I really enjoyed this book. Logan was looking to change his life. Clark was looking to find the courage to stand up for himself. Maybe together they can find happiness.
Clark was an art teacher at the prison where he met Logan. He was a prisoner there, Logan was also fantasizing about Clark and him together. Clark was thinking about the same thing. Clark quit doing the lessons at the prison, he opened his own art shop. Finally Logan got out and he tried to get jobs but they always let him go because of his prison time. So he was given an internship for an art shop and he found Clark again. They sorted out their problems and started seeing each other and Clark was able to hire Logan’s best friend to help at the store. Happy endings love them!
Clark ownes a shop that caters to artists but he really needs a shop keeper assistant and he gets one and it just so happens to be the guy he’s had a crush on for years but this guy is completely off limits for one thing when they meet 3 years ago Clark was his art teacher at the local penitentiary yep Logan was and inmate and Clark hasn’t seen him since the riot. Pluse Clark has got some major baggage with his ex that just wont go away. And number 3 in the let’s not go there rules is Logan even gay.
Logan needs a fresh start after getting out and his fresh start just happens to be with the one guy he cant forget Clark he hasn’t seen him since the riot and Clark is noticeably freaked out but they manage to work one day together before it goes down hill with one simple kiss.
These two do manage to get together but they both have issues Clark’s is and abusive ex. Logan has prison and grief over another relationship not to mention a friend with his own troubles that may just get Logan in trouble.
I like this book just not as much as the first one Hunter they can be read as a standalone. There is a bit of English or street slang used in this book there were some minor typos but I’m sure it will be fixed by the time it goes to print. Some of this book felt rushed there dosent seem to be a resolution to the whole mess with Clark’s ex and you dont really know were things end up for Logan and Clark it’s more of a Happy for now kind of book. Unlike the first book were you get to see the progression of the couple’s relationship and Romance and you really get to see were they ended up with the epilogue. So yes this is a good read it just needs to be brushed up on a little.

Second chance and second life
Very good MM romance, very well written, quite original, with characters who are moving and fascinating without falling into vulgarity despite the context.
Clark meets Logan when he teaches art in a prison and Logan is a prisoner, but after a fight, Clark stops this activity and opens his art supply store. A few years later, when he is released from prison, Logan is set to be an intern at Clark’s store, but both believe that the other does not remember him. Their situation is complicated between a Logan’s new life after prison, his old connections, Clark’s doubts about Logan’s honesty, and a strong attraction that they both reject to protect themselves or the other.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. It was steamy throughout this book. The fantasy that people think of is so much of imagination. Well all the stories in this book made you blush, the emotions that makes you want more. That is just reading.

I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.

What a sweet romance between two totally different people. Both Logan and Clark has a crush on one another and it was sweet reading their journey to love. This book shows that if you love someone you can overcome the obstacles that might get in the way but love wins at the end.

This was my first time reading a book by this author. I liked characters and overall it was a sweet MM romance story. The writing was okay, maybe a bit choppy at times. However, I struggled with plot. It was really messy and felt rushed. The mess with Logan’s friend Dizzy didn’t have any sense. There was also no resolution with Clark’s ex. It could definitely use more polishing and then it would be a much better story.
