, funny & romance moments – highly recommend!
Was okay but lost interest second chapter
This book seems to have been written for a small child, didn’t care for it.
If you like the movies with Thor or any of the characters like that, then you will like this book. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.
Loki (The Highland Clan, #1) by Keira Montclair I enjoyed this book which is Loki and Arabella’s (Bella) story… Loki adopted by Brodie and Cekestina and Clan Grant.. Bella the love of his life ..but her father objects… he doesn’t feel worthy …I enjoyed all they go through to be together and get to their HEA… and then there is Kenzie…
For a fan of medieval romances, this was a true winner! Loved the characters, the plot twists and the happy ending!
