Logan Blackthorne is the youngest. No one seems to think he takes anything seriously. He is jack of all trades but he doesn’t find a passion for any of his jobs. He loves to flirt and he has a special spot in his heart for his Nana. Piper Stewart is a game designer. She is torn between staying home or spreading her wings and moving to the West coast. While making up her mind, she is working as a waitress at the Vault. She is also reprising her friendship with Logan. Only Logan wants more. Time to grow up and stand up for himself. He is going to have to fight for the girl. Oh these Blackthorne men, they are all finding their true loves. I can’t wait to read the final book in the series!
In my opinion Logan is too whiny. I got tired of it’s tough being the youngest and how he was looking to get his father’s approval, yet he doesn’t want to pick an area to work. I appreciated his work ethic and getting to know each aspect of Blackthorne Enterprises. In my opinion it took too long for him to stand up to the senior Blackthorne. I loved Piper and her spunkiness, her loyalty and her love for her father. I loved how Piper dealt with Logan at the beginning, in my opinion it was awesome. Overall I found Logan and Piper a cute couple. I read on Kindle Unlimited.
Logan Blackthorne is the youngest of this big successful family. He is going through the company trying to see what fits him the best and where to slot in and start his career. He comes home to run the Vault as he does every year the manager goes on holidays. Not one afraid to muck in and help out it keeps him intouch with the people and what they like. Also home is piper, she has come home to spend time with her father to try and work out what her career path she should take.. The one with friends who want to start s company or another route. While working together these grow close, Piper ask questions Logan finds answer g hard and when she asks for advice he finds his own path. These two are a match made I heaven and to read about them growing and navigating the bumps is wonderful. Fantastic read thank you Samantha Chase.
Logan is part of a series but I had not read the previous books and I didn’t feel like I couldn’t follow the story. There was just the right amount of back ground information about the family to make me have an understanding of the dynamics within it. I may have to go back and read the previous stories because I’m intrigued by the bits in this story.
I love Piper and her sass. How she stands up for woman in the gaming industry as well as how she pushed Logan. Logan is a great guy who is trying but gets a bad rap for his reputation. I love his grandma and how she gives it to him straight. I love when characters show growth and Logan does that for me. It was a great story.

Logan by Samantha Chase is book 6 in the series 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes written by six other amazing authors! Each book is a standalone but has an underlying story that connects to each book…
Logan Blackthorne and Piper Stewart have grown up together, though they never really associated as he is the owner’s son and she is the groundskeepers daughter. Piper has always had a thing for Logan but knew it wouldn’t come to fruition now years later she returns to Kings Harbor to decide where her future in the gaming world lies. Taking a job at the Vault, the Blackthorne Bar while talking with her father about her future she see Logan again but he doesn’t recognize her…next comes the banter, sexual tension, laughter and each must find their true calling in life…will it be together or miles part??
Trey by Christie Ridgway is the final book in the series so hopefully we will find the answers to the underlying story of Graham and Clair Blackthorne…
Really enjoyed this sexy, fun and engaging journey filled with interesting charters, witty banter, emotional thrills and undeniable passion… was a great read! Highly entertaining with some truly laugh out loud moments and heartwarming turns.
We really get a good look at the youngest Blackthorne boy in this story. Who is Piper? How do we meet her? How does she know the Blackthornes? What did Piper go to school for? Who are Michael and Eric? How do they know one another. I love Piper and how she pushes and challenges Logan. Will he make his dreams known to anyone? This book was such a fun read. I thoroughly enjoyed the interactions between Piper and Logan. Watching the miscommunications was a little depressing at times, but they had me shaking my head. A crazy fun read for me with this book. Enjoy the read!

Logan, the youngest of all of the Blackthornes, always felt like he had the most to prove to the family. His secret desire, to run the Blackthorne business dynasty, has always seemed out of reach as Trey, the oldest of the seven Blackthornes, was second in command and heir-apparent to take over the reins once Graham Blackthorne stepped aside. In trying to be all things to all aspects of the Blackthorne businesses, Logan became the cliche “Jack of all trades but master of none.”. One of his favorite places to be was running the Vault, the bar/restaurant next to the whisky distillery in Maine.
When taking over day-to-day management of the Vault while the manager is on vacation, a new server catches his eye. After an evening of sassy banter and flirtation, Logan realizes the new server is none other than Piper, the daughter of the housekeeper on the Blackthorne estate. Piper was younger than Logan, so they didn’t run in the same circles growing up, and had moved away to college in West Virginia to become one of the few female gaming coders.
Piper has a job opportunity that will take her to Seattle and away from her widowed father indefinitely so she is very hesitant to start any kind of relationship with Logan. She highly respects his business skills and asks him to consult with two of her college friends that are thinking of starting a new company that she would be a part of. Piper’s confidence in Logan plants the seed that maybe, instead of trying to run everything Blackthorne, he might be more satisfied venturing out into uncharted territory.
The author has stated that the movie “Sabrina” inspired her writing and there are glimpses of that influence throughout the book.
I highly recommend this book and truly enjoyed reading it.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Logan is book 6 in the 7 Brides for 7 Blackthorne’s series. This series is by a collection of authors and while there is a backstory that runs through all 7 books, they can be read as a standalone.
This book for me was quite good but it definitely wasn’t my favorite. Logan and Piper’s story is a bit of a “finding themselves” book and I can totally get behind that. Logan desperately wants to step out of the shadow of his overbearing father but he finds himself just drifting from one family business to the next. His father is demanding he figure his life out, or he’ll step in and do it for him. So Logan returns to The Vault to figure out his life, only to add a beautiful complication to it.
Piper is an up and coming game designer but is struggling with the offers before her and wants some kind of guarantee things will work out. She and Logan quickly learn guarantees don’t exist, in life or in love.
While I did enjoy the story, I found both Logan and Piper to be really petty with each other. Thankfully, they do make a change in the course of the story but if the juvenile bickering and general pettiness persists too long, it really impedes the characters likability. While they’re definitely some highlights, such as Nana–for me, their overall immaturity impacted my enjoyment of the book. However, I am deeply intrigued by the “family secret” that caused the mother to walk out of her own birthday party, so I’ll be tuning in for the conclusion of the series!
AnnMarie – Alphas Do It Better Book Blog
Although all of the books have had the same premise, the Blackthorne men are playboys and are tied to the Blackthorne brand, Logan surprised me. Yes, he’s a playboy; or at least he was. Yes, he works for Blackthorne, but not in a defined role. But I like that he was willing to stand up to his father and venture out on his own, while keeping everyone happy, including himself.
Logan thought outside of the box and did not cave to his father’s demands. I have a lot of respect for that. He has Piper to thank for challenging him and what he thinks he wants. How will he thank her for inspiring him?
Piper Stewart grew up on the Blackthorne’s King Harbor estate. Her father is the groundskeeper. She knows her place, but she’s had a bit of a crush on Logan Blackthorne most of her life. Now…they are all grown up, and they have chemistry in spades. Can they handle a little fling, or will hearts and feelings be too much to handle?
Logan Blackthorne wants it all. Literally. He wants to be head of all the Blackthorne industries. Or so he thinks. When push comes to shove, though, will he stand up to his father and demand what he wants to do with his future, or will he let Graham Blackthorne dictate it?
Still loving this series. Still don’t know what the big secret is. Still want to smack Graham around a bit because he won’t get his head out of his butt and go win his wife back. But I digress….
NICUnurse’s Rating: While an entertaining story, and a well-written one at that, this book did not keep me reading past my bedtime. So, I was a little disappointed in that. While my body might hate me when I read most of the night away, I actually love it when I just can’t put a book down until I’m completely finished reading it. With that said, Logan was still a good story. A kind of friends to lovers romance with more of a smooth roll into love than a huge fall. What I DID love the most about this book was when Logan had it out with his dad. He said a lot of things that SOMEONE has needed to say to Graham all along. I kind of wanted to stand up and cheer when Logan had the courage to say what was really on his mind. And some of what has been on everyone else’s mind. I kind of dug Piper’s bluntness too. Logan definitely needs a woman who was not afraid to speak her mind and tell it like it is. All in all, it was an entertaining read, and if you’re as invested in this series as I am at this point, it’s more than worth the money to own this book. It’s really hard to go really wrong with a Samantha Chase book, guys, so just give in and 1-click this one! I give Logan by Samantha Chase 4 out of 5 stars.
4 1/2 STARS
I really enjoyed their story. It was a quick read for me. Reading this book makes me interested in all the other Blackthorne men.

I have been a long-time fan of Samantha Chase. I devour everything she writes and is always thrilled when something new comes out. Logan is a little different as it is part of a series where each book is written by a different author. I have only read Samantha’s book in this series but from reading Logan I can say that each book is its own story.
Logan is a story of a rich man trying to find his way in the world when he runs into a childhood friend and feelings develop. I loved how Logan didn’t recognize Piper when he first saw her after years apart. He flirted with her and then learned who she was. Piper played right along with him even though she knew who he was. It was fun to see the relationship develop and the characters developed too. They both had big decisions weighing on them and both needed the distraction of each other to find their ways.
This story is a story that’s been told before, it was predictable, but it was fun. It was easy to read and didn’t require me to think too hard. I enjoyed meeting Logan and Piper.
Wonderfully written book, with everything a romance reader could want! I could not put it down once I started reading it, and read straight thru to the very end.
I love the way Ms. Chase got into the nitty gritty of both Piper and Logan’s lives. The way she gets into the guts of her characters. Her characters are real, with all of their strengths and weaknesses.
Logan is the youngest of the Blackthorne clan, and as such is always thought of as the baby. Logan is the easy-going member of the Blackthorne clan. He is determined to learn everything possible about every single entity of the Blackthorne empire and believe me there are a lot of different pots. His family, especially his father Graham Blackthorne think he does not have the motivation to pick a career within the corporation. The problem is, Logan wants to run it all!! Logan is will be filling in for the manager of the Vault the family’s restaurant, when he goes on vacation. Logan realizes there is a new face on the staff, a new waitress, and definitely likes what he sees. When she comes up to place an order, he starts talking to her.
Piper has come home to spend time with her father after being away at college for so long. She has finally graduated with her master’s degree in game design, and she is darn good at it. She has offers from several companies. The problem with working with them, is they will take possession of any game she designs, including the popular game she has already designed. On the other hand, some of her friends from college are creating a new company and have invited her to join them. The problem with this option, they have no business experience. So, while she is home for the summer she is working at the Vault, while she makes some decisions regarding her future. The Vault is where she runs into Logan again, and darn, he is still fiiiine!!!! And, he is hitting on her!! Sigh! Then, the balloons deflate, he asks what her name is. And so, it begins, the chase, Logan is determined to find out who she is. Then Charlie, the manager comes over and calls her by name. Piper!?!
I loved watching these two reconnect, and first becoming friends, and then lovers. I really enjoyed watching Piper and Logan finish growing into the people the become. I do not want to give any of the story away, so I will stop there.
I was given a copy of the wonderful book for my reading pleasure, and to give my opinions on what I thought of the book.
I know you will love this book as much as I have, so what are you waiting for? Go hit that purchase button at your favorite retailer and start reading.
Thank you for reading my review. I hope I helped you make the decision to buy and read this book. I would love to here what you thought of it too!
Being the youngest isn’t easy. Logan Blackthorne knows this and figures out from a young age that he has to be better then everyone else. Not that anyone else notices it. Piper Stewart has been watching Logan all her life. Not in a stalker way since she is the daughter of the grounds keeper at his family’s estate. Logan knew of her and they were friendly to each other but they didn’t really know each other. Until she comes back from college, working the family restaurant at the same time as Logan does he notice her. From their first interaction, I was hooked. The banter between them is so cute laced with so many vibes of sexual tension that you know where it will eventually go. The journey there though is where it’s interesting. They are truly friends. They challenge each other with not only gaming, Piper’s chosen field, but in what they will do with their respective careers. Logan is given an ultimatum from his father to pick a division of the family business to settle into. Piper is looking to be on the ground level of her friends new business.
I really loved Logan. Maybe being the youngest in my family helped to understand what his postion was, maybe because I know what it’s like to be underestimated. He is an overachiever by his own design. He has to make his decision based on his desire to please his father. I was rooting for Logan to make the decision for himself.
There is only one thing that could make a Samantha Chase book any better….and that is writing with a group of authors, about multiple alpha males who all belong to a family and tell a complete, intricate story that makes you devour book after book.
The series, 7 Brides for 7 Blackthornes, is another multiple author series about 7 special men who happen to be brothers and cousins. They run an empire and all of the joys and problems that come along with that. Each book can be read alone but when you follow the releases, there are several underlying details that play out throughout all seven books.
Logan Blackthorne has been the baby of the family. He’s tried to find his place in the business but nothing really holds his interest long enough to stick. Same with the women in his life. Little does he know that his old friend, the groundskeeper’s young daughter, has become an astounding woman and is getting ready to turn his life upside down.
An amazing collection by amazing authors, especially our very own Samantha Chase. Don’t miss these stories. And we have another Montgomery story coming soon….plus we will visit Magnolia Sound again.
Boy, Graham really treats Logan like crap. I really felt bad for him. He really didn’t know where he fit in with the business. Piper definitely helps him to see that things need to change. She finds her confidence as well. Great book!
Again, this is a new author to me and I will be reading more by her. All of the Blackthornes struggle with how to find their own identity and get out of there father’s shadow. I love the way the stories, all by different authors, flow seamlessly together. As the youngest Blackthorne Logan has big shoes to fill. Piper and her family have worked for the Blackthorn’s since she was a child and when Logan meets her again he doesn’t even recognize her, but she recognizes him. There is an instant chemistry/attraction between these two when they meet again. But Piper is only visiting her father, will Logan leave everything he knows behind to follow Piper? Will he let his father dictate to him on how to be a Blackthorne? I hope Trey lives up to the expectations I’ve had for this series so far!
Piper and Logan are old friends that haven’t seen each other in years. Logan and Piper have some decisions to make about their futures and what they want in life. I live how they fit perfectly together and that neither on is shy about the truth, unless it comes to their relationship. What an enjoyable read.
Loved it. Loved it. Loved it. Because “Logan” was everything I needed, everything I wanted, everything that’s good and right about a sweet and heartwarming friends to lovers romance.
Logan and Piper are two wonderfully crafted characters, who find themselves at a crossroad in their lives, trying to decide what is next in their careers, when fate brings them together.
Logan is immediately taken by her and doesn’t even recognize her. But Piper knows who Logan is, as she has had a crush on him for most of her life. Their first conversations are flirty snarky, and sassy as they work through the night together, until he finally is told who she is. And although Piper is aware of Logan’s reputation, she is unable to decline his smooth and suave advances.
But these two soon find out that they have a lot in common. Piper is not only beautiful and smart, but a force to be reckoned with. Their chemistry sizzles. And soon Logan and Piper are helping each other with their career concerns.
A modern day Sabrina-ish romance that is engaging, steamy, emotional and perfectly romantic and it delivers a sublime happy-ever-after with all the feels.
I was gifted an early copy of this story, for an honest opinion.
